The God of Ice and Fire at Hogwarts

I saw Dumbledore clear his throat and said, "Our school is currently welcoming several Dementors from Azkaban. They are sent by the Ministry of Magic to carry out official tasks. You must already know this, as they searched the Hogwarts Express."

Dumbledore paused, a flash of disgust gleamed in his blue eyes.

Clearly, Dumbledore was very displeased with the Ministry of Magic sending Dementors, such a highly threatening creature, to search the train without authorization, endangering the lives of their own students.

"They are stationed at every entrance to the school," Dumbledore said calmly. "I must make it clear that no one is allowed to leave the school without permission while they are here. No trick, ruse, or disguise can fool the Dementors. This even includes Invisibility Cloaks."

Dumbledore was about to say something else. Harry was probably the only young wizard who owned an Invisibility Cloak at Hogwarts Castle. Most of the other young wizards who wanted to become invisible chose to learn the Disillusionment Charm.

"It is not in the nature of Dementors to understand excuses or plead for mercy. Therefore, I remind everyone here not to give them a reason to harm you. I expect the prefects and our newly elected Head of House to ensure that no student comes into contact with a Dementor. A conflict occurred," Dumbledore said seriously, looking at the young wizards below.

The young witches and wizards from the four Houses sat up straight and looked at him with solemn expressions.

Earlier, on the Hogwarts Express, just being near the Dementors made everyone feel as though they were being stripped of their happiness, and they felt a desire to end their lives due to depression. Not to mention that they were the target of the Dementors!

Needless to say, Dumbledore said not to dare break the school rules and sneak out of Hogwarts Castle when Dementors were stationed there.

"Changing the subject to a more pleasant matter," Dumbledore's expression finally softened after the discussion about the Dementors, "I am pleased to welcome two new professors to our faculty this semester."

"First, there is Professor Lupin, who has quickly accepted the position to cover the Defense Against the Dark Arts vacancy."

Dumbledore glanced in the direction of Professor Lupin, who stood up and nodded to everyone.

A few cold and sparse claps sounded in the auditorium. The young wizards were not particularly interested in the shabby-looking Professor Lupin. Only Harry and a few others, who had been favored by Professor Lupin and had received chocolate gifts from him, clapped.

Judging by the way Professor Lupin dressed, the young wizards didn't believe he could hold the position of Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, not even Harry and the others who had clapped enthusiastically.

After all, with Lynn and Irina's Patronus present this time, Professor Lupin couldn't even stand in front of Harry and the others and use the Patronus Charm to repel the Dementors.

"As for our second new professor," Dumbledore continued, "I regret to inform you that our Care of Magical Creatures professor, Professor Kettleburn, retired at the end of last term to have more time to enjoy his old arms and legs."

"However, I am pleased to announce that his position will be taken over by none other than Rubeus Hagrid, who has accepted the position of professor in addition to his duties as gamekeeper."

Dumbledore said happily.

When Dumbledore's words were spoken, a much warmer applause than before sounded in the auditorium. Almost all of the young Gryffindor lions clapped enthusiastically, and other houses could be heard joining in from the long tables.

At the professor's desk, Hagrid's face turned red. His eyes were lowered, looking at his large hands. His broad smile was hidden behind his untidy, tangled black beard.

After discussing all the important matters, Dumbledore also announced that dinner was ready.

The gold plates and goblets in front of everyone suddenly filled with food and drinks, and everyone began eating happily.

Soon, the opening dinner was over, and the young wizards, led by their prefects, returned to their dormitories to rest.

The next morning, after Harry and the others had breakfast, they walked toward the Divination classroom.

But Lynn and Irina had already arrived early at the door of the library.

In addition to the required courses, each of them only took one elective class. They didn't need to run around to different classrooms every day like Harry and the others.

For example, in this morning's first class, Lynn and Irina didn't have classes.

Lynn had no classes that morning, while Irina needed to go to the Transfiguration classroom for Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration class before the second class began.

"Let's go, let's cast the Disillusionment Charm and head to the Restricted Section of the library to find more advanced Dark Magic knowledge."

Lynn said.

Nowadays, the Dark Magic knowledge that Lynn and Irina had was obtained from the Dark Magic books and materials in the Rowle Castle on the fourth floor. However, they still had no contact with the books in the Restricted Section of the Hogwarts Library. In this way, Lynn and Irina held hands, used the Disillusionment Charm to avoid the librarian, Madam Pince, and sneaked into the Restricted Section of the Hogwarts Library.

The two quietly strolled through the dimly lit Restricted Section.

Also in their invisible state, Lynn held Irina's hand as they walked. For some reason, Irina didn't blush like last time but actually enjoyed it.
