Chapter 179: Worthy of being his child
Feeling the approach of the two powerful Patronuses, the Dementor let out a high-pitched scream and quickly retreated, shaking its cloak.
Lynn and Irina waved their wands again, and the silver wolf and silver fox chased the Dementor, dispersing much of the dark magic around it.
Of course, there wasn't just one Dementor on the Hogwarts Express, but every time Lynn and Irina's Patronus neared a carriage, the Dementors inside seemed to see a ghost and fled quickly, away from the train.
In less than a minute, Lynn and Irina had expelled dozens of Dementors from the Hogwarts Express.
Dozens of Dementors were defeated by two underage wizards. This seemed unbelievable, but it wasn't surprising.
After all, when Harry was at the Black Lake at the end of his second year in the original book, a single Patronus charm cast by one person was enough to drive away dozens of Dementors—let alone the magic level and the emotions infused by Lynn and Irina.
An endless stream of white-silver light burst from the windows of every carriage, illuminating the fog outside the Hogwarts Express. Countless Dementors fled from the train, crying and wailing as though they were avoiding the wrath of the gods.
Outside the train, dazzling silver light, like daylight, illuminated the small valley where the train was located. The white-silver light filled with countless happy emotions made the young wizards inside the train smile involuntarily.
Inside the carriage, Professor Lupin looked at Lynn and Irina in astonishment.
After seeing his friend's son, Harry, fainting, he had planned to cast the Patronus Charm to drive away the Dementors, but before he could wave his wand, these two young wizards—who looked like they were in their third or fourth year—had already cast a full Patronus spell.
How could this not surprise him?!
Even among the elite Aurors of the Ministry of Magic, only a handful of people could cast a full Patronus charm!
"Did you learn your Patronus charm at Hogwarts?"
Professor Lupin asked, finding it hard to imagine that the two young wizards in front of him could cast the Patronus charm better than he could.
Lynn shook his head and said, "No, my teacher taught me."
Irina said, "Lynn taught me."
Professor Lupin's eyes scanned Lynn and Irina, finally resting on Lynn: "What is your name, classmate?"
Lynn simply replied, "Lynn Rowle, Professor."
Upon hearing this, Professor Lupin realized with sudden clarity.
Rowle… Is he Hendry's son? I didn't expect him to have grown up so much!
Professor Lupin looked at Lynn with admiration and asked, "Lynn, can you tell me who your teacher is?"
Lynn replied, "My teacher is Wallison Green. You must have heard of the famous French alchemist who invented the Anti-Magic Stone."
Professor Lupin nodded slightly. Naturally, he had heard of Wallison Green, the famous French alchemist who invented the Anti-Magic Stone.
Although the power of the Anti-Magic Stone, which was made public, is extremely low and only weakens the magical power of wizards slightly, Wallison Green's Anti-Magic Stone was the first to propose the concept of "Anti-Magic" in the magical world.
If, in the future, other alchemists develop a more powerful Anti-Demon Stone that can completely block wizards' magic, Wallison Green will become the "creator of Anti-Magic Alchemist" for pioneering the concept of "Anti-Magic"!
Just as Professor Lupin was about to say something more, a groan came from not far away.
Harry groaned and woke up, with Ron and Hermione supporting him.
"Eat some of this, it will help!"
Seeing that Harry was awake, Professor Lupin quickly approached. He broke off a large piece of chocolate and handed it to Harry.
Harry weakly took the chocolate and said, "Thank you, Professor Lupin."
Harry finished the chocolate in small bites, his face flushing a bit as he stood up.
"What the hell was that thing?!"
Harry asked in confusion.
Professor Lupin was about to explain Harry's questions, but Irina spoke clearly before him, "Dementors. Azkaban Dementors! They're evil creatures created by humans. They are the guardians of Azkaban prison, and they're almost impossible to destroy. The only thing that can stop them is the Patronus charm."
Harry was even more confused, "But why did the Dementors from Azkaban come to our Hogwarts Express?!"
Lynn put his wand away again and said with a disdainful sneer, "Why? There are only two possibilities for the Dementors to leave Azkaban. The first is that the Dementors rebelled and escaped the Ministry of Magic's control; and the second is that the Dementors were let loose by some losers at the Ministry of Magic who ignored our lives to capture the fugitive Sirius and stabilize public opinion."
Everyone fell silent after hearing Lynn's words.
Although Lynn didn't explicitly say it, everyone knew the final truth was the second possibility Lynn mentioned.
"Mr. Rowle, are you talking about the loser from the Ministry of Magic...?"
Harry asked with some difficulty.
It was unimaginable to him that the Minister of Magic, who had just helped protect him not long ago, would do something so despicable.
Lynn sneered lightly and said, "Harry, you should know that not everyone who's good to you is a good person! Yes, that loser who deserves to go to hell is the current Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge! To preserve his own support and popularity, he will use his power as Minister of Magic to hunt you down. Naturally, he would let us all die to maintain his own public support!"
Lynn's words silenced everyone, and no one could refute them.
After all, the invasion of the Dementors onto the train that was carrying the young wizards to school happened right in front of them!
Professor Lupin also silently looked in Lynn's direction. He hadn't expected Lynn, only a fourth-year student, to see so clearly through the Ministry of Magic's intrigues.
You see, if Lynn hadn't exposed Fudge's thoughts completely, Professor Lupin might have thought the Ministry of Magic hadn't protected the Dementors or had made a thoughtless mistake in their decisions.
"As expected of Hendry's son."
Professor Lupin murmured quietly, seeming to recall the time more than ten years ago.
Hendry Rowle was an extremely good wizard back then. Otherwise, he wouldn't have been able to serve as the only undercover agent for the Order of the Phoenix, infiltrating Voldemort's side for so many years and even becoming Voldemort's right-hand man for a time.
