Warhammer: Saiyan Adopted by the Wolf King

Chapter 47: Chapter 47: Exterminatus Order, Reunion with Russ

Since he had already been deployed himself, and there was a powerful psyker responsible for wiping the memories of everyone on the ship afterward, it would have been redundant to send his cheap old man along as well.

'Wait a minute!'

Maybe there was another possibility, maybe this mission was actually meant to be carried out by him and Russ together.

Perhaps the Emperor had planned everything out in advance, and after this mission, he would finally be allowed to return to the Space Wolves.

A sudden realization struck Axis, and he glanced at Kasha, who stood beside him.

She was the one the Emperor had sent for this mission.

Noticing Axis's shifting gaze, Kasha smiled and spoke:

"Axis, after this mission is over, you will return to the Space Wolves. Your father is only here to handle the aftermath."

It was not enough to simply erase the memories of everyone on the ship, nearby Imperial worlds, some of their residents, even certain regular Imperial troops, all would need to be purged.

This was to ensure that not a single person would remember anything about the Second Legion.

Not even the faintest rumor could be allowed to survive.

"You mean, this time it's not just about destroying the Second Legion?"

Axis asked. "Even the mortal armies under their command, and the civilians on the nearby Imperial worlds, do they all have to be destroyed as well?"

Axis suddenly realized something: in this cesspit of a universe, Chaos might be loathsome, but the Emperor's Imperium wasn't much better.

If one had to compare, then the Imperium founded by the Emperor was like the first level of hell, while the worlds ruled by Chaos were the eighteenth layer.

Ordinary humans in the Imperium could hardly hope to live a good life, even if they did nothing wrong.

And that was just in the 30K era; things would only get worse and more horrifying by the time of 40K.

In comparison, the T'au Empire's "Greater Good" really did offer a much better life for the common people, which was precisely why it attracted so many humans and xenos races.

It really was that appealing.

In theory at least, the basic citizens lived far better than those under the Imperium!

By harnessing not only humans but also other xenos, the Tau even managed to conjure up their own "Goddess T'au'va", though the T'au themselves had almost no psychic potential, the goddess was created almost entirely thanks to the efforts of other races, with humans contributing the most.

This alone was proof of how much potential the human race held. The Emperor had received ten thousand years of worship from all humanity, and that alone was enough to make him an existence rivaling even the four great Chaos gods!

Axis couldn't help but think: what if, just what if, he himself accepted the prayers and worship of humanity?

Would he be able to become a real Super Saiyan God?

To become a Super Saiyan God, five righteous Saiyans needed to channel their energy into another Saiyan, thus creating a god of the entire race.

That condition didn't seem so difficult, but in the Warhammer universe, it was basically impossible, even if he fathered children with human women,

Even if he fathered half-blood Saiyans, they still wouldn't have "Ki"; he alone possessed it, so becoming a Super Saiyan God was impossible.

If he stuck to the pure Super Saiyan route, then Super Saiyan 4 would probably be his limit, even with the Legendary Super Saiyan form, it wouldn't change things.

Legendary Super Saiyan was rare and precious, but he was no Broly from the new movie, able to wield the Great Ape's power in human form.

After fighting for just thirty minutes, Broly could go from an ordinary Saiyan to thrashing Super Saiyan Blue. Axis was a Legendary Super Saiyan, but he wasn't Broly.

At best, he was on the level of Kale, the berserk Saiyan, a Legendary Super Saiyan formed after the fact.

Super Saiyan was all about pure physical power, while God Ki was the precise mastery of Ki, an all-around ascension, a complete transformation of self.

Maybe he should think about something else, like becoming a God of War, or a God of Destruction?

"That's right! In the name of the Emperor, we are to wield the holy authority granted by him and carry out Exterminatus.

"But it won't be us executing it, it will be your father, Leman Russ," Kasha said.

Axis seemed a bit distracted just now, was he thinking about his father, or perhaps sympathizing with the innocent civilians about to be wiped out?

"I understand. Let's go see my father," Axis nodded.

His response surprised Kasha; she'd expected Axis to at least try pleading for those ordinary people, but there was no such intention, not a hint of emotion.

He was completely unmoved by the impending Exterminatus, even though it meant the death of tens of billions.

And all for the sake of secrecy.

What Kasha didn't know was that Saiyans didn't care about the lives of others. Saiyans weren't the type for overflowing compassion.

Saiyans were born cold-blooded executioners, exterminators, Axis himself had destroyed every living species on a planet when he was just four.

"Let's go see your father," Kasha said, and went to prepare a landing craft to head to the Space Wolves' Gloriana-class battleship.

A small landing craft launched from their battleship and quickly reached the Gloriana-class battleship.

After running a data and identity check, the great ship opened its hangar, allowing the craft to dock inside.

At this time, in the central command of the Gloriana, the Wolf King was with his children, discussing the plan for this mission.

Then, they suddenly received an order from the Imperium, a Custodian squad would be arriving to assist with the Exterminatus operation.

"Great Wolf Father, is the All-Father worried that we can't handle this task? He's even sent a squad of Custodian envoys,"

A Space Wolves captain looked at Russ and asked.

Since their founding, the Space Wolves had served as the Emperor's executioners for over twenty years, they had never once failed a mission.

But carrying out Exterminatus against a Primarch was a first.

"Great Wolf Father, do we really have to carry out Exterminatus on defenseless civilians?"

Within the legion, there were quite a few who objected to slaughtering innocents.

"This time is different. After all, we're dealing with one of my brothers. The Emperor probably doubts I can handle him alone,

"so he's sent the Custodians for support.

"As for the Exterminatus order, it's the Emperor's command. All we need to do is obey," Russ replied.

Cleansing a Primarch was no simple matter.

And this could never be allowed to leak out; carrying out Exterminatus was a necessity.

At that moment, sixteen Custodians arrived alongside Axis and Kasha, stepping into the heart of the Gloriana-class battleship.
