Chapter 18: Chapter 18: Tyrunt’s Spicy Regret & The EeTvee Mukbang

"Morning, EeTvee fam! Who's hungry?" Joseph asked, grinning at the camera while adjusting Rotom's angle.

Behind him, Tyrunt was drooling over a portable grill setup, Bean was perched on an overturned lunchbox like a tiny hat-wearing boss, and Riolu, surprisingly, was helping the guest chef lay out ingredients.

Their guest today? Chef Caramelle, the local food truck legend who wanted to test new festival recipes. Her apron was covered in sauce stains, and her hair was tied in a giant bow shaped like a loaf of bread.

"EeTvee Fest needs legendary eats!" she said dramatically, raising a spatula like a sword. "We're gonna test sweet, spicy, and weird. And your team? They're the official taste testers!"

Chat: "TYRUNT VS SPICY? Oh no." "Bean about to steal everything." "Wait, Riolu cooks???"

Chef Caramelle placed down a tray of berry tarts. She turned her back for two seconds. Bean teleported (or so it seemed) from Joseph's shoulder to the tray. By the time she turned back, there was one tart left — and Bean sat there, innocent hat tilted, cheeks stuffed like a tiny hamster.

"Bean! You didn't even wait for the stream taste test!" Joseph scolded, but the chat was already rolling.

"HAT LORD TAKES WHAT HE WANTS." "Look at that smug face." "Protect him at all costs."

Bean squeaked, posed for Rotom, and patted his belly. Zero remorse.

Riolu flicked Bean's head lightly, then handed the last tart to Tyrunt — who swallowed it in one bite.

Next, Caramelle pulled out her pride and joy: a batch of extra spicy pepper skewers. She offered one to Joseph.

"Uh, no thanks, I'm not ready to go viral for crying on stream," he said, laughing. "Tyrunt, though—?"

Tyrunt's eyes sparkled at the bright red peppers. He sniffed the skewer, huffed a small flame (showing off, obviously), then crunched it in one chomp.

There was a moment of silence.

Then Tyrunt's eyes widened. His cheeks puffed out. A tiny squeal escaped his giant mouth. He stomped in place, waving his little arms frantically.

Joseph scrambled for the berry juice. "Buddy! Here! It's okay!"

Riolu patted Tyrunt's snout sympathetically. Bean, now lounging on his food box throne, squeaked what sounded suspiciously like laughter.

Chat: "TYRUNT REGRETS LIFE." "Spicy speedrun fail." "Bean is so petty omg."

While Tyrunt recovered from his pepper meltdown, Caramelle started prepping her next test dish: a big bowl of rice topped with sweet honey berries and savory herbs. To everyone's shock, Riolu stepped in, pointing out the ratio was off.

"You… cook?" Joseph asked.

Riolu crossed his arms and nodded once — then tied a little bandana around his neck like a tiny chef. He adjusted the seasoning, stirred the pot, and taste-tested with perfect form. He even flicked a berry at Bean, who snatched it mid-air without blinking.

Chef Caramelle was speechless. "This Riolu has better instincts than my sous-chef back at the truck."

Chat: "RIOLU CHEF ARC???" "Look at Bean being served." "Hire him for EeTvee Fest Kitchen!"

When the bowl was done, Joseph took a bite on camera. "Mmmm — that's a 10/10. Chat, I need an emoji for Riolu the Chef. Immediately."

With the test dishes ready — rice bowls, berry tarts (what was left), fresh salads, and safe non-spicy skewers — Joseph spread out a picnic blanket under the trees. Tyrunt curled around him, Bean plopped himself smack in the middle, and Riolu sat with perfect posture, chopsticks in paw.

Rotom hovered overhead, catching every bite for the chat.

Joseph picked up his rice bowl. "Cheers to our first unofficial EeTvee Mukbang! Next time, we're feeding all of you too."

"THIS IS THE CONTENT WE NEEDED." "Riolu politely eating vs Tyrunt inhaling food 😂" "Bean stealing everyone's bites."

Bean, of course, did not wait. He waddled over to Tyrunt's bowl, took a chunk, then tried Riolu's next. Riolu blocked him with one paw while sipping soup, but Bean wriggled under his arm like a fuzzy gremlin.

Tyrunt, learning his lesson, sniffed each skewer carefully before eating. He kept shooting the pepper plate suspicious looks.

Between bites, Joseph read chat suggestions:

"Bring Spinda King as the festival mascot." "Bean needs his own snack stall — 'Bean's Berry Bites!'" "Hire Riolu to run a cooking show."

Chef Caramelle laughed. "If Riolu wants an internship, my kitchen's always open."

Riolu snorted, clearly unimpressed with the idea of working for anyone other than the squad.

Halfway through, Tyrunt burped a tiny flame, scaring Bean so bad he fell backward off his berry throne. Riolu immediately flicked Tyrunt's forehead. Tyrunt sulked, Bean squeaked revenge threats.

Chat: "IT'S A FOOD FIGHT WAITING TO HAPPEN." "Hire security: Riolu." "HAT LORD ALWAYS BOUNCES BACK."

Bellies full, Joseph leaned back against Tyrunt's warm side, Rotom hovering above to catch the group in their natural habitat of chaos and crumbs. Bean had a food baby, snoring with his little hat tilted over his face. Riolu, ever tidy, was already wiping down the leftovers.

Chef Caramelle gave Joseph a fist bump. "Your stream squad is insane — in a good way. EeTvee Fest is gonna be legendary."

"Only because you're gonna feed us," Joseph said with a grin.

The chat spammed "❤️❤️❤️" as Rotom flicked the stream outro graphic across the sunset sky.

"More Mukbangs soon!!" "Bean needs a cooking show next." "TYRUNT: NO MORE PEPPERS."
