WHAT A TWIST!

Chapter 117: Chapter 117;BEYOND THE EDGE

Chapter 117

The loud siren pierced the air, shattering the monotony of the school day. Students gathered outside, their faces etched with concern and curiosity. The ambulance's flashing lights cast an eerie glow on the scene, illuminating the paramedics as they rolled a stretcher out of the school.

The stretcher bore a body, covered with a sheet, and the students' whispers turned to gasps as they realized who it was. Na Yeon, the girl who had been pushed to the edge, had taken a devastating leap of faith off the rooftop. A student who had happened to pass by had seen her body on the ground and raised the alarm, setting off a chain reaction of events that would leave the school reeling.

The principal stood outside, her face ashen, as she watched the paramedics load Na Yeon's body into the ambulance. Her eyes were fixed on the stretcher, her expression a mix of shock, sadness, and regret.

The students were in a state of shock, their conversations hushed and somber. "Oh my god, she died!" one of them whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "Why would she take her life?" another student asked, her eyes wide with confusion and concern.

The questions hung in the air, unanswered, as the reality of the situation began to sink in. Na Yeon was gone,The students' murmurs and gasps filled the air, a cacophony of shock and grief that would echo through the halls for days to come.

Meanwhile, Na Yeon's family was in total shock, especially her mother, The news had come as a bolt out of the blue, and she was left grappling with the devastating consequences of her daughter's actions.

As the ambulance drove away, the students slowly began to disperse.

The news of Na Yeon's passing sent shockwaves through the school, and the students who had been merciless in their criticism were left stunned and speechless. They had hurled their hurtful words like daggers, never stopping to consider the devastating impact they might have on Na Yeon's fragile psyche.

As they stood in the hallway, frozen in grief and guilt, they couldn't help but wonder what they had been expecting. Had they thought Na Yeon would somehow magically shrug off their cruel jabs and emerge unscathed? Or had they simply not cared about the consequences of their actions?

The reality was harsh and unforgiving. Na Yeon had felt trapped, suffocated by the weight of her own pain and the cruel words of those around her. And in the end, she had seen no other escape, no other way to break free from the agony that had consumed her.

The tables had turned, and the students who had once gleefully shared and commented on the pictures of Na Yeon were now consumed by a single question: "Who took those pictures and posted them?" The finger-pointing had begun, and suspicion hung in the air like a challenge.

Rumors and speculation swirled through the school, with some students pointing fingers at certain individuals who had been known to spread rumors and gossip. Others whispered about anonymous social media accounts that seemed to revel in other people's misery.

Na yeon's father was pressuring the school's administration to identify the person responsible for taking and posting the pictures, and to take swift action against them.

As the investigation began, the school's social media groups were abuzz with theories and accusations. Some students claimed to have seen suspicious activity on certain accounts, while others shared screenshots of potentially incriminating messages.

The question on everyone's mind was simple yet profound: who had been behind the camera, capturing Na Yeon's most vulnerable moments and sharing them with the world? And what had driven them to do so?

The principal's chair creaked softly as she leaned back, her eyes fixed on the phone as she spoke in a measured tone. "Yes, please... Someone had posted those pictures and that had everyone talking, and she couldn't take it." Her voice was laced with a mix of sadness and frustration, the weight of Na Yeon's tragic story bearing down on her shoulders.

As she paused to listen to the person on the other end of the line, her expression turned serious, her brow furrowed in concern. "Please make investigations," she said firmly, her voice resolute. "Thank you." The call ended, and she let out a deep sigh, the sound echoing through the quiet office.

With a sense of purpose, she gathered the papers on her desk, her hands moving with a quiet efficiency. She stood up, her movements deliberate, and headed out of her office, the papers clutched tightly in her hand.

I gazed at Hyun Min, his head resting on the table, his chest rising and falling with each gentle breath. The soft glow of the lights above cast a warm ambiance, and for a moment, I forgot about the tension that had simmered between us and Racy. But the memory of Racy's flirtatious behavior lingered, and I couldn't help but wonder what her true intentions were. Was she trying to get close to Hyun Min, or was it just a harmless gesture?

I pushed the thoughts aside and focused on waking Hyun Min up. I tapped his arm gently, calling out to him in a soft voice, "Oppa... Oppa...!" He stirred, one of his eyes slowly opening as he looked at me with a drowsy expression. After a moment, he raised his head, his hair messy from sleep, and his eyes still heavy with exhaustion.

"I'm so sorry... Just exhausted" he said, his voice husky from sleep, his words laced with a hint of apology. I smiled and replied, "It's okay, don't worry about it. I'll walk you to your room." He stood up, his movements sluggish, his face still bearing the signs of exhaustion. I took his hand, feeling a spark of electricity as our palms touched. His hand was warm and comforting, and I felt a deep sense of connection with him.

As we walked, he raised his hoodie cap over his head, the soft fabric a contrast to the rugged look it gave him. "Thanks for taking care of me, Sarah," he said, his voice still husky from sleep. I just smiled
