Chapter 29: Chapter 30:A Temporary Goodbye
After Kaiden left his room, Aiden couldn't sleep he kept replaying their erotic moment in his mind , everytime he remembered Kaiden telling him he loved him he'll felt the sensation of a million butterflies fluttering in his stomach.
His mind kept racing with thoughts of Kaiden. He couldn't help but wonder what the other boy was doing at that very moment. Was he sleeping peacefully, or was he, too, lying awake with thoughts of him?
As the minutes ticked by, Aiden's restlessness grew, He kept tossing and turning in bed. He curled up into a ball, trying to will himself to sleep, but it was no use. His heart yearned for something more, something he couldn't quite put his finger on.
After what felt like an eternity, Aiden finally threw off the covers and decided to sneak into Kaiden's bedroom. He carefully made his way out of his room and down the hallway to the second floor where Kaiden's room was suited. He hesitated in front of the door for a moment, his heart pounding wildly in his chest, before slowly turning the door knob and slipped inside.
Kaiden felt a subtle shift in the air as his bedroom door creaked open. His senses immediately went on high alert, and he caught the familiar scent of Aiden wafting through the air. A slow smile spread across his face as he realized who was sneaking into his room.
Without making a sound, he pretended to be fast asleep, his eyes closed and his breathing steady. He felt a dip in the mattress beside him as Aiden carefully climbed into bed. Kaiden's heart flipped in his chest as he felt Aiden's soft and warm body curl up against his.
Not wasting a moment, he drew him closer, snuggling him into his chest. Aiden's body stiffened in surprise, and he looked up at Kaiden's wide open eyes.
"I thought you were asleep," he whispered.
Kaiden chuckled softly, his breath rustling against Aiden's hair. "I woke up the moment you opened the door," he whispered back.
Feeling Aiden's body relaxed against his, he wrapped his arms around Aiden's slender body and asked, "What happened?"
Feeling Aiden's shoulders shrug against him. "I couldn't sleep. So I thought I should come and cuddle with you."
Kaiden's heart swelled with affection, and he tightened his hold on Aiden. "You can always come to me when you can't sleep," he whispered, his lips brushing against Aiden's ear.
As Aiden snuggled deeper into his chest, Kaiden let out a low groan. "Aiden, you're pushing my limits," he whispered, his voice husky with restraint.
Aiden's response was to nuzzle his face into Kaiden's neck, his lips brushing against the sensitive skin. Kaiden's eyes fluttered closed as he struggled to maintain his self-control.
"Aidie, stop," he whispered, "You're not making it easy for me to not touch you."
Aiden smiled quietly and continued his slow torture on Kaiden. He continued to kiss and nibble at Kaiden's neck, sending shivers down his spine. Kaiden's hands instinctively went to his hips, his fingers digging gently into the soft flesh.
With a soft chuckle, Kaiden gently spanked Aiden's bottom squeezing it lightly, the sound echoed softly through the room. "Stop being naughty, Aidie," he whispered, "Go to sleep."
Aiden's smile quietly, his lips curving upward in a mischievous grin. But as Kaiden's hands continued to caress his hips, a contented sigh escape his mouth and his eyes began to droop, his eyelids growing heavy with sleep and he snuggled deeper into Kaiden chest, his body relaxed.
Together, they slept, wrapped in each other's arms, their hearts beating in tandem as they drifted off into the night.
Aiden woke up to the sound of birds chirping and the morning light creeping into the room, with his back turned to Kaiden's chest he can't check to see if he's awake or not but he could felt Kaiden's arm wrapping snugly around his waist, holding him close. deciding to snuggle closer to him, he pushed his bottom more closely against Kaiden's groin.
His eyes widen and a gasped escaped his mouth as he felt something poking him from behind. Aiden's eyes sparkled with amusement as he knew exactly what that was. He covered his mouth with both his hands trying to stifle his giggles.
He heard Kaiden groaned, his voice still raspy from sleep. "Aidie, what are you doing?"
Instead of answering, he simply wiggled his bottom again, pressing himself more firmly against Kaiden. He heard Kaiden took in a deep breath before pulling him closer, his arm tightening around his waist.
"Good morning," Kaiden whispered, his voice thick with desire. And Aiden felt a shiver run down his spine as Kaiden's warm breath caressed his ear. He tried to shyly slip out of bed, but Kaiden was quick to react. He pulled him back, pinning him to the bed with his body.
"Let's sleep some more,"
Aiden's face flushed with embarrassment. "I need to go, My father will kill me if he finds me in your bed."
Kaiden's eyes flickered open, and he gazed at Aiden with an amusement look on his face . "He won't kill you," he said smirking at Aiden. With a reluctant sigh, he released Aiden from his grasp. But before letting him go completely, he pulled him into a kiss. Aiden's lips parted in surprise, and he took advantage of the moment, deepening the kiss.
As they broke apart for air, Aiden's face was flushed. "I'll see you later,"
Kaiden nodded, still looking a bit dazed from the kiss.
Aiden quickly scrambled out of bed and made a hasty exit, leaving Kaiden to watch him go with a satisfied smile.
After Aiden left his room, Kaiden stood up from the bed and stepped into the shower letting the warm water wash away the remnants of sleep.
Once he was finished,he dressed in comfortable clothes and made his way to the dinning hall, the scent of freshly cooked food drawing him in.
Kaiden's eyes scanned the room, taking in the familiar faces of the pack members. He spotted Alpha Thane and Luna Lila at the head of the table, and he made his way over to greet them.
"Good morning, Alpha," Kaiden greeted them , his voice respectful. "Luna."
Alpha Thane nodded at him, a hint of a smile on his face. "Kaiden. Good morning."
Luna Lila smiled warmly at him. "Good morning, Kaiden. Did you sleep well?"
He nodded, his eyes scanning the room once more. he spotted Aiden, sitting beside his elder brother and some of the other pack members. Their eyes met, and Kaiden couldn't help but smirk.
Aiden's face flushed, and he looked down shyly, his hair falling across his face. Kaiden's smirk grew wider, feeling a thrill of excitement at the memory of earlier.
With a nod to Alpha Thane and Luna Lila, he made his way over to the buffet table, his eyes never straying far from Aiden's blush-stained face.
The pack members began to eat, the dinner hall filled with the sounds of chatter and clinking silverware. Kaiden sat down not to far from Aiden , loading his plate with a variety of breakfast foods. He took a bite of his eggs, savoring the taste.
Feeling his cell phone vibrating in his pocket, he took out the phone and frowned immediately he looked at the screen.
"Excuse me," he said quickly, pushing back his chair and standing up. "I need to take this call."
Aiden's eyes followed him as he walked away from the table, a concerned look on his face. He watched as Kaiden stepped out of the dinner hall, his phone pressed to his ear.
As Kaiden disappeared from view, Aiden's gaze lingered on him. He couldn't shake the feeling that something was off, and he found himself wondering who was on the other end of that phone call.
