The Boys-How to Be A Hero 101.

Chapter 5: consequences

Michael thoughts frustrated him, When suddenly a gentle Worried third voice appeared from behind them breaking up his train of thought.

"Are you Okay?!"

Michael looked behind his shoulder, where a pale slim figure Girl that looked to be about his age, was jogging to where he was, her medium size straight brown haired moved with every step she took, her dark brown eyes filled with genuine worry made Michael feel strange to say the least, the closer she got the more details Michael noticed, with a small upturned nose, and small pink lips, she was dressed in a pink shirt with a white skirt with a pair of white shoes.

The girl gasped as she came close while Michael turned around to face her directly, she stared behind them at the shattered flaming ground a step away from Michael and Indira with a hand brought up to her mouth her eyes shifted towards Indira who was still clutching onto Michael's ragged black shirt and staring at her in recognition.

"It's the dean, You saved her."

'Mhmm.' Michael thought, watching how her eyes went back and forth between the shattered flaming ground and Indira, before putting two and two together and speaking aloud catching the others around who slowly stood back up after their ears no longer ringed, and zeroed in on him Michael could feel the many eyes staring at him, and hear the multiple murmurs filled with suprise and jealousy.

but a word did catch his ears 'Dean' go figure just as Michael was going to speak, she suddenly grabbed his hand and held it gently looking deeply in his eyes as that strange feeling arose again in him for a couple moments, Michael and this girl he never met a day in his life just stared at each other, her pale cheeks suddenly flushed with red as Michael left eyebrow rose before she raised his hand sky high.

"He's a Hero!"

Her voice echoed, silencing everyone for just a second it was radio silent, Then a loud shout came after coming from a tall white toned boy, with bleached white blonde hair jumping in excitement, dressed in flashy yellow and white shirt with white pants and shoes he punched his fist In the air.

"Yeah!"

Like a switch flicking, Everyone followed Thundering noise filled the skies, as the girl who started all of it smiled proudly while Michael grimaced internally.

"Hero!"

"Hero!"

Unbeknownst to Michael multipe figures hidden in the crowd stared at him with envy, especially a certain Brown haired boy Who was the son of two popular Heroes widely known for their supersonic flight and super strength who was currently clenching his fist.

Indira on the other hand, released Michael smiling fondly while she thought something that made her smile bigger with a hint of something more.

The chanting and shouting lasted a while, only ending when Indira herself speaking out saying she wasn't feeling to good and needing to be checked out, with an understanding the crowd broke apart while the girl who Michael still didn't know her name decided to tag along.

"I'm Gwen by the way, sorry for not introducing myself earlier."

Walking side by side a little to close to Michael liking she leaned on michael arm abit, who nodded.

"Michael."

He couldn't say what he was feeling right now about that whole little thing but it was strange, and he found himself saying that word a lot lately from the corner of his eyes he noticed Indira, who was oddly silent yet kept that same smiling facade she had on listening in on their conversation or if that what you call when a person just nods and the other speaks, but that wasent the only thing Michael found himself noticing, from multiple looks from people who where sitting down on the grass and flashes of light that came from those small rectangular boxes from people passing him, everything was strange and then came her.

Michael focus shifted to the happy girl that leaned on his arm, smiling brightly towards him, Gwen the girl who was now not nameless in his mind who was being oddly talkative to him.

"Michael huh, that's a nice name like the archangel right."

"Sure."

Every time he spoke her smile would get brighter, why Michael didn't have a clue, hearing her hum lightly he wondered just how long it would take to get to where ever Indira was going, and shake this girl off he didn't have any problems with her it was just something was off about her, but his neck hairs didn't rise it just left him more confused.

"A natural leader then, Your parents must be so proud of you!"

Michael heart pumped once, His foot stomped just a little lighter, and his eyebrows furrowed for just a second.

'Parents.'

His mood instantly plunged, while besides him indira eyes widened turning her head fast her voice caught Gwen's attention before she could notice the change in Michael she hurriedly spoke.

"Deary, I just remember the freshman Entrance ceremony is about to began, I wouldn't want you to miss it because of me."

"No it's fine Ms. Shetty-"

"No no no, I couldn't quite possibly bare it if you miss it, it's a once in a life time experience after all."

Indira strained her words, while Gwen tried to dissuade her.

"But-"

"Is okay go along, I have Michael here to protect little old me."

Indira said internally frustrated with Gwen, who paused at the mention of Michael before slowly nodding, with a half smile on her face Gwen spoke.

"Okay, I hope you feel better soon Ms. Shetty."

Indira smiled brightly and nodded, while Gwen looked up at Michael and hugged him under the shocked look of Indira.

"Goodbye my hero, make sure the dean gets there safe."

She added with a flustered face before running off in the way they came from, with a giant smile on her face while giggling.

'My word the balls these girls have on them, these days.'

Indira thought, while looking at the silent Michael.

'A second later she could've been dead already.'
