Warframe Voidwalker : Multiverse Journey

Chapter 102: Chapter 102: Enhancement

With a large collection of Amplifier Crystals now manufactured, Marcus could strengthen his Warframes and weapons in various ways.

Excalibur, which possessed the strongest offensive capabilities in Marcus's arsenal, could now release attacks with different elemental properties by changing energy colors after integrating the Chromatic Blade augment. This versatility would allow him to handle a wide range of combat situations.

Picking up the specialized crystal, Marcus channeled energy through his palm, fusing it into the Excalibur Warframe.

Whoosh!

With a wave of his hand, a brilliant blue Exalted Sword materialized. Arcs of electricity danced across its energy blade, signifying its electrical properties.

The electricity-infused blade satisfied him greatly. With a thought, the energy color began to shift, transitioning from blue to red.

The electrical current surrounding the Exalted Sword disappeared, replaced by scorching flames.

Now transformed into a crimson blade, its element changed from electricity to fire. The intense heat radiating from it raised the temperature of the entire laboratory by several degrees.

Noticing the rising temperature and concerned about his equipment malfunctioning, Marcus changed the energy color once more, shifting from red to white.

Hiss!

White vapor emanated from the Exalted Sword as frigid energy spread outward. The laboratory's temperature plummeted rapidly, with ice crystals forming on the wall nearest to the blade.

White energy represented cold, the counterpart to heat. Though the blade now appeared to be wreathed in freezing mist, its destructive power remained undiminished—the might of the Exalted Sword was still formidable.

After the laboratory returned to a normal temperature, the Exalted Sword changed again, this time turning green.

Now viscous green energy coated the sword's surface, clinging to the energy blade like a second skin.

Green represented toxin—a deadly poison that required only a small wound to spread rapidly through an opponent's system.

These four different elements allowed Marcus to handle a variety of combat scenarios. Most importantly, he could swap between these elements by changing the elemental Amplifier Crystals.

This adaptability meant he could unleash attacks with different properties against different types of enemies.

Dismissing the Exalted Sword, Marcus's body flashed with light as he transformed into Xaku, the Void Reverberation frame.

Xaku's attack capabilities had proven somewhat limited in his previous battles, so he planned to enhance this frame's offensive potential.

After careful consideration among his Amplifier Crystals, eight different crystals appeared in his hand:

[Blind Rage]

[Transient Fortitude]

[Overextended]

[Intensity]

[Primed Flow]

[Augur Reach]

[Primed Continuity]

[Augur Secrets]

These represented the most powerful combination Marcus could currently produce. With more advanced crafting technology, he could eventually create even stronger Amplifier Crystals, but for now, these would significantly improve Xaku's abilities.

"If I faced Apocalypse again now, he wouldn't break free so easily," Marcus mused.

With these enhancements, Xaku's ability strength had increased to 239%—more than double its previous power.

Using this enhanced Warframe against Apocalypse would likely result in a decisive victory. But this was just the beginning.

Given enough time to master advanced Amplifier Crystal manufacturing, Riven modification technology, and even develop his own custom crystal research, he could make his Warframes exponentially more powerful.

"This will do for now," he decided. "Next, I need to work on crafting advanced Amplifier Crystals and Riven mods. If I can master crystal development technology, I could design entirely new specialized crystals."

Marcus proceeded to enhance his other Warframes with different crystal combinations, strengthening his entire arsenal.

Next came his weapons and equipment. With fewer items to enhance, this process moved more quickly.

His twin Aklex pistols, Energy Blade, and War melee weapon received appropriate Amplifier Crystals, significantly increasing their destructive capabilities.

After enhancing his existing gear, Marcus continued operating the Foundry. With the machine readily available, he decided to create additional equipment—especially weapons and ammunition—to cover various combat scenarios.

Under his guidance, the laboratory's materials rapidly diminished while his equipment stockpile grew.

Most notably, he produced various ammunition types—enough to wage a small war without relying on his Warframe abilities.

He picked up a newly manufactured sniper rifle, running his hand along its unique frame. Unlike conventional sniper rifles, this weapon resembled an oversized, heavily modified revolver—complete with a five-round cylinder magazine.

"I doubt anyone in this reality has ever seen a sniper rifle like this," Marcus thought with amusement. If he showed this weapon to others, they'd likely think it was a joke.

Setting down the Vectis, Marcus picked up a Paris bow. He would never forget this weapon—the image of its arrows striking spacecraft remained vivid in his mind.

The Paris differed substantially from normal bows. It utilized magnetic field technology to store energy, allowing its arrows to penetrate thick armor plating.

Testing the drawstring, he noted that the physical force required wasn't excessive. Instead, when pulled back, a concentrated magnetic force gathered at the point where he held the string.

"A magnetic accelerator disguised as a bow?" he mused.

Smiling, he set down the Paris. Though he understood its design principles, achieving the spacecraft-piercing power he remembered would require further mastery of Amplifier Crystal technology.

After enhancing all his equipment, Marcus stored everything—weapons and Amplifier Crystals alike—in his spatial belt.

Now he turned his attention to the Phoenix breath he had collected earlier. Perhaps he could derive some unique power from this Phoenix Force residue.

Void energy flowed through his fingers as the Phoenix breath, still wrapped in Void power, materialized in his palm.

"I wonder what benefits this Phoenix Force residue might offer," he pondered.

He understood the significance of the Phoenix Force—a primordial cosmic power born at the beginning of all things.

Though this was merely a trace amount, contaminated with the Phoenix's essence, it might still be harnessed to manifest a fraction of that cosmic power if used properly.

Holding the Phoenix aura, Marcus contemplated its potential applications, considering how best to utilize this cosmic energy.

"That's it!" Marcus exclaimed, clapping his hands together as inspiration struck. "I know exactly what to make with this."
