Chapter 6: Realisation
Chapter 6: Jujutsu Kaisen
A/N: Two different titles, right?
But it's acts like a spoiler....

The day had started like any other. Akira had taken the day off to practice, so he decided to explore a different part of the city on his own. His walk through the deserted alleyways felt almost peaceful, but something lingered in the air—a tension he couldn't quite place.
It wasn't until he reached his destination, an abandoned factory, that he realized all of it was the calm before the storm.
There, he met a cursed spirit, large and menacing, its body twisting and rippling in unnatural ways. The aura around it was so thick with malevolence that the air itself seemed to vibrate. Akira froze in place, feeling his stomach drop. This was no ordinary cursed spirit—it was at this moment that he knew he had made a terrible mistake.
The ground beneath his feet cracked and split as the spirit screeched, its enormous clawed limbs swiping through the environment. Buildings around it crumbled as if the very air was cursed.
His instincts screamed at him to run. But it was too late. The cursed spirit turned toward him with unnatural speed, its glowing eyes locking onto him as if sensing his presence.
Akira felt that he could fight it, but he didn't know how.
His pulse raced. He didn't even have time to activate the strange power he had been wielding. He barely managed to dodge the first swing of its claws, but the next one sent him flying into a nearby wall. His body slammed into the concrete, the impact rattling his bones.
It was then that Akira realized: He was completely out of his league.
The cursed spirit roared again, stepping forward. Akira pushed himself to his feet, his limbs shaking with exhaustion. The system's notifications continued to ping in the back of his mind, but his focus was entirely on survival.
[System Alert: Congratulations! Someone very powerful found you very interesting (attractive)]
[Evaluation: Excellent+++]
[Reward: Congratulations! You have unlocked the Innate Technique: "Boundless Imperium"]
[Note: This technique is unique and almost a variant of the Limitless technique, but far more destructive.]
Akira's eyes widened in disbelief.
An innate technique?
Limitless?
Gojo?
What is Gojo fucking Satoru doing here?!
He wasn't sure what to think, let alone how to use this new technique.
But as the cursed spirit raised its claws for a final blow, Akira's panic took over. With nowhere else to turn, he decided to try using the technique.
He focused on the sudden surge of energy flowing through him—the same negative energy that had been fueling his growth for all this time. It swirled around him, becoming something far more tangible than it ever had before. He tried to visualize the technique, imagining the power enveloping the cursed spirit, as if he could manipulate space itself.
And then, in an instant, it happened.
The world around him seemed to warp. The cursed spirit's body froze, suspended in space, as if time itself had stopped. Akira blinked, confused. Was it working?
No, it wasn't just time—it was reality itself. The very fabric of the environment around him had bent and twisted. The cursed spirit's movements were slowed to a crawl, its form stretching and contorting like a reflection in a broken mirror. The entire battlefield shifted as if Akira had gained control over the universe itself.
Akira's innate technique, Boundless Imperium, was a highly powerful and unique ability, created through the combination of his immense luck and the system's unpredictable power-ups. It was comparable (and, in fact, more destructive) than Gojo's Limitless technique, making it a force to be reckoned with in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen.
[System Alert: You have killed a first-grade cursed spirit.]
[Congratulations! You have activated "Boundless Imperium." (Mastery)]
[Note: Upon reaching another level, automatically unlocks Domain Expansion.]
This ability grants the user control over spatial dimensions, time perception, and infinite destructive potential. However, usage may cause severe mental strain.
Akira's Boundless Imperium was a formidable ability that surpassed many techniques in terms of destructive power and versatility. However, this technique came with its own unique challenges, such as the need for control and the physical, mental strain it caused. But for Akira, who was a walking cheat, all of that was negligible.
He already had the foundation to use his technique, what he lacked was its experience and mastery, but the system had provided him with that on a golden plate.
As Akira continued to grow and learn, the true potential of his innate technique would be revealed.
And with the help of the system, Kira practicing this technique to its fullest potential— that day was not far.
Akira didn't even have time to fully comprehend the magnitude of what he had just done.
The cursed spirit vanished—disintegrating into a cloud of dust. Akira fell to his knees, feeling the weight of the battle lift off his shoulders, but his body was overwhelmed with exhaustion. His vision blurred, and for a moment, he thought he was going to pass out.
"I survived..." His mind raced to process everything that had happened. But the most terrifying realization hadn't hit him until now.
I'm in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen.
His heart sank as the truth hit him like a ton of bricks. How could he have been so oblivious?
Of course, he was in the JJK world—everything made sense now. The cursed spirits, the negative energy—it was all a part of that world.
The system hadn't just been granting him random abilities for no reason. It had been leading him down this path. But why hadn't he realized it sooner?
How had he not made the connection?
He had spent years wandering through life, constantly thinking he was just lucky, but no—he was really the favored one. How could he survive in this messed-up world?
[System Alert: Negative energy >>> Cursed energy.]
[Please refer to the correct terminology.]
"This @$_&@#$$"
"But I don't remember anything important about this world at all. My past memories are already in shambles—how could I know about this world?"
Akira cursed inwardly at the absurdity of it all. Why didn't I figure this out earlier? He slapped his hand to his forehead in frustration. How could I have been so blind?
At that moment, a shadow loomed over him, blocking the sun. Akira looked up, his blurry vision clearing just enough to make out a figure.
A man. Tall, with striking white hair and a blindfold covering his eyes.
There was something almost familiar about him, but Akira couldn't place it. The man's presence radiated power, like he was someone from another world entirely.
"Well, well," the man said, his voice casual, but there was something more to it.
"That was an impressive display. Not many survive a first-grade spirit encounter... and certainly not a high schooler."
Akira blinked, still in a daze. "Who... who are you?" he managed to croak out.
The man smirked, tilting his head slightly. "You're asking the wrong question, kid. You should be asking what you are."
Akira frowned, confusion clouding his thoughts. "What am I?"
What an absurd question.
The man grinned. "I've been watching you. You don't even know what you've just unlocked."
"You're a sorcerer, kid."
"Welcome to the world of curses."
Akira's mind reeled. This wasn't happening. This couldn't be happening. But everything about this strange man, his words, the fight—it was all too real.
"Now," the man continued, crouching down to Akira's level.
"You've got quite the interesting innate ability there. I'm curious—do you know what you've just unlocked?"
"If not for your family records and your black hair and black eyes, I would've thought you were related to me or something."
Akira could barely keep his eyes open, exhaustion taking over. "I... I have no idea what's going on. I don't even know how I did that."
The man chuckled softly, before his voice turned more serious. "You've unlocked something much stronger than you think."
"To think that someone could use a technique comparable to Limitless without the support of Six Eyes..."
Akira's mind was spinning. This wasn't the life he had imagined—this wasn't even a life he had wanted.
But the fact that this man knew about his abilities...
"Who are you?" Akira asked, trying to keep his voice steady.
The man tilted his head back, a playful smile spreading across his face.
"Name's Satoru Gojo. And trust me, kid—your life and mine just got a whole lot more interesting."
