One Piece: Revenge of the Slaves

Chapter 126: OPRS: Chapter 126

"Tsk tsk…" Enel had no intention of intervening. If Alistair died at this girl's hands, he was too weak to be worth saving. But his inaction didn't mean others were watching.

In a split second, Lafitte's sword was at Tashigi's throat; her sword was disarmed by a hand emerging from Robin's body and placed against her own neck.

"You should've said something," Lafitte smiled at Tashigi, addressing Robin, who stood with arms crossed and eyes closed. Petals fell from Robin's face as she smiled. "Likewise, but your rescue was impressive."

"Thank you," Lafitte sheathed his sword. Robin placed Tashigi's sword on the ground, her hand retracting.

Hina and Smoker twitched, reassessing the group's strength.

"Eighty million bounty on 'Devil Child' Nico Robin."

"Forty million bounty on 'Devil Judge' Laffitte."

"Your crew has some serious figures!" Smoker realized there were two Logia users and two high-bounty individuals, all operating under Alistair. Alistair was the core. But Hina noticed their concern about the girl harming Alistair; Alistair himself wasn't strong. Was he manipulating these strong individuals?

A deeper question arose: were these strong individuals easily manipulated? He had an answer he didn't want to admit.

"Tashigi," Alistair patted her shoulder. "If, after seeing our justice, you still believe it's false…"

He placed Tashigi's sword in her hand. "Then use this to kill me. Robin and Laffitte won't stop you, I promise."

Alistair was adopting the pirate world's boldness. He wouldn't have dared say this to a swordsman before. But now, he had confidence, believing in his crew and his cause; his boldness approached that of a Yonko. His combat strength was negligible, but his spirit and belief were stronger than any Yonko.

Tashigi, Smoker, and Hina were stunned. Tashigi was helpless; the ship was moving too fast to swim back.

"Lafitte, find her a room; she'll be sailing with us for a while," Alistair said.

"My apologies," Lafitte bowed, gesturing for her to follow. Besides her sword, she carried two swords Alistair had bought—the three-generation Kitetsu and the Shusui—for two million Berries, in case they encountered Zoro. He'd even tried to buy Devil Fruits but failed.

"Captain, where to?" Ace's flames burned intensely; the helm was his alone; he was heading home, but Alistair surprised him.

"The East Blue's 16th branch," Alistair said, showing a map; Ace took it, questioning the destination.

"To show them true justice," Alistair stretched. "And a navigator awaits; since we're here, let's help her."

"Her?" Ace smiled.

"A damsel in distress," he grinned, turning the ship towards the 16th branch.

"What are you doing?! The 16th branch is insignificant! They can't do anything!" Smoker meant they couldn't threaten them; Alistair smiled coldly. "They can do plenty."

Smoker and Hina, cuffed to the mast, struggled.

"Robin, your assignment," Alistair said.

"Huh?" Robin asked, already exhausted from training.

"Use the cannons below deck; start with three," Alistair said, smiling.

Robin showed displeasure but agreed; she saw a way to improve her combat skills.
