Chapter 38: Chapter 38: Look, There Are Cows Flying in the Sky

Because of his previous serious injuries, Zoro was clearly at a disadvantage in his duel with Hachi.

Nami, watching anxiously from the side, called out, "Lynn, aren't you going to help Zoro?"

Lynn smiled calmly. "You should have more faith in your comrades. This is just the beginning. Zoro's goal is to become the world's greatest swordsman. If he can't handle a small fight like this, he might as well go home and sleep."

Before Nami could protest, Zoro pulled off the silk scarf tied around his arm and wrapped it around his head. He turned to Lynn with a grin. "Octopus, today I'll show you what real swordsmanship is! Three Swords Style Secret Technique: Tornado!"

With that, Hachi was swiftly defeated.

Lynn spat silently. What a shameless guy—bragging about swordsmanship when he himself hadn't boasted about his own skills. That sword style came from the very bottom of the world! Pah…

Nami glanced back in confusion. "What are you spitting at?"

Lynn chuckled nervously. "That six-sword style is lame—too weak!"

Suddenly, a bubble flew at Lynn, but he slapped it away effortlessly.

It was Chu's saliva.

Lynn exclaimed, "Stinky fish! That's unhygienic! Attacking with spit? Gross!"

Chu's cheeks flushed. "That's not saliva—it's a blister!"

Lynn waved dismissively. "Whatever you call it, Usopp!"

Usopp frowned, "What's going on?"

Lynn said, "I'm counting on you. Train hard—I believe in you!"

Usopp's eyes lit up. "Really? Thanks for the trust!" He then ran off.

"Nani!!" everyone shouted.

Chu sneered, "Low-class human, are you really that cowardly?"

Puff… A fireball suddenly shot toward Chu. He raised his arm to block it—only to catch fire himself.

Chu yelped, "I'm going to turn into dried fish! It's so hot!"

Usopp, goggles gleaming, said proudly, "Stinky fish, your opponent is me!"

Everyone's expressions darkened. This guy…

After Chu put out the flames, he shouted angrily, "Stop right there!"

Usopp ran away in panic. When Chu tried to ignore him, Usopp attacked again, making Chu chase after him in frustration.

Lynn smiled. "Did you see that? Nami, you should learn more tactics like this!"

Nami shuddered as Lynn's hand brushed her shoulder.

Blushing, she spun around. "Let go!"

Lynn snapped out of it and released her immediately. What had he been thinking?

Meanwhile, Sanji's fight with the black belt ended. His kicking skills were more than enough to deal with these rookies.

The remaining battle was between Luffy and Arlong.

Arlong, furious at seeing his comrades fall one by one, nearly lost control.

Suddenly, Arlong landed a punch on Luffy, sending him flying into the sea. Lynn had no choice but to act.

Leaping forward, Lynn caught Arlong as he was about to dive into the water.

Arlong growled, "Get out of the way."

Lynn sneered, "Are you stupid? Sanji, go rescue Luffy. This round's mine."

Arlong glared dangerously. "If you want to die so badly, I'll send you off first! Shark Arrow!"

What the hell is flying at this speed?!

Lynn didn't aim to kill Arlong in one blow—he wanted to build experience.

In a flash, Lynn punched Arlong on the shoulder as he sped past.

Boom…

Arlong crashed into his castle, sending up a cloud of dust.

Villagers gasped, "Who's that young man? Incredible!"

"I don't know, but Nami brought him back."

"Is Arlong done for? Can humans really have this kind of power?"

Nami watched Lynn knock Arlong away with a single punch. This overwhelming force felt completely different from Luffy's earlier fight.

She realized just how powerful Lynn was—and dared to hope that the village could finally break free from Arlong's rule.

Zoro, resting on the ground, looked at Lynn in surprise. From Arlong's water strike earlier, he knew the man was strong, but hadn't expected Lynn to leave him so far behind.

Looks like I need to train harder!

As the dust settled, Arlong emerged from his ruined castle, gripping a saw-shaped machete in fury.

"You lowly humans! Today, I'll kill you all!" he roared.

Lynn suddenly pointed to the sky. "Look! There are cows flying in the sky!"

Everyone's attention snapped up, stifling laughter as they glanced at the furious Arlong.

Arlong stalked toward Lynn. "I hope your mouth stays so sharp later."

Lynn replied flatly, "If you want to fight, then fight. Enough with the nonsense."

"Lynn, get out of the way—he's mine now!" Luffy, rescued by Sanji, shouted.

Lynn rolled his eyes. "You already had your turn. Now it's mine!"

"Tsk… hahaha…" Arlong laughed furiously. "You lowly humans, come together! Today I will—"

Boom…

Before Arlong could finish, Lynn punched him into the castle again.

Scratching his ear, Lynn pointed at the spot where Arlong had flown out and muttered, "Where did that fish come from? Escaped from the mental hospital, maybe?"

Everyone's eyes twitched.

Luffy snapped, "Lynn, didn't you agree to give Arlong to me? How could you—"

Lynn cut him off, "Who told you to be so dishonest? You've been training forever and still can't beat a fish. Now, step aside."

Before Lynn could finish, Arlong charged out from the rubble, nostrils flaring.

"Low-level humans, I won't be defeated by you! Hahahaha! Prepare to die!"

Thanks to his Observation Haki, Lynn was on alert and didn't lower his guard until he confirmed Arlong was losing stamina.

Pushing Luffy aside, Lynn took advantage of the moment, hooked Arlong with a punch, and kicked him in the head as he rushed forward.

Boom…

A huge hole appeared where they stood.

Before anyone could react, the loud noise startled everyone…
