The Alpha Soulbound Mate [BL]

Chapter 30: Chapter 31:Saying Goodbye

After his conversation on the phone Kaiden returned to the table, He cleared his throat to get Alpha Thane's attention.

"Alpha Thane, I'm sorry to interrupt, but I need to head back home today,I have an urgent matter to attend to."

Alpha Thane's raised his eyebrows in concern. "Is everything okay, Kaiden?"

Kaiden nodded, though his expression remained tense. "Yes, Alpha. I just need to take care of something."

With a nod, Alpha Thane dismissed Kaiden. "Go take care of your business Kaiden,I really appreciate you coming here for my son I'll have my beta prepared the plane for your departure."

Kaiden nodded and excused himself from the table, his eyes falling on Aiden as he made his way out of the dining hall.

Aiden, who had been watching Kaiden with growing concern, immediately dropped his food, not caring about the reaction of the people at the table. He pushed back his chair and ran after Kaiden, his heart racing with worry.

He caught up to Kaiden in the hallway, calling his name, Kaiden turned around and waited for him, holding out his hand. Aiden took it without hesitation, and Kaiden pulled him into a gentle stride.

Together, they walked away from the dining hall, their footsteps quiet on the carpeted floor.

Getting to the visitor bedroom, Kaiden pushed open the door and gestured for Aiden to enter. Aiden did so, his eyes locked on Kaiden.

Sitting down on the bed, Kaiden gently pulled Aiden onto his lap. Aiden settled into the comfortable position, his arms wrapping around Kaiden's neck.

"I'm sorry, Aidie, I need to leave earlier than planned. The pack needs me, and it's urgent."

Aiden's looked at him with concern. "What's going on?"

Kaiden took a deep breath. "The council of Elders called for me, and I need to be there by tomorrow."

Aiden looked at him still confused.

Seeing that Aiden isn't getting his point he explain further. "My 18th birthday is next month, and I'll be turning into my wolf for the first time. Naturally I should have turned before being my pack Alpha but it wasn't so due to my father untimely death, I had to step in to protect my pack and my father's legacy. The pack is busy preparing for the ceremony, and I need to be there. Plus, I need to graduate from college and receive my degrees so that my position as Blackwood Corporation CEO can be official."

Aiden nodded understandingly. "I get it. You have a lot of responsibilities."

Kaiden smiled, feeling a sense of relief. "I promise to call you every day, no matter how busy I am. I'll make sure to keep you updated on everything."

Aiden's face lit up with a smile. "I'll hold you to that."

Without another word, Kaiden leaned in, his lips meeting Aiden's in a tender kiss. Aiden melted into the kiss, his arms tightening around Kaiden's neck.

Breaking the kiss Kaiden smiled. "I'll get going now. Will you help me pack?"

Aiden nodded, sliding off Kaiden's lap. Together, they began to gather Kaiden's belongings, packing them neatly into his suitcase.

After they finished packing the suitcase, Kaiden headed outside to enter the car that would take him to Silvermist Private Hanger with Aiden behind him. stepping out of the mansion, he saw Alpha Thane, Luna Lila, Ryder, Beta Michael, and Ryker, standing in front of the mansion, ready to bid him goodbye.

Aiden, moved closer to his father and pleaded to let him accompany Kaiden to their private hanger. Alpha Thane hesitated for a moment, then reluctantly agreed, but only if Ryker followed them for safety purposes.

Aiden's face lit up with excitement as he hugged his father tightly. "Thank you, Dad!" he screamed , before rushing over to Kaiden's side.

climbing into the car together, Aiden slid into the backseat beside kaiden and wrapped his arms around kaiden waist, resting his head on his shoulder.

Kaiden smiled, and he wrapped his own arms around Aiden to hold him close.

Ryker, who had been instructed to follow them, climbed into the front seat of the car, beside the driver.

As they drove away from the mansion, Aiden snuggled deeper into Kaiden's side, feeling a sense of comfort and security in his presence. He knew that Kaiden had to leave, but he was grateful for the extra time they had together.

As the car pulled away from the mansion, Kaiden looked outside the window not knowing that he won't be back here again atlease not untill after Ten years

The car pulled up to the private hanger, and Kaiden could see the sleek, black jet with the sliver mist pack emblem waiting on the runway. He felt a mix of emotions, he knew he had to leave and attend to his pack but he didn't want to leave Aiden side .

Aiden, as if sensing Kaiden emotions, clung to him more tightly as they stepped out of the car and Kaiden also wrapped his arms around him , holding him close as they stood there for a moment.

"I'll come back to check on you after my coming of age ceremony," Kaiden whispered into Aiden's ear. "And I promise to call you as soon as I land."

Aiden nodded, his eyes shining with tears. "I'll miss you," he whispered with his voice shaking .

Kaiden's heart ached as he saw the tears in Aiden eyes. He hugged him tightly, trying to memorize the feel of Aiden's body against his.

As they pulled back, Kaiden smiled at him, trying to reassure him. "I'll miss you too, and I'll be calling you every day, please take care of yourself and make sure you eat healthy okay."

Aiden nodded, his eyes still shining with tears. "I will. Just Be careful, Kaiden."

With one last glance at Aiden, Kaiden turned and boarded the plane. Settling into his seat, he looked out the window, watching as Aiden and Ryker stood on the runway, waving goodbye.

With a final wave, Kaiden settled back into his seat, and fastened his seat belt as the plane took off into the sky.
