Fate: The Rise of Shikama Douji

Chapter 21: Dark Memories of Gilgamesh 2

Well, it seems you had a good rest. From now on, call me "Teacher." Shikama Doji gave a gentle smile and stared at Gilgamesh, as if waiting for him to call him Teacher. Gilgamesh paused for a few seconds and clenched his teeth. His face was filled with anger and hatred, but Shikama Doji still appeared calm and indifferent.

"Yes... Teacher," Gilgamesh said in a tone filled with hatred. Shikama Doji seemed pleased, as if he didn't notice how much Gilgamesh despised him. For Gilgamesh, these past few days had been pure hell. In his eyes, Shikama Doji was nothing but a devil.

"Good, now it's time to start the second experiment. Be ready," Shikama Doji took Gilgamesh's hand. The space in front of them shattered, and they suddenly found themselves in the middle of snow-covered mountains. The intense cold penetrated Gilgamesh's bones, but Shikama Doji seemed completely indifferent, as if the cold had no effect on him at all.

"The second experiment is to survive in this place for three days. But it's not that simple..." Shikama Doji continued calmly, "I will bombard this area with relatively strong magic. Don't worry, the magic isn't too powerful." Then, a wormhole opened in front of Gilgamesh, and some food and water came out of it. Shikama Doji spread his wings and gently flew into the sky. When he reached a sufficient height, he raised his hand, and thousands of magical circles appeared in the sky. The sky was filled with these circles, and Gilgamesh stared up in shock, even forgetting the intense cold.

Suddenly, thousands of magical beams rained down from the sky and struck the ground, exploding. Gilgamesh snapped back to reality and hurriedly grabbed the food and water, running to find shelter. As the magical beams hit the ground and exploded, the entire area turned into a hell of fire and smoke. Gilgamesh, with his torn and dirty clothes, crawled into a cave and took refuge.

"This isn't strong magic, you damned devil!" Gilgamesh gritted his teeth and cursed Shikama Doji. The entire mountain was shaking under the continuous bombardment. Time passed, and day turned to night, but the bombardment didn't stop. Almost the entire mountain was destroyed, and from a few kilometers away, continuous purple and pink lights could be seen in the sky.

On the first day, Gilgamesh stared at the sunrise, exhausted. He hadn't been able to sleep all night, and his food was gone. On the second day, Gilgamesh went out of the cave to find food. After much effort, he managed to hunt a rabbit. Along the way, he faced death multiple times. On the second night, his water ran out, and thirst took hold of him. On the third day, Gilgamesh, tired and thirsty, leaned against the cave wall. His body was frozen from the cold, and he had no strength left. At that moment, he saw Shikama Doji enter the cave. As he approached, Gilgamesh could no longer resist and fainted in his arms.
