The rest of the lessons went on smoothly and I taught her the dance moves for the talent show, even though we were nowhere near getting it right, there's always tomorrow.

Before I left she made a request for me to teach her how to paint so I'll be adding that to my to-do list for Suzy while I opened my notepad and checked off my first assignment with Sebastian.

Believe it or not, I had over a hundred lists of activities to choose from! Each of them was properly crafted to create a spark between us! So none of my actions are by accident, they are all meticulously accounted for because I can't afford to fail!

The next day came faster than expected and my stay at home has gotten much better since Regulus announced my marriage. Maybe they felt I would soon be out of their hair but they suddenly reduced their hostility towards me.

I assembled to work in the morning even though the dinner was all I could think of! I barely got any sleep out of anticipation. It wasn't excitement or anything of that sort. A better description would be fear of the unknown! I was basically freaking out internally!

Fast forward to the close of my shift with Suzy the head maid came to inform us of Sebastian's order.

"Everything needed to get you both ready is present all we ask for is your cooperation"

When she said this, I replied with a casual nod but I didn't see what was coming! The preparation process was a full-blown makeover and by the time they were done, I finally believed in the saying that an ugly duckling could morph into a swan!

The girl with all the grace and piousness in the mirror was me. I wouldn't believe it if they showed me a picture but it was me in the red dress. I thought my figure was completely gone from growing thinner by the day but this dress proved me wrong. My shape was right there, sitting clear as day and making the dress look even more stunning.

"It's time to head down, Miss"

I nodded and held Suzy's hands as we descended the huge stairs. Suzy looked like a fairy in her pink dress, coupled with her blonde hair, there was no doubt she'd win the award for prettiest girl any day!

I had all my attention on her as we walked so it was only when we got to the very last step that I noticed Sebastian at the end staring at us with unreadable eyes.

"Suzy, my dear you look so stunning, I fear I might be blinded by your beauty"

He picked her up and I followed behind. This bull of a man didn't have the decency to compliment me!

The ride began nice and smooth. Forever and a half later we arrived at the Cornelius mansion. Truly a masterpiece that lives up to expectations. The Whitemore house was grand but it didn't come close to how majestic this looked.

Immediately we matched closer to the front door he suddenly clasped my waist with his hand, pulling me closer while leading Suzy with his other hand. The unexpected contact made me flinch, not to mention our unbelievable proximity. He literally had me in his arms! But I had to act calm! I can't give away the fact that I've never even hugged a guy before! The closest I've gotten is holding hands so who could blame me for mentally freaking out?!

But I really underestimated this man. He leaned over and whispered to me. "Whatever happens in there, remember to stay calm. You are not compelled to answer any question if you don't want to"

I'm glad he couldn't see my face because I turned red from blushing uncontrollably. I genuinely think he's the one I should be worried about! How was I supposed to withstand a whisper from his deep husky voice so close to my ears?! I felt goosebumps all over.

I can't help but feel I'm the one getting seduced here!
