Billionaire's Secretive Wife

Chapter 26: Chapter 25 Wyatt Willing

..

Will medical...

Esther walked into the hospital, she was greeted by Dr. Willing, a tall, slender man in his mid-20s with a kind face and a gentle smile. He had short, dark hair that was neatly trimmed, and a pair of wire-rimmed glasses perched on the end of his nose. He wore a crisp white lab coat over a light blue dress shirt and a pair of dark trousers, giving him a professional and put-together appearance. A stethoscope hung around his neck, and a small notebook and pen were tucked into his pocket. His eyes were warm and concerned as he spoke with her.

"You're here, Esther. When did you come?" Dr. Willing asked, his voice soft and soothing.

Esther turned to face him, her expression softening slightly. "I came a few minutes ago. How is Myron's condition?" she asked, her voice laced with worry.

Dr. Willing nodded sympathetically. "It's getting worse every hour. I don't know what made him become this way, maybe because of trauma in his past, but I can't seem to stabilize it. He had been wounded severely on his body, and worst psychologically. He would need to be put under observation if things become more critical."

Esther slumped down in her chair, her gaze lingering on Myron's pale face. "Can nothing be done?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Dr. Willing shook his head sadly. "Sadly, no. I've been trying to find out what happened to him, but it's like he's lost all memories of his past."

Esther's eyes narrowed slightly. "I've been thinking about his past, and I think I know what might have caused this. The academy, the fire... it's all still a bit of a blur for me too."

Dr. Willing nodded thoughtfully. "I've been digging into his past, and I found out that he's been under the wing of Haina Hu and Trendy Ibarra. Do you think that's relevant?"

Esther's expression turned distant, her eyes glazing over. "Haina Hu and Trendy Ibarra," she repeated, her voice flat.

Dr. Willing noticed the change in her demeanor and leaned forward, his voice taking on a more serious tone. "Esther, do you know something about them?"

Esther's gaze drifted back to Dr. Willing, her eyes still distant. "No," she said curtly, her voice devoid of emotion.

Dr. Willing nodded, sensing that there was more to the story. "I think we need to investigate further. There might be a connection between his past and his current condition."

Esther nodded, her mind racing with possibilities, but her expression remained distant, her eyes still fixed on some point in the distance. "I'll look into it," she said, her voice still flat.

Dr. Willing smiled softly. "You don't have to worry, Esther. I'll do everything I can to help Myron. I owe you remember" Esther nodded briefly.

As they spoke, Esther's mind was elsewhere, her thoughts consumed by the names Haina Hu and Trendy Ibarra. She knew she had to tread carefully, to uncover the truth behind Myron's condition and the connections to these people.

...

At home Esther freshened up, and she changed into a simple yet elegant outfit. She wore a soft, pale blue silk blouse with intricate lace details around the neckline, paired with a pair of fitted black trousers that accentuated her slender legs. The blouse was loose-fitting, allowing her to move freely as she sat in front of her laptop. Her hair was pulled back into a sleek ponytail, revealing her sharp features and determined expression. A pair of silver stud earrings sparkled in her ears, adding a touch of sophistication to her overall look.

After dressing the first thing she did after making dinner was moving to her laptop. After hearing the Ibarra name, she knew something was definitely off with Myron's case. How come Myron was found by the Ibarra family, it couldn't be just a coincidence when they were part of the people who suggested the institution should be burnt to the ground.

As she scrolled through page after page of search results, her eyes widened in shock. Haina Hu and Trendy Ibarra were both scientists from different labs in the country, known for their groundbreaking research and innovative medicines. But their company's recent downfall was shrouded in controversy, with allegations of faulty products and cover-ups.

What Esther didn't understand was that it was after Myron had left them to the Lu family did their company started to plummet. Did it mean that Myron was the brains of the cooperation, and without him they were nothing. But it still didn't answer her question why he developed such illness. Was it that he was been experimented on while staying under the Ibarra family it it was the fire.

Her research ended at a dead end, she still didn't get to find out what caused her brother's severe medical illness and yet she was still far from finding her remaining brothers. Frustrated, she went to sleep, in her dream she dreamt of her family getting reunited once and for all.
