Chapter 19: Chapter 19: Fishing Fiasco & Shiny Surprises

The morning sun glowed soft and warm over a tranquil lake surrounded by willows and wildflowers. Joseph set up his portable folding chair, plopped down a cooler box of berry juice, and adjusted Rotom's hover height for the best wide-angle view.

"Good morning, EeTvee fam!" he greeted, casting his fishing rod with an exaggerated swoosh. "Today's stream is all about chill vibes, fresh air, and maybe… catching something big."

Tyrunt sat beside him, claws tapping on the dock impatiently. Bean was perched on the tackle box — which he clearly thought was his personal throne — and Riolu meditated cross-legged on a smooth rock, pretending he wasn't keeping an eye on everyone.

Chat: "Bean's the bait, huh?" "Tyrunt's gonna belly flop, bet." "Riolu's vibe is: 'You fools, behave.'"

Joseph reached for his snack pack — a berry scone he'd brought to share. He broke off a tiny piece and handed it to Bean, who squeaked happily. But Bean, being Bean, dropped a crumb in the tackle box… right onto the shiny lure collection.

One moment: calm lake. Next moment: Bean's hat slid down, he bounced after the crumb, and — plop! — a lure clinked off the dock, splashing into the water with Bean's tiny squeal echoing after it.

Joseph scrambled to grab him. "Bean! You're not the bait! Get back up here!"

Bean bobbed up, squeaking indignantly with the shiny lure dangling from his tiny teeth. He swam to the dock, climbed back up — and presented the dripping lure like a trophy.

Riolu facepawed. Tyrunt snorted so hard he splashed the dock.

Chat: "Bean's officially the Shiny Magnet." "Give that mushroom a medal." "This is quality content, Joseph."

"Alright, calm down, guys. Everyone just relax…" Joseph said, laughing.

Tyrunt was staring at the water, tail wagging. Then, with a huff, he waddled to the edge and stuck one claw in. His eyes widened at the cool sensation — and without warning, the prehistoric menace cannonballed off the dock.

KER-SPLASH!

The dock rocked. Joseph nearly fell into the lake, while Bean clung to his hat like a tiny pirate captain on a sinking ship. Riolu lunged forward, grabbing Joseph's shirt before he tumbled over.

Tyrunt resurfaced, paddling frantically — his stubby arms making big slapping sounds. His tail swung like a paddle boat gone rogue.

Chat: "TYRUNT = LAPRAS CONFIRMED." "10/10 dive form." "Bean is so done."

"Buddy!" Joseph shouted. "You're not a water-type! Paddle this way!"

Riolu hopped in, graceful as ever, and guided Tyrunt back to the dock. Tyrunt heaved himself up, looking soggy but very proud of his 'swim.' Bean squeaked scoldingly at him, tapping his snout with a tiny leaf.

Just as Joseph settled again — fishing rod in hand, line back in the water, Tyrunt snoring at his feet — Bean started squeaking wildly. He was pointing at the bobber, which had started tugging.

Joseph grabbed the rod. "Woah, we've got a bite!"

He tugged. Whatever was on the other end pulled back — hard.

Chat: "SHINY?!?" "Gyarados incoming." "Bean's shiny luck strikes again."

The water churned. Out popped… not a Magikarp, not a Goldeen, but a sleek Shiny Feebas. Its scales glowed golden under the sun. Bean squeaked so loud Joseph thought his eardrums would pop.

"Are you kidding me?!" Joseph gasped. "A SHINY?!"

He scrambled for a Poké Ball — but the Feebas flopped powerfully, tugging the line to the dock's edge. Tyrunt barked awake, stomped after it — crack! The rod snapped, the line snapped, and the Feebas vanished under the dock with a splash.

Riolu facepalmed for the second time today.

Chat: "NOOOOOO! Shiny escape!" "Tyrunt jinxed it." "Bean's luck giveth and taketh away."

Joseph collapsed back into his chair, half-laughing, half-mourning the lost Feebas. Tyrunt curled up to nap again, still dripping lake water all over everyone. Bean rummaged in the tackle box, clearly searching for another shiny lure to toss in. Riolu, ever the responsible one, confiscated the entire lure tray and moved it well out of Bean's reach.

"Lesson of the day," Joseph told the stream, dripping with comedic resignation. "Never trust your luck when Bean's involved. Always keep your rod strong. And never let Tyrunt think he's a Lapras."

Bean squeaked dramatically, hopped on Joseph's shoulder, and posed for Rotom like the hero he believed he was.

Chat: "Bean did nothing wrong." "Protect the shiny magnet." "Next time: Net Fishing Only."

As the sun dipped lower, Joseph signed off for the day — snack crumbs everywhere, Tyrunt snoring so loud that even the lake rippled, and Riolu sitting guard like a knight with Bean under one arm.

"Thanks for hanging out at the lake with us, EeTvee fam. Next time, we're bringing a bigger net, a stronger rod, and maybe… a lifeguard for Tyrunt."

"More fishing streams plz!" "Give Bean his own lure line." "When's the next EeTvee Fest update?!"

Joseph laughed, waving to the camera as Rotom spun the "Stream Ending" animation. "See you tomorrow, legends! Stay shiny — unlike our Feebas."
