Hearing the question, Ye Yu showed some hesitation.

"OK, don't give me the crap that it will be better for me to remain in the dark. I know something or someone must have done that to you. So when your enemies come to find you, they will also take me as an accomplish."

"Whether you tell me the reason or not, it will bring me trouble either way. So you better come clean with me." Ren Wei didn't beat around, he directly demanded Ye Yu the clear reason.

Ye Yu looked at Ren Wei with shock in his eyes, his mouth opened. He never seen or met anyone like Ren Wei, who was too direct with his words and demanding someone to tell the reason as soon as they came back from unconscious state.

Seeing him staring with a blank look, Ren Wei snapped his finger to remind him that he still need the answer.

After some hesitation, he finally took a deep breath and decided to tell the true reason.

He looked Ren Wei and started telling what happened, including his identity.

After hearing all that, Ren Wei simply said. "So, what you are telling me is that it's not about some treasure. But rather a family matter?"

Then, both of them stopped talking, making the scene filled with awkward silence.

"Follow me." Ren Wei instructed as he went to the kitchen.

Ye Yu shortly followed him.

Inside the kitchen room, Ren Wei and Ye Yu sat just feet apart.

The reason Ren Wei was so casual and relaxed towards Ye Yu, a stranger. Was because he knew Ye Yu was just too weak to threaten him.

As he was cooking the fish, Ren Wei asked without turning his head. "So, what are your plans now? You can't just stay here."

Again, Ye Yu caught off by Ren Wei direct words.

With a smile, he answered. "Well, if my savior doesn't mind, I was thinking of staying here for sometime."

"Why?" Ren Wei asked.

"Ah.., this place is too far from the capital. And most likely, my enemies won't be able to find this place as I left using a spatial treasure." Ye Yu explained slowly.

Ren Wei Wen silent for sometime.

About a minute later, he spoke. "But I don't keep people for free."

Knowing that his savior agreed to his request, Ye Yu smiled and immediately said. "Don't worry Sir, I can do many things. Cleaning, cooking, and many other chores. I will do all that for you, sir."

"Um..." Ren Wei nodded his, agreeing to Ye Yu's words.

After some time, the dinner was done cooking. And both had their shares.

When the dinner was done. Ren Wei arranged for Ye Yu to sleep in his former children's room.

After instructing him not to mess up the room, Ren Wei went into his own room.

But instead of sleeping, Ren Wei open his treasure screen and studied the skill manual he got. The Grade 7 'Thousand Miles Ice Age' technique.

Pressing on the technique, he slowly digested the details of the technique in his mind.

Moments later, a message popped up.

Sitting on his bed, Ren Wei slowly opened his eyes and slowly exhaled.

Before he could rejoice, another notification arrived.

He clicked on the notification and opened it.

"4 days..huh." He murmured. "Its the longest time yet." Ever since he got the fishing treasure, it was his first time seeing the longest time of upgrade.

'I remember a game that take days in upgrading things.' Ren Wei felt a bit nostalgic when he saw the upgrading time.

"I better sleep for now." Yawning, he lay down and went to sleep.

On the other room, Ye Yu could not sleep. The scene of his crush betraying kept playing on his mind.

'Argh...' His groaned, inwardly, out of frustration.

Then, he sighed. He knew there was nothing he could do about it. And he realized how much of a fool he was.

Now, he lost all his things. No way back. Stuck in an unknown place. Maybe way farther than he expected.

If he asks around he probably would be able to find his way back. But he knew it was useless as it would take who knows how long.

And by the time he arrived at his clan, his brother might already become a strong man. But he still had a little bit of hope in his heart.

Suddenly, a thought hit him. "What if I do that? ..It seems feasible, I must try it." He murmured with a smile.
