Chapter 12: Chapter 12: The Devil’s Heir

Rikuya recognized the man—he was one of the guys Blackbeard had freed and recruited after infiltrating Impel Down. His strength was about the same as Vasco Shot, who had just been killed by the shockwave.

Next, Rikuya walked up to Domino.

At this moment, Domino looked extremely tense. Sweat was dripping down her forehead, soaking the brim of her hat.

It was obvious—there was no way she could withstand Rikuya now.

"Hand over the keys!"

"Never!"

SLAP!

A brief exchange—and Rikuya slapped her across the face.

The next moment, Domino's head smashed against the wall, and she collapsed, completely unconscious.

"'Never,' my ass. You're this weak and still dare to talk back? You're just making things hard on yourself," Rikuya scoffed. He then squatted down and unclipped the keyring from her waist.

Ding! Congratulations, Host! You have defeated an enemy. You've gained 15,000 reputation points.

This system message was clearly tied to defeating Domino.

Now with the keyring in hand, the surrounding prisoners began shouting even louder.

Rikuya then approached the cell of Avalo Pizarro, the guy who had been buttering him up with rainbow-level flattery.

Clack! With a twist, the cell door opened.

Seeing Rikuya, Pizarro's eyes lit up as if he were seeing his savior. He stared at Rikuya with burning admiration.

"Bro! Let me out! I'll help you find the legendary treasure!"

"Sorry, pal. Instead of having you follow me around, I'd much rather have your reputation points."

"Reputation points? I don't have anything on me! You can check!" Pizarro shouted in confusion.

"You didn't before… but now you do."

As soon as Rikuya finished speaking, groans of pain echoed from inside Pizarro's cell.

A few moments later, Rikuya calmly stepped out.

Ding! Congratulations, Host! You have defeated an enemy. You've gained 30,000 reputation points.

Just a moment ago, all the prisoners on Level Six of Impel Down were bursting with jealousy and excitement—but now, after seeing Rikuya's actions…

Dead silence fell across the entire cellblock.

It was so quiet, you could hear every single breath in the room.

Rikuya then moved to Catarina Devon, the one who had been yelling just moments ago.

Known as the Crescent Moon Hunter, Catarina Devon suddenly had a bad feeling when she saw Rikuya approaching with a smile.

"What do you want?!"

When Rikuya unlocked her cell, Devon couldn't help but blurt out:

"I-I can give you what you want! Tell me what you want!"

"I told you—I want reputation points!"

"Repu…reputation points? Just tell me how to give them to you—I'll give them right now!"

"Thanks in advance."

Without another word, Rikuya launched a brutal kick at the shackled Catarina Devon.

BOOM!!

The force was so strong that Devon didn't even have time to scream—she was instantly knocked unconscious.

Ding! Congratulations, Host! You have defeated an enemy. You've gained 30,000 reputation points.

Seeing Rikuya knock out yet another infamous pirate, the prisoners on Level Six finally erupted in chaos.

"Someone tell me—what the hell does that guy want?! Why is he beating everyone?!"

"What the hell is this 'reputation points' thing?! I've got nothing but dirt on me!"

"Damn! This guy's worse than the Marines! Punches first, talks later!"

Despite the shouting, Rikuya paid no mind. He calmly continued unlocking cells one by one—and teaching each prisoner a brutal lesson.

In no time at all, Level Six of Impel Down had turned into a real hell on earth.

Finally, Rikuya reached the last cell at the end of the corridor.

From inside came a deep, threatening voice.

"Don't open this door… or you'll die."

Hearing this, Rikuya paused in surprise.

He hadn't expected to find someone this bold still locked up on this floor.

Up to now, he had faced a long list of legendary pirates—including many of Blackbeard's future crewmates—and had crushed them all without difficulty.

But this man… this man piqued Rikuya's curiosity.

Could there still be a real monster locked away here in Infinite Hell?

Intrigued, Rikuya slowly pushed open the cell door.

Suddenly, from within the darkness, a towering middle-aged man lunged out!

He was tall and powerfully built, with long golden hair, wearing a tattered military uniform, and lunging toward Rikuya with deadly intent.

As he reached him, he raised his seastone cuffs and tried to smash them into Rikuya's head.

"How arrogant," Rikuya sneered.

With that, he simply lifted his foot—

BAM!!

Agony surged through the man's entire body. In the next second, he dropped to his knees.

"Still feeling tough?"

"Get lost!!"

Furious, the man tried to stand again and launch a second attack.

WHAM!!

Rikuya's next kick was much stronger than the first.

The man slammed into the ground, vomiting blood, and coughed so violently he couldn't catch his breath.

"If you've got the guts, just kill me!"

Even in this state, the man glared at Rikuya with defiance, a face full of unshakable pride.

Seeing someone this unyielding actually interested Rikuya.

"Locked up in Level Six, dressed in a military uniform, and with golden hair…

Could it be…

You're the one they call…

'The Devil's Heir'—Douglas Bullet?!"

Rikuya's eyes widened as he sized the man up in shock.
