Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World

Chapter 280: Pussy!

The noise in this part of the forest began to rise as more and more creatures woke up from slumber to see that they had gained an unimaginable amount of power.

The last time they were awake, they had been feasting on the cooked remains of those squids, octopuses, and other aquatic creatures along with some birds.

*WHOOSH!*

An owl shot into the sky, bringing with her a torrent of wind that ruffled the leaves and blew the fur of many creatures back.

She looked down, her big eyes scanning the region with vigilance and alertness. Through the cracks of the green canopies, she was able to see other creatures stirring awake or already awake.

*AWOOOO!*

A wolf's howl entered her ears, bringing with it a chilling feeling and a cold air.

More wolf howls began to echo from different parts of the region, creating a heated atmosphere that boiled the bloods of the newly awoken creatures.

They wanted to do something, they wanted to make a move on something, they wanted to fight, to test out their new might.

But then, a lion's roar resounded across the region, bringing with it an invisible wave of power that brushed up on their bodies and caused them to calm down.

Still, more birds began to fly into the sky as most of them circled around a particular spot in excitement.

Below them, Kael stood with his knuckles pressed on his waist and a satisfied smile plastered on his face.

In front of him were two humanoid females.

One was around six feet in height, wearing a black dress that just looked like a gothic nightgown. She had smooth black hair that fell to the center of her back.

Her black lipstick created a striking contrast with her pale skin, adding to her charm. On her left nostril was a small silver piercing to add to her beautification. Her choice of fashion was definitely not common even for lions.

This was none other than Zabita.

The other lady was Diane who towered over Zabita by a full head. Diane wore a simple red crop top that exposed her well-toned abs and paired it with light green cargo pants.

Zabita wore a pair of feminine black sandals while Diane remained with her bare feet on the ground.

"Are you satisfied, Your Majesty?" Diane asked with a cheeky smile as she got closer to Kael.

Kael nodded, "I'm very satisfied. How many?"

Zabita spoke, "Roughly one thousand plus, closer to one thousand two hundred,"

"Very good, very good," Kael nodded, the smile on his face becoming wider. One thousand tier 3 equivalent was already a very deadly force.

He could feel the hair on his body standing on end as he felt the danger around him. So many of these creatures, if they ganged up, he might not be able to survive.

Luckily, that was the last thing on their minds. Kael's aura deterred them from even entertaining such a thought

What made it even better was that with so many of them available, they could control more resources which would lead to more creatures gaining the opportunity to evolve.

The Kingdom could only get stronger from here on as long as nothing goes wrong.

"How do you plan on directing them?" Kael asked, "Do you guys have any plans after this?"

Diane closed in on Kael, pressing her breasts on Kael's shoulders, she held his arms and looked at him with dreamy eyes.

"Yes, we plan on rushing into the wild plains very soon, the Zebras are our primary targets," Diane said.

"Zebras?" Kael asked.

"Yes, Priya said that if we absorbed them and made them a caste of their own, other predatory castes could use them as a good source of food, taking the pressure of the Rabbit Caste.

We've also been making preparations for other creatures but the Zebra's are the main one.

However, for now, they will all have to go back to their caste headquarters to integrate back into their ranks.

When it's time, all the caste members who can fight will assemble at the forest borders."

"I see, so you're planning on sweeping through the wild plains?"

"Yeah," Zabita confirmed.

Kael then looked at Zabita with a serious expression, "Do you need help?"

Kael knew of Zabita's recklessness despite her quiet personality. He really didn't understand what had gone through her head back when she and Olivia were fighting the elephants.

If Kael had not been there, Olivia would have run out of energy and both of them would have died.

"We don't mind if you help us out…" Zabita said while lowering her gaze, unable to maintain eye contact as she knew why Kael was asking her that question.

"Hmm, I'll personally command the operation. There's no need to stay in one place. The sooner we conquer this continent, the sooner we conquer the planet." Kael said.

He was also thinking of Chloe's exploration band; they had probably received the second magic shuttle by now and would have covered a lot of distance.

Kael wanted to make sure that if the Arkship was found, he would have enough manpower to take it by force.

As for the map they were making on the side, Kael had some ideas for it that concerned the Lion System but they were just ideas and he wasn't thinking much about it for now.

Kael secretly wished that Darius was still alive so that he could ask him where he came from. Since he killed Darius, he had not encountered any other tiger anywhere at all.

If he could just know where Darius came from…

'Isaiah!' Kael's eyes lit up with a ruthless light, stunning Diane and Zabita.

Just then, Kael sensed that another message had been sent to him from Exalon.

The golden screen automatically appeared in front of his face for him to read the message.

Exalon: Pussy!

Kael raised one of his eyebrows in confusion, all he did was ignore Exalon's chat for a while.

"You guys should organize them all and arrange their return to their castes. I'll be waiting for you,"

After Kael said he walked away, prying his arm away from Diane and leaving the duo stunned.

"What did you do?" Zabita asked, frowning at Diane.

Diane shrugged her shoulders, "Nothing, maybe he received a bad message or something,"

Kael jumped high, landing firmly on a thick branch that was able to support his weight. The cries of birds, wolves, bears, and goats filled his ears but he shut them out.

The golden screen appeared in front of his head again. At this time, Exalon had sent another message.

Exalon: Why aren't you responding?

Kael: What?

Exalon: Ah, you finally responded, why weren't you replying to my texts?

Kael: What are you…I was busy.

Exalon: Busy doing what?

Kael: Busy surviving.

Exalon: Surviving? Ah, I can imagine, that's a lot of hard work.

Kael: Yeah, do you want to tell me something?

Exalon: Yeah, you know, I'm glad you didn't come to heaven with Alora. If you did, those of us who support you wouldn't have been able to protect you.

A lot of guys are really hellbent on killing you.

Kael: I know, that's why I didn't come…

Did you just say you wouldn't have been able to protect me?

Exalon: Yeah, some of us here actually support you. We're just skeptical if we are making the right decision.

Kael: Hmm…

Exalon: What?

Kael: I didn't say anything.

Exalon: I expected you to show appreciation, are you that ungrateful? Do you know how exhausting it is to defend you here?

Kael: …

Exalon: I understand, you don't know how to show respect, it's not your fault. Your parents were probably as uncultured as you are so they did not have the required sense to teach you manners.

It's not your fault.

Kael could not help but let out a soft chuckle at the last message. Did this Lion King just try to insult him?

Still, he didn't take it to heart because he could sense that Exalon was also just joking around.

Kael: You don't have a lot of friends do you?

Exalon: Many of them are dead, why did you ask?

Kael: Did you kill them?

Exalon: What? No, they died of old age or in battle.

Kael: Then why are you still alive?

Exalon: It's because I'm strong.

Kael: Makes sense.

Exalon: You get it.

Kael: Oh, what happened in heaven, I'm sure you have something to tell me right instead of insulting me.

Exalon: Yes, I do have something to talk to you about, something of importance to your survival.

Kael's brows furrowed, he noticed Exalon's tone becoming more formal through the message.

Kael: Bad news?

Exalon: An Alliance of Alliances is being formed just because of you right now. The lines have been drawn and a civil war is certain to occur as soon as you are found.

Every Lion King is contemplating which sides to join. The worst part is that those who want to kill you are somewhat justified in their reasons.

Primordial Lion, I don't think you understand the kind of danger you are in.
