Chapter 51: Chapter 51: Fight

"Arthur!" Gwen ran to Arthur and helped him get up.

As strong as his body was now, an explosion burning his clothes could still hurt him.

"Hmm..." Arthur shook his head; it had hit the car during the explosion.

Although it didn't injure him seriously, he still felt dizzy.

"How are you?"

"I'm fine, just a little dizzy. Taking an explosion to the face without any preparation is not something I'd like to repeat." After Arthur reassured Gwen, his eyes turned to the villains.

It was the versions of Scorpion, Doc Octopus, Hammerhead, Tombstone, Kraven, Vulture, and Shocker from this world—plus Miles's uncle, the Prowler.

"Hoho~ There are a lot of people here. It seems the Kingpin of this world is smarter than the one in my world," Arthur said, remembering the Kingpin from his own world.

That idiot's only security was a damn panic room. He didn't hire anyone to protect him, even though he suspected Arthur was a mutant.

All the guests looked at the USB stick hanging from Peter's neck. Doc Octopus fixed her eyes on it, manipulating one of her tentacles to grab it.

"I'll be taking this~" she said.

Peter quickly dodged the tentacle and jumped to the wall, but was pressed to the floor by two more tentacles, and the USB around his neck fell to the ground.

"How about we take turns?" Gwen said, throwing a web at the USB stick and pulling it toward her.

At the same time, everyone fixed their eyes on her and ran toward them.

"Are you forgetting she's not alone?" Arthur, who had changed clothes at some point and was now wearing his combat outfit, blocked their view.

"Let's dance?" He smiled as he prepared to fight.

[A/N: From now on I will call them by nicknames]

Kraven, with a predatory smile on his face, ran toward Garou with an axe in hand, ready to kill.

With a quick movement, he swung his axe with clear intent to kill.

Arthur easily dodged the blow, grabbed the axe, and pulled Kraven toward him.

"You should be grateful I don't want to kill you." Clenching—

However, before his fist could land on Kraven's face,

Shocker attacked with shockwaves, forcing Garou to stop his attack and defend himself.

At the same time, Penny piloted her robot to confront Hammerhead and Tombstone.

Penny's attack couldn't damage them, but it managed to push them back.

Prowler could be considered the most skilled of the villains present. He fought alone against Noir and Spider-Ham.

Noir and Prowler were both master fighters. Unfortunately, because of this, neither could gain the upper hand. With Spider-Ham interfering, Prowler began to struggle.

"I got it!" With Scorpion's help, Vulture ripped the USB stick from Spider-Woman, but before he could celebrate, Spider-Man threw a web at him, pulled him close, and punched him in the face, quickly grabbing the USB back.

"Don't intimidate my mom!" Spider-Girl grabbed Scorpion's mechanical leg and slammed him to the ground like Hulk did with Loki.

"Ugh..." Lying in the crater, Scorpion could no longer move—his body trembled.

"As expected of my daughter." Spider-Woman happily patted Spider-Girl's head.

"Can you two stop it!? This is not the time for family bonding!" Spider-Man's voice rang out—suddenly, Doc Octopus grabbed him by the neck and slammed him into the ground.

Spider-Woman and Spider-Girl immediately rushed to fight Doc Octopus.

"Uff~ Uff~" After freeing himself, Spider-Man gasped for air—Doc Octopus had squeezed his neck so hard he couldn't breathe properly.

Then he looked at Miles, who was watching the battle from afar, unsure of what to do. He threw the USB stick to Miles. "Miles, take it and run!"

Miles quickly grabbed it and ran as fast as he could.

Prowler had his eyes on him the whole time. With a quick, unexpected move, he broke free from Noir and Spider-Ham and began chasing Miles.

"Wait!" Noir was about to chase him when Vulture blocked his path.

Scorpion, who slowly rose from the small crater, shook his head and looked at Kraven, who was still attacking Garou furiously.

Sensing an attack from behind, Garou jumped, dodging the strike—which hit Kraven instead, sending him flying.

(This sucks. I can't use my full strength, Arthur thought.)

If he overdid it, he could accidentally kill someone.

At some point, his "Garou character card" reached an impressive 50%.

He still didn't have full control over his strength.

"Rahhhhh!" Shocker adjusted the intensity of his shockwaves and ran toward Garou, aiming to launch an explosive attack.

Boom!

Garou was hit by the shockwave and thrown back, crashing into a house.

"I'm so done with this crap..." he muttered, lying in the rubble and staring at the sky.

He stood up and brushed the dust from his clothes. Then he looked around at the destruction he had caused.

"Ugh..."

"Find the guy named Shocker—he'll cover the repair costs," he said to a man sitting on a couch inside the destroyed house, who stared at him in shock.

After speaking, Garou cracked his neck and ran back into the fight.

He saw Kraven running at him with a spear in hand.

(Where the hell did this guy get a spear?) he thought.

Garou easily dodged Kraven's attack and punched him, sending him flying.

"Prey Interception," he muttered, attacking Kraven with his fingertips.

With this technique, he could hit the smallest pressure points with incredible precision.

Similar to acupuncture, his strikes "sank" into Kraven's flesh with terrifying brute force.

(Actually, this might be good for Miles—one less annoying villain to deal with...) he thought.

"Whirlwind Water Stream: Roaring Aura Sky Ripping Fist..." He took a strong stance, combining his two martial arts: Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist and Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist—and launched the attack.

The blow sent a powerful shockwave through Kraven's body.

Garou was determined to end it once and for all—so he used that technique.

The move was powerful enough to defeat an Elder Centipede, a dragon-level threat from the One Punch Man world—let alone a human like Kraven.

Before Kraven even realized what happened, his body was reduced to dust.

Seeing how strong his own attack was, Garou sighed in surprise.

But then something very strange happened.

His offline system—silent since his arrival in this world—suddenly showed signs of life.

[Congratulations on completing the secret mission – 'Reduce the burden of Miles': Disable/kill one of the future Spider-Man's enemies.]

(WTF!?) he screamed mentally.

It was clear he was confused by what was happening.

The fact that he got a reward meant his arrival in this world wasn't accidental—it had been influenced by some external force.

(What exactly did I get?) he thought, continuing to read the message.

[Reward: Space Stone (Special Edition).]

(Special Edition...?) he thought, puzzled.

"Useless..." Kingpin had witnessed Kraven's absurdly tragic end. Realizing he'd lose much more if he stayed, he pressed a small earpiece and ordered everyone to retreat.

He didn't care about Kraven's death at all.

The villains didn't waste a second after hearing the order—they fled without hesitation. No one chased them.

All anyone cared about now was whether the USB stick was safe.
