Billionaire's Secretive Wife

Chapter 25: Chapter 25 Amnesiac

...

Esther walked into the hospital, the sterile smell of disinfectant and the soft beeping of machines greeted her. She made her way to Myron's room, her heart heavy with worry and curiosity. What had happened to her brother? How had he become an amnesiac?

As she entered the room, she saw Myron lying in bed, his eyes closed. The machines surrounding him beeped softly, and the IV drip infused medication into his veins. Esther's eyes scanned the room, taking in the sterile white walls and the faint scent of antiseptic.

She walked over to Myron's bedside, her footsteps quiet on the floor. She looked down at her brother, her heart aching with sadness. She remembered the strong, fearless Myron she used to know, the one who had hand-to-hand combat skills and could take down anyone with ease. What had happened to him?

Esther's mind wandered back to their past, to the academy where they were trained to be junior assassins. They were taught to be resilient, fearless, and strong. They learned how to shoot snipers, take poisons, and design strategies.

She remembered the endless hours of training, the pain and the blood. She remembered the day the government raided the academy, backed by the six big families who had been secretly manipulating them from behind the scenes. The government had deemed them a threat, a group of children trained to be deadly assassins. The six big families had seen them as a potential threat to their power, and they had joined forces to take them down.

The memories flooded back, and Esther's eyes stung with tears. She remembered the sound of gunfire and screams, the flames that engulfed the building, the heat that seemed to consume her. She had tried to find her brothers, but the smoke and chaos had separated them. She had called out for them, but they hadn't answered. She had stumbled through the flames, her skin burning, her lungs searing. She had thought she was going to die, that she would never see her brothers again.

But she had managed to escape, crawling through the debris and flames. She had stumbled out into the night air, gasping for breath. She had looked back at the academy, watching as it burned to the ground.

The memories flooded back, and Esther's eyes stung with tears. She remembered the smoke, the chaos, and the screams. She remembered losing sight of her brothers, and the desperation that had driven her to find them.

As she looked at Myron, she felt a pang of guilt and pain in her chest. If only the six big families hadn't joined forces with the government to get rid of the junior assassins, she wouldn't have lost her brothers. She wouldn't have felt this way, trapped in a sea of guilt and regret.

The six big families had ruined her childhood, and they would pay for it. One way or another, they would face the consequences of their actions. Esther's jaw clenched, her determination growing stronger. She would find a way to help Myron, to make him whole again. And she would make sure that those who had wronged them would pay for their mistakes.

As she stood there, looking at Myron's pale face, Esther felt a sense of resolve wash over her. She would do everything in her power to help her brother, to make him strong again. And she would make sure that justice was served.
