WHAT A TWIST!

Chapter 111: Chapter 111;CHEATING AND SUSPENSE

Chapter 111

The hall was a sea of focused faces, each student intent on their own exam. Some were scribbling furiously, their pens moving swiftly across the page, while others sat frozen, their eyes fixed on the questions with a look of uncertainty.

Students began to cheat, Some used invisible ink to scribble notes on their skin or on tiny pieces of paper hidden in their pockets. Others went further, writing crucial answers on each other's backs or arms, hidden beneath their clothing.

A group of students had developed a system of subtle hand gestures, conveying answers to each other without making a sound. Another student had stuck a tiny note to the sole of her shoe, peeking at it discreetly whenever she needed to reference a key concept.

As the proctors patrolled the aisles, they seemed oblivious to the elaborate cheating schemes unfolding around them. But the reality was that some students were getting away with it, at least for now.

One student had even gone so far as to write notes on her water bottle label, hoping to sneak a peek without arousing suspicion. Another had hidden a tiny earpiece in his ear, receiving whispered answers from an accomplice outside the hall.

The cheating seemed to escalate as the exam progressed. More and more students were employing creative tactics, from hidden notes in pencil cases to whispered consultations with classmates. It was like a game, with the students constantly adapting and innovating to stay one step ahead of the proctors.

But just as it seemed like the cheaters had gotten away with it, one of the proctors spotted something suspicious. "Hey, stand up!" she barked, her voice echoing through the hall. "What are you doing? This exam is over for you!"

The student in question, caught red-handed with a cheat sheet hidden in her calculator case, looked like she had been caught in a nightmare. As she was escorted out of the hall, the room fell silent, the tension palpable.

The proctor's voice rang out again, a stern warning to the remaining students. "Anyone caught cheating will face severe consequences. You have been warned."

The exam continued, but the atmosphere had changed. The students who had been cheating looked nervous and on edge, while those who had chosen to play by the rules seemed more determined than ever to succeed on their own merits.

As the proctor walked around, she noticed more suspicious behavior. "You, stand up!" she said to another student. "What's going on here?"

This student was caught with notes written on her arm, and she too was escorted out of the hall. The proctor continued to patrol the aisles, determined to catch any other students who were cheating.

In total, ten students were caught cheating and removed from the exam hall. The remaining students breathed a sigh of relief, but they knew that the consequences of cheating were severe. The exam continued, with a renewed sense of focus and determination among the students who had chosen to play by the rules.

The exam hall was a scene of intense focus, the air thick with the weight of anticipation. But amidst the sea of studious faces, I couldn't help but notice the commotion unfolding around me. Students were being escorted out of the hall, their faces etched with guilt and shame. Cheating, it seemed, was a losing game.

I shook my head, my eyes returning to the questions in front of me. It was challenging, but I felt a sense of confidence wash over me as I recalled the countless hours hyun min and I had spent studying together. His teachings had been invaluable, and I was grateful for the hard work we had put in.

As I scribbled down answers, the proctors patrolled the aisles, their watchful eyes scanning the room for any sign of misconduct.

As I stepped out of the exam hall, the cool breeze caressed my skin, a gentle reprieve from the suffocating tension that had gripped me for what felt like an eternity. The complicated maths questions still swirled in my mind, a jumbled mess of numbers and formulas, but I knew I had done my best. Tomorrow loomed, another exam waiting to test my mettle, but for now, I needed to see Hyun Min. I hadn't seen Racy yet, and I wondered if she was done with her exam. My feet seemed to move of their own accord, carrying me to Hyun Min's room with a sense of purpose.

As I approached the door, I noticed it was slightly ajar, a sliver of warm light spilling out into the hallway. I slowed down my pace, my curiosity piqued by the hushed tones. I tiptoed to a corner, trying not to be seen, and listened intently. ChuChu stood there, her slender frame silhouetted against the dim glow, her voice barely audible as she spoke words that cut through the air like a whispered secret. "Oppa, I won't bother you again, I promise." Her tone was laced with a mix of sadness and determination.

I held my breath, listening as Hyun Min responded, his tone firm but laced with an undercurrent of emotion that sent shivers down my spine. "Then why come here to say it? What's the point of this visit?" The words hung in the air, heavy with unspoken meaning, like a challenge thrown down.

ChuChu spoke again, her voice trembling like a leaf in an autumn breeze. "Just a favour, Oppa... give me a hug. That's all I ask." The words were a plea, a desperate cry from the heart that seemed to echo through the hallway. The air was thick with tension. I waited for Hyun Min's response, my heart pounding in my chest. Would he grant her request, his strong arms wrapping around her like a shield? Or would he push her away, leaving her to crumble like dust? The uncertainty hung in the balance, and I found myself frozen, eager to know the outcome.
