The Boys-How to Be A Hero 101.

Chapter 4: close call

For a few minutes Michael, was in an irritated mood towards Indira who was currently scratching her cheek with a finger looking at him confused, Its been a long time since anybody's has managed to get under his skin especially so quickly, she truly was one weird woman, closing his eyes for a second, he took in the breezing sensation of the air and calmed his nerves. The surroundings noise seemed to just fade in the distance, all he truly felt was that warm pleasant feeling in his lungs, that circulated through out his body spreading that nice sensation, with a small unnoticeable smirk Michael Mood was better than before.

No Matter how many times he's experienced the sensation of air, it still was an amazing feeling to experience why wouldn't it be the air in Rosemary institution was corroded from the blood of countless residents, every time you would breath you could taste a hint of metallic compared to the outside worlds air they where leagues apart.

'This is nice.'

And Michael would stand on his words, anybody that tried to change his mind would bet met with a dark Cold Fist.

Opening his bright blue eyes, and exhaling all his frustration away, it was truly a wonder How the air seemed to strip him of his worries and the best part was it was everywhere, accessible at a moment's notices.

Indira next to Michael, stared at him not having a clue what was going on inside his head spoke.

"Ehmm well will talk about your room renovation later, but now let me show you your new home, and all it has to offer."

Her voice slowly rose proudly as she added, stretching out her hand to him, while a crowd of people walked through those giant golden gates to Godolkin.

"Welcome to Godolkin University, I'm proud to have you Here Michael i hope you enjoy your time here."

Michael stared at her silently, before rasing up his hand and grabbing hers with a wide grin Indira, walked him through those golden gates and into Godolkin.

Afterwards Michael kept glancing back and forth toward his hand, that was still enveloped by Indiras silently wondering if she was ever going to let it go but with every passing second he felt her grip get tighter.

"You see Micheal, Godolkin is not just your average Hero university no We train the Best of The Best with The Best resources Available around the globe, with The Greatest Educators ready to help you become the best you, you can—"

Suddenly before he could take another step the back of his neck hairs spiked instantaneously, Indiras Voice which Michael was trying to listen to was clouded out, out of pure instinct his muscles contracted, his senses where going haywire whatever was happening it was close and moving fast! With a twitch of his ears he acted.

"Be."

With a pull of his hand Indira came shocked towards him, tumbling into his chest, before looking up at him in confusion.

"Michael what are you—"

In but a singular second or less than that, The place where Indira was walking on was shattered, with a lane of fire in its path heading passed them, time seemed to slow down showing the change of seriousness onto Michael's face before returning with a deafing sonic boom.

Like a clap that shook the sky, Indira clutched her ears while the others barely entering the campus or near the area followed in her steps.

Multiple loud groans where heard, and people crouching to their knees in terror not knowing what was going on, that was what Michael wanted to know as well.

Turning his head Michael saw the path, growing farther and farther away with furrowed brows he really wanted to know who just tried to ram into him, intentionally or not, Michael was not being lax either weither he looked it he was constantly aware of his surroundings, who was glancing at him who walked past him, he remembered every face, every detail, down to a pimple or crooked teeth not to mentions the other things he was keeping track of.

And yet he was still forced into a situation that was out of his hands, which hasn't happened in years, in turn it made him realize something that he should've realized ever since he left Rosemary institution, the rules in there don't apply out here, he wasent in the same position he was at before where everyone avoided him, where everyone followed his rules, where he was king, no he was in foreign lands a nameless character, at the bottom of the barrel.

Michael eyes moved down onto the path of fire that was slowly burning out, revealing a deep foot print embedded on the ground, with narrowed eyes Michael Accepted The cold truth, He was a nobody in a place Where the best of the best where drawn to, Michael could see it as clear as day a familiar cord reminding him of something so closely attached to him.

Maybe some of the rules didn't apply here, but it look likes home still has a way of making sure Michael dosent forget where he came from, only the strong survive and Godolkin played by that rule even if Indira hadn't mentioned it.

"Michael you saved my life."

Indira spoke with a hand clutched to her chest, and her eyes wide opened she stared into the lost eyes of Michael who snapped out of his thoughts and looked at her.

Squeezing his shirt with one hand that still held on tight, she panted.

Honestly Michael didn't know what to think about that, it was all instinct he didn't do it intentionally but that was what bothered him, why did he do it she was someone he barely knew yet he saved her, she wasent a resident from rosemary she was just someone who he barely met yet his body acted out and saved her, it conflicted him he didn't have an answer for her so all he could do was simply nod, while thinking Why?
