Chapter 30: Chapter 30: Today’s Cola Tastes Sweet
Shopping for Clothes
Yuigahama Yui and Yukinoshita Yukino stood side by side, picking out clothes.
Yui was surprised—
Yukino seemed a little clueless about shopping for clothes.
She was evaluating fabrics first, as if she were selecting armor rather than fashion.
Seeing this—
Yui took the initiative to help Yukino choose outfits.
At first, Yukino was hesitant, but she soon realized—
Yui actually had a great eye for fashion.
Each outfit suited her perfectly.
—
By the time Su Yu found them, Yukino had already tried on over ten outfits.
"Yukinoshita-san, I'm so jealous! Everything looks good on you!" Yui sighed in admiration.
"Thank you." Yukino smiled politely.
But—
As she glanced at Yui's figure, her smile froze for a second.
…She was actually the jealous one.
"Don't be discouraged, Yukinoshita-san. You still have a lot of room to grow." Su Yu, noticing her gaze, teased lightly.
Yukino's face turned slightly pink, and she glared at Su Yu before storming off to the changing room.
—
Meanwhile, Su Yu turned to Yui.
"Aren't you going to try anything on?"
"…Do you really want to see me in a swimsuit?" Yui's face flushed red as she whispered.
"Yes." Su Yu replied without hesitation.
"T-Then… Next time you come to my house… I-I can wear one for you… just once."
By the time she finished speaking, her face was completely red, and she covered it with her hands.
"In your room? That's probably a bad idea. If Aunt Asuna found out, I feel like she'd be disappointed in me."
"T-Then… I can bring it to your place?"
As she said this, her ears turned red.
Su Yu looked at her for a moment before gently taking her hand.
"I want you to wear it… when we go to the beach together."
Yui's heart melted at his words.
She leaned her head against his shoulder, smiling sweetly.

Lunch Date with a Surprise Guest
After leaving the clothing store—
Yukino bought several outfits, while Yui only chose one dress—
A dress that Su Yu had picked out for her.
They left the mall and found a restaurant for lunch.
Since Su Yu was paying, he handed them the menu.
Neither Yukino nor Yui objected—they knew he wasn't short on money.
The two girls ordered their main dishes and desserts, and Su Yu ordered the same.
Then, he turned to Yukino—
"This afternoon, let's head to the library. I'll carry the books home for you, and in return, you and Yui can cook dinner for me. How about it?"
Yukino hesitated for a moment before nodding lightly.
"Yukinoshita-san's cooking must be amazing!" Yui said excitedly.
"I've been self-learning for a long time. I can cook most dishes. The taste should be better than this restaurant's." Yukino replied.
"…If the head chef heard that, he might come out with a knife to 'discuss' things with you." Su Yu smirked.
"I've learned Aikido. I could probably defeat most normal people." Yukino said casually.
"Please teach me."
"You're too old to start learning Aikido."
"I might be a martial arts prodigy."
"That just makes it more dangerous to teach you. You'd use it to bully others, get arrested, and ruin my reputation."
"Yukinoshita-san, you really do see me as a villain, huh?"
"You're certainly not a good person."
Yukino smirked slightly.
Su Yu sighed and looked out the window.
Yui, watching the exchange, giggled.
—
Just then, Su Yu spoke up.
"Yukinoshita-san, look outside."
She turned to the window—
And immediately frowned.
Walking towards the restaurant was Yukinoshita Haruno, accompanied by two young women.
—
A few minutes later—
"Su Yu-kun?"
Haruno's voice rang out as she walked over.
"Miss Yukinoshita, hello." Su Yu greeted casually.
"Are you and Yukino-chan on a date?" Haruno teased, glancing at her sister.
"This is a Service Club activity." Su Yu replied evenly.
"…A club activity, huh?" Haruno chuckled meaningfully.
"Your friends are waiting." Yukino said, eyeing her sister.
Haruno smiled but didn't leave immediately.
Instead, she leaned in close to Su Yu's ear and whispered something—
Then, with a smirk, she walked away.
Her two curious friends were quickly distracted by her smooth excuses.
She took a seat far away.
As Su Yu turned back—
Two sets of curious eyes locked onto him.
It was obvious—
They wanted to know what Haruno had said.
"It was a fake-out. She just did it to mess with you guys." Su Yu explained.
"…That sounds like something my sister would do." Yukino sighed.
Yui glanced toward Haruno's table before nodding, believing Su Yu's words.
—
Shortly after, their lunch arrived.
After the meal—
As Su Yu prepared to pay, the cashier informed him—
Their bill had already been covered.
No doubt—
Haruno had paid for them.
Yukino glanced out the window, but Haruno was already gone.
"Let's go." Su Yu said, standing up.
The two girls followed him out.
—
A Movie Date
At the library, Yukino picked out a few books.
When she returned to them—
Su Yu made a suggestion.
"Your sister treated us to lunch. Yui and I would like to treat you to a movie. What do you think?"
Yukino blinked.
After a few seconds—
She nodded lightly.
Yui smiled—spending time with both of them felt really nice.
—
At the movie theater—
Su Yu bought the tickets, while Yui grabbed cola and popcorn.
Inside—
Yui sat in the middle, with Yukino on her left and Su Yu on her right.
As the movie started—
Yui gently reached for Su Yu's hand.
He glanced at her—
Then, without hesitation, lifted her hand and kissed the back of it.
Her face instantly turned red.
She stole a quick glance at Yukino, who was completely focused on the movie.
Heart racing, she quickly grabbed her cola and took a sip.
—
Today's cola…
Tasted unusually sweet.
