Warhammer: Saiyan Adopted by the Wolf King

Chapter 51: Chapter 51: Cultivating Saibamen with Primarch Blood

At first glance, anyone would have thought a Saibaman was just another grunt, barely 1.4 meters tall, scrawny to the extreme.

Its head was oversized and green, its limbs short and stubby, and no matter how you looked at it, it didn't seem intimidating in the slightest.

If an ordinary Space Marine came across these little creatures, their first instinct would probably have been to fire a bolter round at it without a second thought.

"It has a combat power of 1,300. And with Ki as support, it could even put up a fight against you," Axis explained.

With Ki, a Saibaman could fly, move at incredible speed, so fast that the naked eye could barely keep up. It could fire energy blasts and, with a single shot, destroy a satellite, these were standard abilities.

On top of that, Saibamen had another trick, they could spit a powerful corrosive acid from their heads.

Most deadly of all was their self-destruct attack.

By Axis's estimate, a Saibaman with a combat power of 1,300 could seriously injure, if not outright kill, even a Primarch if caught in the blast.

Axis, after taking a deep breath, said, "Dad, This little guy's all yours!"

Given Russ's current combat strength, the Saibaman wouldn't have dared resist.

Even without Ki, Russ's power as a Primarch-combined with his Terminator armor-made subduing a Saibaman almost laughably easy.

Axis even made time to enhance Russ further, using his own Ki to boost him to a whole new level.

"What am I supposed to do with this little monster? I can't exactly take it out into battle," Russ grumbled.

The green creature was hardly fit to fight with.

It looked more like an alien abomination, barely even qualifying as an abhuman or mutant.

"I'm not giving it to you to fight with. Ki can enhance a person's physical abilities. You could use this little guy's Ki to strengthen the warriors of your Wolf Pack," Axis said.

"I suppose that's possible, but my Children would probably be repulsed by such a strange creature, let alone accept its power. They might even see it as blasphemy," Russ replied.

"Then let's just cultivate another one, something more like an abhuman, or a mutant. That should work, right?" Axis suggested.

The Saibaman seeds were incredibly versatile.

When the Saiyans first discovered them, the Saibamen on that planet had an average combat power of just over a hundred.

Later, the Saiyans brought the Saibamen back and handed them over to alien scientists for further cultivation and research.

After meticulous care and breeding, they finally produced Saibamen with a combat power reaching 1,200.

If a native Saibaman had started out with that much strength, their entire species would have been terrifying, perhaps even more so than the Orks, given their incredible reproduction rate.

If a Saibaman didn't die in battle, it would bloom like a plant after ten years.

Then it would bear seeds, and as long as those seeds landed in soil and met water, a new Saibaman would sprout up from the ground.

And there were even more ways to play with Saibamen. In the latest Dragon Ball anime, "Dragon Ball Heroes: Big Demon Saga," Saibaman seeds made a return, and new creative uses were shown.

By combining the seeds with parts of Majin Buu's cells, Marba managed to cultivate two incredibly powerful Saibamen Majins, one called Majin Kuu and Majin Duu.

One was fat, the other skinny, a clear tribute to Majin Buu's different forms.

Both proved to be powerful in combat.

The fat Majin, after seeing Goku transform into Super Saiyan 3, even managed to transform into a unique variant of Super Saiyan 3 with mimicry, although it was shortlived.

Even the weaker, skinny Majin was show to content with a Super Saiyan for a while.

There were even upgraded versions of the planting soil.

The Warhammer universe boasted the infamous world of Catachan.

On that planet, both plants and animals were ferocious to the extreme, earning them the nickname Catachan Devils.

If he took Saibaman seeds to Catachan and planted them there, just how powerful would the resulting Saibamen be?

Axis had no idea if the Imperium had discovered Catachan yet, it was still early in the Great Crusade, after all.

Many Imperial worlds remained undiscovered.

Axis only remembered that the planet lay somewhere within the Ultima Segmentum, but he had no clue about the exact coordinates.

Maybe he could try other methods to cultivate Saibamen, like adding the blood of other powerful lifeforms. The Warhammer universe had no shortage of monstrous creatures: certain Orks, Eldar, even Tyranids.

Or what about the blood of a Primarch? Axis narrowed his eyes, glancing at his conveniently nearby father.

Using a Primarch's blood to cultivate Saibamen, now that sounded promising.

"Little brat, you're up to something, aren't you?" Russ squinted at him.

"Ahem, my dear Father, I'm doing this all for you! How about donating a little of your blood?" Axis grinned.

"What do you want my blood for?"

"These Saibamen may be able to absorb the blood of other species to evolve themselves," Axis explained.

Saibamen were extremely useful, but there were pros and cons.

They reproduced rapidly, if too many were bred, even the Saiyans couldn't keep them under control.

That's why their numbers were always tightly restricted. Any elite warrior would never take more than ten Saibamen into battle; any more, and they might revolt if you couldn't keep them in check.

"I get it. How much do you need? A whole bowl?" Russ asked.

"Just a dozen milliliters is enough. No need for that much," Axis replied.

Russ nodded.

They began the second round of planting. This time, Axis buried the seed much deeper, almost all the way to the bottom of the pot.

Russ cut his palm, letting his blood pour generously onto the seed.

Axis quickly covered it up, grabbed a large jug of high-grade nutrient solution, and poured it all on.

Then he pressed his palm to the soil and began channeling Ki into the seed.

Right away, Axis could tell that this seed was absorbing far more Ki than the previous one, at least ten times as much.

After taking in all that Ki, the seed finally started to sprout.

A minute later, a violent tremor shook the massive pot, which then exploded apart with a deafening bang.

Axis immediately sensed a powerful Ki signature.

He quickly formed a green barrier of Ki to keep the commotion from spreading beyond the room.

When the smoke cleared, a humanoid figure appeared before them, two meters tall, with pale green skin, pointed ears, a round head, and a peculiar, alien appearance.

After absorbing the Primarch's blood, this Saibaman had inherited many human traits.

Aside from being green, having pointed ears, and lacking any reproductive organs, it was otherwise almost indistinguishable from a human.

You could easily call it an abhuman.

"Dad!" the creature called out.
