Naruto: To Hell This Suicide System

Chapter 116: NT: 144: I Am the One Who's Right

"Susanoo." A surge of blue chakra erupted, swelling into a towering warrior dozens of meters tall, Uchiha Madara's Susanoo, born from his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.

Gripping twin blades, the spectral warrior fixed its gaze on Tengen. "Come, junior."

"Let's do this." Black chakra enveloped Tengen, coalescing into his own Susanoo, a dark colossus matching Madara's in its complete form.

Both Susanoo stood as equals, their power rivaling that of tailed beasts.

*Boom!* The two giants charged, their long blades clashing in a storm of steel. Blade aura sliced outward, rending the surroundings into ruins, the shockwaves reducing everything to rubble.

"Such strength." Madara murmured within his Susanoo. "His power surpasses even mine."

"Your Susanoo is impressive, Madara-san." Tengen said calmly. "Worthy of one who rivaled the First Hokage. I admire you. But you've aged. How much of your Mangekyo's power can you still wield? And more importantly, this is just a Wood Clone."

Tengen's Susanoo pressed forward, its might overwhelming Madara's, which began to falter.

"You saw through it." Madara said with a bitter smile.

He hadn't intended to use Susanoo to meet this junior. His lifespan was dwindling, sustained only by the Gedo Statue, and his plans were incomplete, missing a crucial pawn, someone to share his vision. But Tengen's words made it clear: he could not be swayed.

Questions gnawed at Madara. How did Tengen know of these powers? How had he achieved the Eternal Mangekyo?

"If I were at my peak, Tengen, you wouldn't scare me." Madara said.

His Susanoo collapsed, the Wood Clone dissolving into nothing.

"Peak strength, huh?" Tengen's black Susanoo glanced toward a distant point, as if sensing something, then sheathed its blades. The dark warrior vanished.

Tengen smiled faintly. "Uchiha Madara, I look forward to facing your full power."

With that, he left the battlefield.

Anyone who saw the aftermath would be struck with awe, marks of a clash between titans.

Back at Konoha's camp, Kushina sighed in relief as Tengen returned unscathed. "You had me worried."

"What, think I'd get into trouble?" Tengen grinned.

"Don't get cocky. Plenty of people are stronger than you." Kushina shot back.

"Oh? Like who?" Tengen asked, curious.

"Well…" Kushina hesitated, then blurted, "The Third Hokage, for one. And the Third Raikage's supposed to be formidable."

"Hah, I wouldn't dare touch the old man. But the Third Raikage? I might test him someday." Tengen said, stroking his chin.

"You're not planning to take on Kumogakure now, are you?" Kushina said, alarmed.

"Of course not. This battlefield's my priority. I'm not going anywhere." Tengen said, shaking his head.

"Good." Kushina said, relieved. She knew Tengen's temperament, he meant what he said.

Meanwhile, in a distant cave, an elderly figure sat, one Tengen would recognize: the aged Uchiha Madara.

Beside him loomed a grotesque figure: humanoid, with nine eyes, its body like withered wood, ten pillar-like protrusions jutting from its back, its expression one of anguish. This was the Gedo Statue.

Once drained of its chakra, it became this husk. Its immense vitality sustained Madara's fading life. The chakra, extracted by the Sage of the Six Paths, had birthed the nine tailed beasts. If the Gedo Statue reclaimed them, it would revert to its original form: the Divine Tree.

"To think such a prodigy exists." Madara murmured, aware of everything through his Wood Clone. Tengen's Eternal Mangekyo and terrifying Susanoo felt as vivid as if he'd seen them himself.

"What a pity he can't be swayed." Madara said, regret tinging his voice. With Tengen, his plans would have been far easier to execute.

"Not yet complete." he said grimly. Though his schemes were long in motion, the time to act hadn't come.

"White Zetsu." Madara called, turning to a figure resembling a pitcher plant. "Keep investigating. Monitor the ninja world's movements."

"Yes, Madara." the figure replied, vanishing.

"Peace." Madara said, his eyes cold. "My path is the right one, Hashirama. You were wrong. After your death, the ninja world remains steeped in war, no peace in sight."

"I will lead it to peace." His gaze drifted, as if envisioning that future world.

"I am the one who's right."

With a rustle, Madara's frail body shuffled to a corner, leaning against the wall to rest.

Even in his weakened state, his ambition burned undimmed.

"I, Uchiha Madara, am the one who's right."
