Chapter 93: Another One Eliminated

Chojuro and Ranmaru stood side by side.

One of them looked timid, his eyes darting around nervously, while the other was simply a child. Across from them stood Ino, covered in blood, exuding an aura of a formidable villain.

Chojuro didn't think it was necessary for them to fight the Konoha ninja to the death.

On his side, their combat power was intact, while the opponent was injured. Wasn't the outcome obvious?

He shouted from a distance, "Hey, you... you're already injured. Just give up! Really, I'm saying this out of kindness. You can't beat us!"

Ino glanced at him. The future Sixth Mizukage was even less confident than she had imagined!

She sneered, "Can't beat you? I still have plenty of jutsu I haven't used yet! Earlier, the three of you ganged up on me. How glorious is that? Sure, getting injured is my fault, but I never expected Kirigakure to have a way to get all three of you through the genjutsu maze. Don't you think that's just despicable? While secretly taking medicine to heal her wounds and prepare for the next round of fighting, she continued to vent her frustration. Damn it, her palm had been pierced! It hurt like hell!

Her words had no effect on Ranmaru. Kirigakure? A month ago, Ranmaru had been working as a bandit, a promising career in his eyes. He had no real connection to Kirigakure.

Ino pointed at Chojuro, "The ones who should give up are you! Earlier, I had to face two opponents. Now, I only need to deal with you!"

Chojuro was drenched in sweat from the verbal onslaught and instinctively took a step back. Their own Mizukage was so gentle compared to this Konoha kunoichi. She was scarier than a tiger!

The timing, scale, and purpose of the jutsu were all impeccable.

Ino's mind was sharp. She knew who posed the greatest threat and didn't hesitate to expend a large amount of chakra to eliminate Ranmaru. In the mustached man's eyes, this decisive move was truly impressive.

As the water receded, Ino stood on the surface, panting heavily as she looked at Chojuro. "Hey, it's just the two of us now! Let's settle this!"

Ino didn't believe that three Great Water Collision Waves would be enough to defeat the future Sixth Mizukage. By using a signature jutsu of his village, she wanted to see how he would react.

Her jutsu, combined with the mustached man's applause, had provoked Chojuro.

The bespectacled boy gripped Hiramekarei tightly, stepped onto the waves, and charged forward with a roar.

The mustached man nodded in approval from the shadows. This boy still had some fighting spirit.

Whether he could win or not was another matter, but at least he wasn't backing down!

With his two teammates gone and Ino unable to maintain her shadow clones, let alone have them use jutsu, the two were now truly in a one-on-one duel.

When they were ten meters apart, Ino spat out a thin line of water.

It was the Second Hokage's signature Water Release technique Water Style: Water Severing Wave!

Chojuro was startled.

The Mutually Multiplying Explosive Tags were famous throughout the ninja world. They had killed many Kirigakure jonin in the past, and even he had read about them in books. He didn't know the exact mechanics, but he knew it was a technique that caused endless explosions.

Ino's use of the Water Severing Wave, combined with Kirigakure's intensive training, led him to misjudge the situation. He assumed Ino had received the same level of training in Konoha as he had in Kirigakure.

If she knew the Water Severing Wave, then she must also know the Mutually Multiplying Explosive Tags!

Without a second thought, he swung his sword from a distance, aiming to destroy the kunai before it could activate!
