Beta Michael held Elijah's lifeless body close, his tears falling onto Elijah's cold skin as he mourned the loss of his mate. He rocked him back and forth, his body shaking with sobs, as he whispered Elijah's name over and over again.

Alpha Thane and Seer Namarie just stood beside each other not knowing what to do, They couldn't find words to comfort Beta Michael,They simply stood there, not saying anything their presence showing their support and condolences,a reminder that beta Micheal wasn't alone in his grief.

Seer Namarie's eyes were cast downward, her hands clasped together in a gesture of respect and mourning. She blamed herself for Elijah's death, her mind racing with the same questions and emotions that Beta Michael was experiencing,she wished she could wake Elijah up but she knew she can't, no one has the power to wake the dead.

As they stood there, the only sound in the room was Beta Michael's quiet sobbing, his body shaking with the weight of his loss.

He quickly stopped crying and listened carefully, he placed his ears more closely to Elijah's chest, and the heartbeat grew louder, beating faster, Beta Micheal couldn't believe his ears so he looked down at Elijah's body, and his eyes widened in surprise. Elijah's cold skin has started to warm up, a soft pink glow spreading across his cheeks.

Beta Michael's breath caught in his throat as he looked at Elijah's face. And in a moment that seemed like a miracle, Elijah's eyes flickered open.
