One Piece: Revenge of the Slaves

Chapter 125: OPRS: Chapter 125

Alistair hadn't expected to acquire a Logia-type and a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit user, both high-ranking Navy officers, during a simple trip to town. Watching Hina and Smoker bicker realistically, Alistair realized they were real, and incredibly unlucky.

Against anyone else in his group, they wouldn't be so easily defeated. Against Ace's Mera Mera no Mi, Smoker could hold his own, giving Hina a chance. Besides Ace, Lafitte's combat ability was inferior to Hina, and Robin was negligible. They would only be this defeated against Enel. And that's exactly who they encountered. Alistair didn't know how to describe their misfortune.

"Mr. Alistair! Who are they?! Aren't they Navy?!" Tashigi exclaimed, surprised. She'd suspected they were CP agents, but hadn't expected them to openly capture Navy officers. She speculated about their origins.

Alistair gestured for her to calm down, crouching before Smoker. "Captain Smoker, Logia-type Smoke Smoke Fruit user, nice to meet you. And Ms. Hina as well."

"Who are you? A Yonko's subordinate? No, impossible! A Logia-type wouldn't serve…"

Ace wasn't yet Whitebeard's son; only five Logia users had appeared; besides Caesar Clown's Gas Gas Fruit, the others were Navy officers. After Ace's rise, the Navy tried to recruit him, but Ace was too proud. If Whitebeard hadn't impressed Ace, he wouldn't have joined. He might have become a Shichibukai or a Yonko. His potential was unrealized due to Whitebeard's protection.

Which Logia user would serve another? Perhaps a Yonko!

Smoker was surprised; this flagless ship was likely used by a Yonko's subordinates for a secret mission. They'd encountered Smoker and Hina; to conceal their tracks, they'd brought them aboard; was there a plot?

He frowned, worried; Hina, without thinking, spat at Alistair. "Shut up, pirate! Hina's furious! Kill me; I won't surrender!"

This would be disgusting from an ordinary person, but from a fiery beauty with pink hair, it was cute.

"Don't worry, I won't kill you," Alistair chuckled, turning to Ace. "Set sail."

"Yes, Captain," Ace grinned, his feet turning into flames, fueling the pipes.

"Another Devil Fruit user?!" Hina and Smoker were silent, stunned. Logia-type users were plentiful here; with Smoker, there were three; the entire Navy only has four!

"Who are you?!" Smoker growled; his assumptions were wrong.

Alistair smiled, the ship accelerating. "I am the World Government's gravedigger, the Navy's undertaker, the Celestial Dragons' judge, the old world's destroyer; I am the world's destroyer. I am the one who will create a new world."

Alistair looked seriously into Smoker's eyes. Smoker, about to retort, was silenced by his serious gaze.

Even without resources or strength, with two Logia users, he could say this. Most, even with power, wouldn't dare; Alistair's boldness chilled Smoker and Hina.

His ambition, his strength, wasn't the scariest thing. The scariest was the Navy's ignorance of him. Their actions would be earth-shattering; the Navy wouldn't react in time. Besides the Admirals and veterans, few could stop them!

Smoker and Hina felt a surge of responsibility; they wanted to escape and report this to Headquarters.

Thump…

Tashigi, incredulous, sat down. "You deceived me!" Like a girl betrayed by a lover, tears welled up; she bit her lip.

"Tashigi," Alistair smiled, standing up. "I promised to show you true justice. We have two Navy officers; let's show you what the world has become."

This didn't calm Tashigi. She drew her sword, slashing at Alistair.
