Beta Micheal burst through the door of Seer Namarie's quarters, out of breath and frantic with worry. "Seer Namarie, please, You have to help me. Elijah is dying, and I don't know what to do."

Seer Namarie looked at the man standing breathlessly in front of her with concern, she had no ideal what could make the calm and composed beta to be running around wildly and breathless.

"Seer Namarie, please," Beta Michael begged, "You have to save Elijah's life."

Seer Namarie looked confused as she had no ideal who Elijah is, she knew all the pack members and none of them goes by the name of Elijah ,she stood up from her seat and leaned forward, "Who is Elijah?"

"Elijah is my mate, and He was poisoned by the Shadow Clan pack. The pack healer couldn't find any antidote to the poison."

Seer Namarie's eyes widened in surprise, " you've found your mate,"

Beta Michael Nodded," I just found him and now he's dying please you have to help me. I'll do anything, just please save my mate's life."

Seer Namarie reached out and place a gentle hand on Beta Michael's shoulder, "Get up, Beta Michael, I'll try my best to save your mate life."

Beta Michael quickly scrambled to his feet, "Thank you, seer , thank you ."

Seer Namarie told Beta Michael to wait, and she went inside her bedroom, bringing out a vial containing a greenish potion.

"Let's go , we have to act quick if we're going to save your mate's life. This Potion has the ability to cure any poison," she explained, gesturing at beta Micheal to follow her .

A flower of how bloomed in beta Micheal's heart and together they rushed to the pack hospital.

When they arrived at the hospital they found Elijah screaming in agony, the poison has already started to take hold of his body.

Beta Michael rushed to Elijah's side, but Elijah couldn't recognize him and he snarled and growl at him, his eyes wild and unfocused. The veins in Elijah's body popped out looking as if they would burst anytime.

Alpha Thane moved closer to helped Beta Michael restrain Elijah to the bed, they held him down as Seer Namarie poured the potion into Elijah's mouth.

Once the potion got into Elijah's mouth, he began to thrashed around on the bed, his body convulsing in agony. He held his throat, trying to claw out his throat, his eyes were red , bulging out of his head. His claws came out, including his fangs, and he let out a blood-curdling scream.

Beta Michael and Alpha Thane held him down, trying to restrain him so he won't hurt himself as he thrashed about. Seer Namarie stood by one side , her eyes fixed on Elijah's face, waiting for the potion to start working.

After thrashing around for what seemed like an eternity, Elijah's body began to slowed it movement until he went completely still completely. The machines surrounding him began to beep, and a flatline appeared on the screen of the monitor.

Beta Michael's look at the monitor in horror and back at Elijah's body, he turned to seer Namarie, " what is going on please , can you tell me why Elijah isn't moving anymore,? Is the potion finally working

" I couldn't hear his heart beat, he's not moving, i thought you said the potion could cure any type of poison?" he demanded, his words tumbling out in a frantic rush. "What happened? Why is he not moving? What is going on? Please, please, do something!"

Seer Namarie reached out to place a gentle hand on Beta Michael's arm. "I don't know what's happening," she admitted, "The potion should have worked. I've never seen it fail before."

Hot tears ran down Beta Micheal face, He grab Seer Namarie's clothes, holding onto them as if they were a lifeline. "Please," he whispered, his voice choking with emotion. "You have to do something! You can't just stand there and do nothing. Elijah is dying!and I need your help to save him."

Seer Namarie turned to Alpha thane not knowing what else to do .

Alpha Thane reached out and placed a comforting hand on Beta Michael's back. But Beta Michael was beyond consolation. He pushed Alpha Thane's hand away, his eyes blazing with desperation.

"Nooooo!, don't touch me! I don't want to hear anything! This can't be happening! Elijah, no! Don't leave me!"

He turned back to the bed , his hands gripping Elijah's limp form. He started pressing his chest, as if trying to will life back into his body.

"Come on, Elijah!" He shouted, tears choking his voice. "Don't do this to me! Fight, Elijah! Fight!"

Alpha Thane tried to intervene once more , but Beta Michael pushed him away. "No, Alpha Thane! I won't let him go! I won't let him die! There are many things I haven't done with him! I haven't told him I love him , I haven't told him that am happy he's my mate."

Seer Namarie hugged beta Micheal from behind. "Stop please,You're not helping Elijah. You're only hurting yourself."

But Beta Michael was beyond reason. He was consumed by grief and desperation, and he wasn't ready to let go of Elijah.

Not minding all the words seer Namarie was say, he continued pressing Elijah's chest his hands moving swiftly and precisely as he continue giving him CPR, hoping against hope that it could bring him back. He compressed Elijah's chest, counting out the rhythm in his mind, and then breathed into his mouth.

Minutes ticked by, and Beta Michael continued to administer CPR, his hands moving tirelessly as he refused to give up. But despite his best efforts, Elijah remained still and unresponsive.

Seeing that Elijah isn't responding Beta Michael's strength gave out, and he collapsed with his head buried in Elijah's chest. He screamed in agony, the sound tearing from his throat like a wild animal.

"Nooooo!" he wailed, pulling Elijah's limp body close to his own. "Elijah, no! Don't leave me! Please, come back to me! Don't die ,please! I need you !"

His body shook with sobs as he held Elijah's lifeless body, his heart shattering into a million pieces. He felt like he was dying, like a part of him had been ripped away.

His wolf, sensing its mate's death, let out a mournful howl, whimpering in darkness as it dawn on him that his mate is dead.

Beta Michael's human and wolf sides were united in their despair, both screaming in agony as they mourned the loss of their destined mate. The pain was so intense that it felt like it was going to consume them whole, leaving nothing but a hollow shell behind.
