WHAT A TWIST!

Chapter 104: Chapter 104;THE BEAUTY OF NOW

Chapter 104

The glow of the screen illuminated Hyun Min's face as he stared at the message Sarah sent, she was coming to his room??

He quickly typed out the directions to his room, detailing it.

The phone's shrill ring cut through the silence, and he answered with a mixture of amusement and exasperation. Sarah's voice, laced with frustration, spilled out of the receiver. "Which one is your room? There are three rooms in front of me, and I'm starting to lose my mind!" Her words were punctuated by the soft rustle of fabric and the distant hum of the building's air conditioning.

"Hold on," he said, his voice a gentle balm to her frazzled nerves. He stepped out into the fluorescent-lit hallway, his gaze sweeping the distance until it landed on Sarah's slender figure. Her dark hair gleamed like polished mahogany under the harsh lighting, and a small smile played on his lips as he raised a hand in greeting. She hurried towards him, her footsteps light on the floor, her eyes fixed on his face with a mixture of relief and annoyance.

As she approached, he pushed the door open wider, and she slipped inside, a faint smile on her face. The aroma of steaming coffee wafted through the air, mingling with the sweet scent of her perfume. She held out two cups, the liquid within trembling slightly as she moved, and her eyes sparkled with a hint of mischief. "I brought coffee," she said, her voice barely above a whisper, "to bribe my way into your good books."

*Sarah pov*

I sat on the bed, closed the door behind him. He took a sip of the cofee, his eyes closing in appreciation, and nodded to himself. As he approached me, coffee in hand, I couldn't help but feel a sense of comfort in his presence. "Sit," I told him, my voice soft, and he obliged, settling onto the bed beside me.

I climbed onto the bed, positioning myself behind him. "What are you doing?" he asked, his voice tinged with curiosity. I wrapped my arms around his head, gently pushing up strands of hair to expose his ears. My fingers brushed against the delicate skin, and he relaxed into my touch.

Memories flooded my mind as I continued to caress his ears. When I was little, my mom would do this to keep me warm on cold nights. She'd whisper softly, her breath a gentle breeze against my skin. Now, as a teenager,I found myself replicating the gesture with Hyun Min. The familiarity of the action brought a sense of calm.

"This will keep you a bit warm." I said as I let my hands continue their gentle ministration on his ears.

Hyun Min's tension dissipated, replaced by a sense of tranquility. He leaned back into me, and I wrapped my arms around him, holding him close.

As I finished, my fingers began to play with the soft strands of his hair, the scent of his shampoo wafting up to tease my senses. "You have exquisite hair," I murmured, my fingers absently tracing the lines of his scalp. He chuckled, the low rumble vibrating through his chest, and I couldn't help but smile.

I slid off the bed, my movements fluid, and settled beside him, our thighs touching. His eyes met mine, and I could see the faintest glimmer of amusement still dancing in their depths. "About today..." he began, but I cut him off, my hand waving dismissively. "It's fine. I'm consumed by curiosity," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. "Why do you bear Jason too?. It's so...Western."

He sighed, his shoulders relaxing into the mattress, and a small, introspective smile played on his lips. "My grandmother," he started, his voice low and soothing. "She's a British native, and when I was born, she gave me the name Jason." His eyes seemed to drift into the past as he continued, "She met my grandfather, a Korean man with a passion for cultural exchange, and they built a life together. They had my dad and his siblings, and their love for different cultures only grew stronger."

As he spoke, his words painted a vivid picture of his family's history. "My grandparents founded this school with a vision to bridge cultural gaps and foster global understanding. And when my dad grew up as the first son, he took on the responsibility of renovating the school, ensuring it remained a beacon of knowledge and exchange for generations to come."

I listened intently, my mind weaving together the threads of his story. The history behind his name, the legacy of his family, and the school that held such significance for them all.

I smiled "Every corner of the school has been thoughtfully designed, from the way the natural light pours in through the windows to the intricate details in the architecture. It's a place where students can learn, grow, and thrive, and I'm grateful to have come here."

"I'm getting a bit sleepy," Hyun Min murmured, his voice low and husky as he sank into the bed, the softness enveloping him like a gentle cloud. I wandered over to the window, my gaze drifting out into the rain-soaked evening. The droplets slid down the glass like tears, casting a melancholy spell over the room.

"We weren't finished talking," I reminded him, my voice firm but gentle, as I stood beside the bed.

Hyun Min's eyes flickered open, a mischievous glint dancing in their depths. "Come here, then," he invited, his voice laced with a playful challenge.

I raised an eyebrow, a warning etched on my face. "Don't do anything silly," I cautioned, trying to sound stern despite the smile tugging at the corners of my mouth.

Hyun Min's grin grew wider, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "I can't promise," he said, his voice dripping with sincerity, or rather, a lack thereof.
