After spending some time with Aiden in the garden, Kaiden decided to seek out Alpha Thane, to know exactly what happened that cause Aurora's death .

As he walked to Alpha thane office , his mind was still reeling from the news of Aurora's passing.

As he entered the office, Alpha Thane looked up from the papers on his desk, his expression somber. "Kaiden, thank you for coming."

Kaiden nodded, his eyes fixed on Alpha thane. "What happened ?" he asked, his voice laced with concern Please, "tell me everything."

Alpha Thane took a deep breath before speaking. "Aurora died saving Aiden's life during the attack by Alpha Kael , the alpha of Shadow Claw pack. He launched a surprise attack on us, catching us off guard. He attacked when he knew I wasn't around."

Kaiden's eyes widened in shock. "Alpha Kael of the shadow claw pack?, but I haven't hear about them for a long time.

Alpha Thane nodded, " I also haven't heard about them since, but it seem they are in hiding somewhere ready to strike any pack."

Kaiden's eyes narrowed, his jaw clenched in anger. "Alpha kael has been a thorn in our side for years," he growled. "What's being done to bring him to justice?"

Alpha Thane sit back on his chair and fold his arms together . "I plan to take this matter to the Elders Council. I'll demand that they put a bounty on the Shadow Claw pack. They're in hiding, but we'll find them. And when we do, they'll pay for what they've done."

"I'm with you, Alpha Thane. I'll do everything in my power to help bring Kael and his pack to justice." Kaiden assured Alpha thane.

Alpha Thane looked at Kaiden's, a hint of gratitude in his expression. "Thank you, Kaiden. I knew I could count on you. Together, we'll make sure that Kael pays for his crimes."

Kaiden nodded. "We'll get him, Alpha Thane. I promise you."

After his meeting with Alpha Thane, Kaiden was escorted to a guest bedroom on the second floor of Alpha Thane mansion.beta Micheal led the way, pointing out various rooms and amenities followed by two maids carrying Kaiden luggage.

"This is the guest wing," beta Micheal explained, opening the door to a spacious bedroom with a large window that overlooked the surrounding forest. "You'll be staying here during your visit. Make yourself at home."

Kaiden nodded his thanks, taking in the comfortable-looking bed and the large dresser against one wall. The room was decorated in a warm, rustic style that reflected the pack's connection to the natural world.

"Is there anything I can get for you?" Beta Micheal asked, hovering in the doorway.

Kaiden shook his head, feeling a sense of exhaustion wash over him. "No, thank you. I'm just going to rest for a bit."

Beta Micheal nodded. "Of course. You must be tired from your journey. If you need anything, just let us know. We'll be happy to help."

With that said, beta Micheal closed the door behind him, leaving kaiden to his thought. Taking a deep breath, Kaiden felt a sense of relief washed over him. He had been traveling for hours, and the thought of a warm bath and a change of clothes was incredibly appealing.

Walking over to the dresser he opened it, revealing a selection of clothes that the maids had hanged earlier . He chose a simple white t-shirt and a pair of comfortable jeans, then he headed into the bathroom to take a bath.

Getting to the bathroom, he reached out and turned the shower handle , the sound of rushing water filled the air .stepping under the shower the warm spray enveloped him like a gentle caress. the water cascaded down his body, he felt his muscles relaxing , the tension melting away with each passing moment. He closed his eyes, letting the water wash over him, taking a deep breath, he felt the stress and fatigue of the day begin to seep out of his pores.

After soaking in the shower till his heart content,he got out of the bath, feeling refreshed and revitalized. He dried himself off and got dressed, then walked back to the bedroom.

On getting to the bedroom, he was surprised to see Aiden sitting on the bed, waiting for him.his eyes fixed on him, and for a moment, they just stared at each other.

Kaiden's heart swelled with emotion as he looked at Aiden. He could see the visible pain and sadness on Aiden's face.

"Aiden," he called softly, walking over to the bed. "What happen ? Are you alright,?"

Aiden nodded, his eyes never leaving Kaiden's face. " nothing happened,I just thought you've already left.," he said, averting his eye from Kaiden's face.

Kaiden sat down beside him on the bed, and he pulled him into his embrace, bitting him gently on his earlobe, " I'm not going anywhere anytime soon, I want to stay here with you a little bit longer ." he whispered sweetly into Aiden's ear making his ear turned pink .

Seeing Aiden ears turning red, Kaiden smile broaden, he pressed a soft kiss on his forehead gently coaxing him to lie down on the bed, and Aiden didn't resist, his body seeming to melt into the mattress.

Sitting down beside him, kaiden gently lifted Aiden's head and placed it on his lap. Aiden's eyes fluttered closed, and he let out a soft sigh, his body relaxing into Kaiden's gentle touch.

Kaiden smiled, his heart filled with love and compassion for Aiden. He began to stroke Aiden's hair, his fingers gently combing through the soft strands.

"Your hair is so soft, Aiden," he whispered, "It smells nice too. Like Lavender and honey."

Aiden's eyes remained closed, a small smile playing on his lips. He seemed to be savoring the gentle touch and soothing words, his body relaxing further into Kaiden's lap.
