Chapter 94: Return to Hometown Earth
Last night, I used telepathy to request a leave from Master Sati Tian and got approval. Today, we woke up early, and Enis and I were getting dressed in our room. I glanced at her gown and said, "Honey, that outfit might stand out a bit on Earth, and your eye color is one-of-a-kind there too." (Enis's beautiful reddish-purple pupils, while stunning, would seem unusual on Earth.) "How about this? I'll show you a list of common Earth clothing for you to browse. Pick one, and you can transform into it. As for your eyes, I can make a pair of sunglasses for you." "Alright, I'll follow your lead," Enis replied reluctantly. I conjured a fashion catalog with popular women's clothing on Earth. Enis flipped through it and chose a light beige dress, instantly transforming into it with her magic. "You look gorgeous in anything, honey," I complimented. I also crafted a pair of tinted glasses for her, making her pupils appear black, like those of an Asian person, when viewed from the outside. After getting ready, we had breakfast at the dining hall, fed the livestock at the farm, and ensured everything at home was in order. I took Enis's hand and said, "Let's go, honey." "Mm!" she replied with a smile. Using divine magic, I teleported us toward Earth.
Divine Realm,"This young man's absence today is fated, or rather, it's an opportunity for another breakthrough," Ao Tian said, stroking his beard.
"Please elaborate, Divine Lord," the divine officials asked.
"Heh, is he finally surpassing this old man? Next time, I hope you can surpass the God of the Other Cosmos," Ao Tian muttered to himself. The officials exchanged confused glances, unable to follow.
I pictured my hometown in my mind and, using divine magic, instantly teleported to Earth. It had been over a year since I left. Looking at the sky, I noticed it wasn't morning but evening—apparently, there's a time difference between Duoduo Star and Earth. "So this is your hometown? It's so different from my planet!" Enis said, curiously looking around. We had arrived at a quiet spot I deliberately chose—a small alley I used to walk through when returning home. I avoided teleporting to a busy area to prevent causing a stir. What's the date on Earth? I wondered, scanning the surroundings. Holding Enis's hand, we walked along the path. Then, I spotted an LED billboard on a nearby shop displaying the time: July 8, 2023, 5:36 PM. Finally, I knew the date and time. Overwhelmed with nostalgia for these familiar streets, I decided to take Enis for a stroll since it was still early and I knew the area well. In about ten minutes, we could reach the downtown area. "Come on, let me show you my hometown," I said, pulling her along. We arrived at a small pedestrian street filled with shops and bustling traffic. Enis's eyes widened, taking in the sights as if she'd entered a new world. Passersby were drawn to her striking beauty—her looks were among the finest in the universe. "Is she a celebrity?" "Wow, that woman's gorgeous!" people whispered. Her elegance and grace captivated everyone, men and women alike, drawing curious stares wherever we went. "Is that her boyfriend? So jealous!" a few young people murmured. I started feeling a bit jealous myself. Enis was mine alone, and I didn't like the way others were ogling her. I quickened our pace, pulling her away.Enis seemed to sense my mood. "Don't worry, honey. I'm used to this kind of attention in the human and demon realms. Let's just act even closer and let them be jealous," she comforted me. "You're right. I was being petty. The more they stare, the more we'll show off our love and leave them envious," I said, wrapping my arm around her as we continued walking.
