Chapter 180: Harry's Stubbornness and Dumbledore's Old Habits
Even Severus Snape, who later stayed with Voldemort as an undercover agent in the original book, did so because he was originally a pure-blood Death Eater, and the "White Moonlight" who killed him before Voldemort, Lily Evans, changed his stance and remained firm in protecting Harry.
From this, it can be seen that Hendry Rowle, as a member of the Order of the Phoenix who had been inactive as an undercover agent alongside Voldemort, a master of Legilimency, could transmit so much useful information over the years.
As the son of Hendry, the young wizard named Lynn Rowle is equally exceptional!
Professor Lupin sighed, and his eyes softened.
After Harry had almost recovered, Professor Lupin left the carriage and prepared to go to the front of the train to speak with the conductor.
Shortly after Professor Lupin left, the train slowly started moving and reached the Hogsmeade station safely that evening.
However, when they arrived at the outskirts of Hogwarts Castle in a carriage pulled by Thestrals, they found two eerie Dementors scattered near the stone pillars on both sides of the iron gates outside the castle.
As they approached the two Dementors, Harry felt a wave of chills coming toward him.
Harry shrank back into the carriage, only poking his head out again after the carriage passed through the middle gate.
Soon, the carriage stopped in front of the castle doors.
The young witches and wizards disembarked from the carriage one by one, passed through the castle doors, and headed toward the Great Hall.
Upon entering the Great Hall, Lynn and Irina instinctively looked up at the ceiling. At that moment, the ceiling was covered with dark clouds.
Indeed, an uninvited guest had arrived...
"Rowle! Lowell! Potter! Granger! I want to see all four of you!"
At that moment, Professor McGonagall's voice suddenly came from behind them.
The four turned around and saw Professor McGonagall greeting them with a serious expression on her face.
Lynn and Irina walked calmly toward Professor McGonagall, while Harry and Hermione were visibly nervous.
"No need to be so nervous, come with me."
Noticing the tense faces of Harry and Hermione, Professor McGonagall forced a smile and spoke to them.
Upon hearing this, Harry and Hermione relaxed their tense expressions.
The four followed Professor McGonagall through the lobby, up the marble staircase, and finally down a hallway to her small office.
Professor McGonagall's office was not large, but it radiated a warm atmosphere. A warm fire burned in the fireplace, and the office's furniture made one feel cozy.
"Professor Lupin sent an owl to tell me that you two released the full Patronus Charm. Is that true?"
Professor McGonagall looked at Lynn and Irina and asked.
Lynn and Irina nodded at the same time.
Seeing this, Professor McGonagall's eyes shone with joy. She was thrilled that her students had mastered the Patronus Charm, a spell that was extremely difficult and could only be cast by a true light wizard in the front, and she was very proud of Lynn and Irina.
"Very good, very good! If this school year hadn't already started, I would have awarded fifty points to Gryffindor and Slytherin for saving your classmates."
Professor McGonagall showed a gentle smile and spoke to them.
Lynn and Irina looked at each other and simultaneously thanked Professor McGonagall, "Thank you for the compliment, Professor!"
After praising Lynn and Irina, Professor McGonagall's expression became serious again. She spoke to Harry, "Professor Lupin also told me that you were feeling unwell on the train, Potter."
Upon hearing this, Harry felt a little uncomfortable. He didn't want others to know that he had fainted on the train.
After all, he was the only one who fainted when no one else did, which made Harry feel very embarrassed.
"I'm fine," Harry said stiffly, "I don't need anything."
At that moment, someone knocked on the door, and Madame Pomfrey from the school hospital entered.
She asked Professor McGonagall about Harry's condition, and after learning that the Dementors were responsible, her eyes became solemn, just like Professor McGonagall's.
Madame Pomfrey said with dissatisfaction, "What on earth is the Ministry of Magic doing sending Dementors to the school? I don't think he's the first to faint... Ah, he's cold and wet, they're truly terrifying creatures, and the impact they have on those who are already vulnerable..."
Madame Pomfrey examined Harry's body, muttering, but was interrupted by Harry.
Harry said angrily, "No, I'm not fragile!"
No matter how Professor McGonagall and Madame Pomfrey asked, Harry kept insisting that he was fine.
Of course, after eating the chocolate that Professor Lupin had given him, Harry's body felt much better, so Professor McGonagall and Madame Pomfrey finally let Harry, Lynn, and Irina go, leaving Hermione alone.
Lynn and Irina naturally knew that Professor McGonagall was going to deliver the Time-Turner requested from the Ministry of Magic to Hermione, who had taken all the courses, and the three returned to the Great Hall.
Just as Lynn and Irina had guessed, when Hermione came out of Professor McGonagall's office with a smile on her face, a pendant in the shape of a clock appeared around her neck.
The Great Hall for the opening dinner was a sea of pointed wizard hats. Thousands of floating candles hovered above the four long tables where the young witches and wizards from the four Houses were seated. These candles made the faces of the young witches and wizards glow brightly.
At the other end of the Great Hall, Professor Flitwick held the Sorting Hat and was preparing to start the Sorting Ceremony.
Obviously, they had missed this year's Sorting Ceremony, which was organized by Professor Flitwick.
At that moment, Professor McGonagall, who had already entered the Great Hall, walked toward her seat at the staff table, while Lynn and the other four returned to their seats.
Not long after, Dumbledore, who was sitting at the center of the staff table, stood up and spoke.
"Welcome! Welcome back to Hogwarts! I have a few things to tell you all, and one of them is very important, so I thought it best to make it clear while you enjoy a delicious meal and your brains improve. Let me make it clear before you get confused!"
Dumbledore said loudly to everyone.
After hearing Dumbledore's words, all the young witches and wizards sat up straight.
You know, Dumbledore almost never spoke loudly before the start-of-term feast. He always disliked bureaucracy, but now, he was willing to let the young witches and wizards eat earlier and enjoy the delicious food during the start-of-term dinner.
But now, Dumbledore had changed his habits, which obviously meant that what he was about to tell them was really important.
