While Pamil-san was getting petted by Mii-chan and the others, and we were chatting about trivial things, Guildmaster Zest happened to pass by and spoke to us.
“Regarding yesterday’s matter, Yan-kun said he will accept it. When should we start?”
“Tomorrow would be fine.”
“Alright. Pamil-kun, it’s your first task. I’ll leave it to you.”

We had a meeting in a separate room with Pamil-san and paid the request fee plus commission. It was quite a large sum. For the dissection, they planned to rotate the workers daily, except for Yan-kun. We need more knives.

When we returned to the guild’s tavern, we found Pero looking like he was about to cry. What happened?

The four kittens seem to be from the district heads’ families: a black male kitten and a calico female from the North District head, and a white female and a black-and-white male from the South District head.
They’re all cute, but… four kittens?

The kittens were very hungry, completely different from Luka. They finished three cans of cat food between the four of them.
I bought a large basket from a nearby store and placed the kittens, who had fallen asleep after eating, into the basket with a bath towel.
Returning to the inn, I took Sumire out and laid a blanket on a grassy area outside the gate, letting everyone down and allowing Sumire to roam freely.
The kittens woke up and meowed. They didn’t seem dirty, but we should give them a bath. I filled a tub with water and bathed each kitten. It was challenging as they squirmed, but with Pero’s persuasion and Sera’s intimidation in leopard form, they behaved during the bath.
After washing each one with Mii-chan’s shampoo and rinsing them off, I dried them and put them back in the basket. Inside the basket, Mii-chan busily groomed the kittens. Once they were all cleaned, Sera, back in black leopard form, joined in grooming the kittens. After grooming, the kittens played with Lu-kun and Pero.
Our pets work so well together. Big brother is almost in tears.
They’re all so cute. I’d love to cuddle them all, but it’s important to keep emotions in check to avoid a painful separation. I need to make sure to explain this to everyone, especially Mii-chan.
Mii-chan, I know you understand, but we will eventually have to part with these kittens.

“Princess understands this. Unlike Luka, these kittens were properly raised by their parents. They’re cheerful and don’t have issues.”
That’s right, they’re quite friendly. They’re climbing all over me… So, there’s no need to worry. Let’s cherish them as Mii-chan’s new younger siblings. Time for some snuggling!
