White God Legend

Chapter 93: Final Choice

Royal Palace, Kaia and Emily returned to the inner courtyard with heavy hearts. "Why are you back so soon?" Sisi asked. Kaia replied, "Is Joduo here? There's something we'd like to discuss with everyone." "He went out somewhere this morning," Sisi answered. "Very well, we'll wait for him to return," Kaia said, sitting down. "Why do you both look so strange? Did something happen?" Sisi asked, puzzled. After a while, Joduo returned from the base. "Yo, why's everyone here?" he greeted. "Perfect timing. There's something we need to discuss together," Emily said.

Kaia recounted the entire story from beginning to end, and the atmosphere gradually fell into silence. After a long pause, Joduo asked, "Is everything you said true? How credible is that mysterious boy's words?" Kaia replied gravely, "I believe he was telling the truth. Under his guidance, both Emily and I saw our past lives on Earth. It was indeed heartbreaking and unforgettable." Emily added, "The next time that boy appears, we could ask him to restore our past-life memories. Perhaps then we'll find the answers we seek."

"If it's about past lives, let them stay in the past. I just want to live in the present. I may not know my experiences on Earth, but I love this world and this planet. I might choose to stay here," Judo said. "That's not a bad choice at all. Emily and I have been thinking the same," Kaia replied with a smile.

"If we return to Earth, will we still meet again? We might be scattered across different corners of the world, stripped of our current powers, becoming ordinary people who don't even remember each other," Sisi said wistfully. "That's something I've been thinking about too. Though I have family on Earth, I also have new family and friends here that I can't bear to leave," Emily said sadly. "Then, when the boy appears again, we'll convey our final decision to him," Kaia said, seeming resolute. Everyone nodded with a smile.

Divine Realm,"By the way, Master, since I can now come to the Divine Realm, does that mean I can freely travel to other planets in the universe as well?" I asked. "Haha, you still think of yourself as a mortal. You have already surpassed the gods of any planet. Even the planetary overseers of your home planet, Earth, would bow to you. Wherever you go in the universe, you stand above all beings, second only to the Divine Lord. Even my own The Power of the Universe can no longer compare to yours," Master Satitian said with a smile.

"Is that so? May I ask, Master, how much The Power of the Universe do you possess?" I inquired. "This old man has endured millions of tribulations and only reached 730 types of The Power of the Universe. Seeing your talent, I am convinced of the Divine Lord's judgment. We will do our utmost to train you and help you ascend as the new Lord of the Universe," Master Satitian replied, laughing."I feel unworthy of such a grand position. I just want to live my quiet little life," I said humbly. "You don't need to underestimate yourself. The choice of the gods is never wrong. All you need to do is strive to improve. Time will prove everything," he said. "Yes, this disciple will follow your teachings!" I replied respectfully. After a long day of training, with my prior experience, I requested an early dismissal from Master. After bidding him farewell, I returned to the courtyard. It wasn't too late yet. I headed to the kitchen and, as expected, found Enis preparing dinner. "I'm back, love!" I shouted as I entered. "You're back early today, darling!" Enis said, putting down her ladle and walking over. We embraced warmly. "I finished class early today so I wouldn't miss dinner." "I'm so happy! Let's cook together then," Enis said, pulling me over. "Sure thing," I said, tying on an apron to help. With our seamless teamwork, we quickly prepared a sumptuous dinner. As we enjoyed the meal together, I thought about what Master Satitian had said about my ability to travel freely across the universe. I wanted to visit my hometown, Earth. It had been a year, and I wondered how my parents were doing. I missed them dearly and hoped they had overcome their grief and started anew. I hesitated about appearing before them, worried it might scare them, but regardless, I was born on Earth, and my roots were there. I wanted to go back and see. "Love, tomorrow I'd like to visit my hometown, Earth, to check on my family. Would you come with me? I'll ask Master for a day off," I said suddenly. Enis put down her utensils. "Do you miss your family?" she asked."Yes. If it weren't for that accident, I'd still be living on Earth and wouldn't have been reborn here to meet you. Whether it was fate or chance, I have no regrets. But that homesickness still lingers. I want to visit Earth, like I did the human realm last time, to make sure my family is okay before returning," I said earnestly. "Alright. I'll support whatever you decide, darling. Let's leave early tomorrow then. By the way, how do we get to Earth? Our teleportation magic doesn't seem to work for distant planets," Enis said."No worries. Don't underestimate your man. I've advanced so much that I can now travel freely across the universe. Going to the Divine Realm or Earth is no problem at all," I said proudly with a grin. "Wow, you're amazing, darling! Let's set off tomorrow morning then," Enis agreed with a smile. We continued chatting and enjoying our dinner.
