At this moment, on Onigashima...

Kaido, still nursing injuries from the recent battle, sat brooding in his cavernous hall.

"Burr, boo, boo! Boo, boo, boo!"

The Den Den Mushi rang insistently. Kaido narrowed his eyes and picked it up with a grim frown.

"…What do you want?"

His voice was low and laced with irritation, a thick pressure of killing intent rolling off him.

"Kaido! Do you even know who you're speaking to?!"

The voice was sharp and full of authority. Kaido's expression darkened.

The Five Elder Stars...?

Saint Vochuli's tone was cold and calculated. "I heard... you recently suffered some unexpected damage."

Kaido grunted. "Hmph. What of it? What's your point?"

"Do you desire revenge?" Vochuli's voice lowered, more suggestive now.

Kaido's eyes flickered thoughtfully.

"…Go on."

"If you do, call this line again within three days," said Saint Vochuli. "You'll receive what you want."

But before Kaido could respond, a gust of blistering hot air swept through the cave—followed by a thunderous boom!

A massive explosion ripped through the side of the cavern, stone debris flying as the walls trembled.

Two figures appeared, calmly stepping through the dust and flame.

"Who dares—?!" Kaido stood up in fury, eyes locked on the intruders.

Recognition dawned.

"…Shen Yuan? What business do you have here?"

Shen Yuan gave a faint smile.

He flicked his fingers slightly, using a concentrated gravitational pull—Black Hole Attraction—to lift the Den Den Mushi from Kaido's grip.

Kaido's brows furrowed. The line was still open... and Saint Vochuli was still listening.

What the hell is he doing?

Feigning ignorance of the eavesdropper, Shen Yuan casually said:

"So... how's our agreement progressing?"

Kaido's breath hitched. But then he realized—

Ah... the seastone deal.

He responded smoothly. "It's in motion. Someone's already been dispatched."

The Five Elders, still listening, were stunned by the ambiguous phrasing.

What agreement? What's in motion?

Unaware of—or ignoring—the implications, Shen Yuan spoke with veiled menace:

"I'm here for a few pests. If I end up killing some of your men, don't hold it against me."

Kaido took a deep breath, keeping his rage in check.

"…Do as you like."

"Excellent."

Without another word, Shen Yuan crushed the Den Den Mushi into dust.

Saint Vochuli, now disconnected, sat in silence on the other end—Shen Yuan's parting words echoing in his mind.

Agreement...? Is this an alliance? A trap...?

Even Kaido didn't realize he'd been dragged into the crossfire of something bigger...

---

Wano Country – Rabbit Bowl Prison

Here, every day, prisoners toiled in backbreaking labor. Their rights were trampled. Hope did not exist.

But Shen Yuan was already there.

Walking calmly to the gate, he spoke without emotion to a low-level jailer.

"Tell your warden to come out."

The guard, confused and irritated, scoffed. "Who the hell are you supposed to be?"

Shen Yuan raised an eyebrow and glanced at Enel.

In a blur, Enel flashed forward. His golden trident cleaved through the air with the weight of a storm—Raijin Halberd Strike!

The jailer's head fell silently to the ground.

"I guess he couldn't see clearly. How about you? Call your boss. I won't ask again."

The other guards were paralyzed with fear.

One trembling underling turned and bolted into the prison to alert the warden.

"…Master, why don't we just break in? It's easier," Enel muttered.

Shen Yuan shook his head. "That would draw more attention."

Enel fell silent.

Moments later, a large man approached. Long black hair, a thick mustache, and the image of a mechanical elephant strapped to his chest. He was massive and broad-shouldered.

"Lord Shen Yuan, right? Master Queen told me you'd be coming."

It was Babanuki, Warden of the Rabbit Bowl.

He bowed deeply.

"Please, have a seat."

Shen Yuan sat without hesitation.

"You're?"

"Babanuki, Warden of Rabbit Bowl. You may call me Xiaoba."

"Alright then, Xiaoba. I heard there's a prisoner named Kawamatsu locked up here?"

Babanuki nodded. "Yes… still alive, despite the years."

"What about a skinny old man?"

Babanuki scratched his head. "Hmm… I believe there's someone like that too…"

"Bring them both. I need them."

Though confused, Babanuki complied.

Soon, two prisoners were dragged into the room, shackled with seastone cuffs, heavy and barely walking.

"Sir, these are the two."

"Good. You may leave."

Babanuki exited with the guards. Only Shen Yuan and Enel remained.

One prisoner had wild orange hair, green skin, webbed hands, and the appearance of a kappa. He wore a conical straw hat and carried himself with quiet dignity.

"You must be Kawamatsu the Kappa, of the Nine Red Scabbards."

Kawamatsu's eyes widened in disbelief. His body shook. "Wh-what did you just say?!"

The other was thin, elderly, with flame-like blue hair and a beard to match. He wore an orange scarf and sported tattoos resembling a vest.

"You must be Hyogoro of the Flower—the former yakuza boss of the Flower Capital."

Hyogoro stiffened, struck speechless by the revelation.

They had both suspected something was happening from the guards' murmurs... but not this.

Shen Yuan sat up straight.

"I know exactly who you are. And in case you're wondering, I am the current vice-captain of the Whitebeard Pirates."

Kawamatsu's heart skipped a beat.

This man wasn't just powerful—he was historically tied to Wano's late hero, Oden.

"…Why… why are you here?"

Shen Yuan's eyes darkened.

"Because I intend to kill Kaido. And I need you."

He unleashed a sudden wave of Haoshoku Haki—Conqueror's Burst. The entire room shuddered.

Wind ripped through their faces. Cold sweat poured down their backs.

"Do you understand the gap between us? If I wanted you dead, you'd be ash already."

Enel leaned closer. "Master… working with them is too risky. We—"

Shen Yuan slapped his hand away, glaring.

"Absolutely not! Oden was a friend of ours! I won't forgive Kaido!"

Both Kawamatsu and Hyogoro gasped.

"Shen Yuan…? The one who attacked Enies Lobby and fought Kaido, Big Mom, and King all at once…?!"

"Yes!" Kawamatsu said, still in awe. "I overheard the guards! They say you stood toe-to-toe with monsters and never backed down!"

Hyogoro's mouth hung open.

Shen Yuan nodded.

"Now you understand. I'm not here for small talk.

You two will help me from inside.

Together, we will restore Wano... and crown Kozuki Momonosuke."

His final thought was grim: Cat Viper and Inuarashi haven't surfaced. And Momonosuke—where exactly did he end up after that time jump? No one knows.

But Shen Yuan had no plans to wait.

This would be the beginning of the storm.
