Vampire Queen : Fated Love

Chapter 32: Chapter 32 : Josh Propose Again ! Sarah accept!?

As the evening stretched on, the warmth of the sunset cast a golden glow across the mansion.

Sarah sat quietly on the plush sofa, her hands delicately folded on her lap, but her mind was far from serene.

The memories of Ibram—his smile, his kindness, his untimely death—played on a loop in her head. Her hatred for Eithan and his family burned like a quiet flame.

She was convinced that Eithan was the one who had killed Ibram, though in reality, it had been Josh.

---

Yet, she used her bitterness toward Eithan as fuel for her carefully plotted revenge.

Sarah had always been good at masking her emotions. To the others, she appeared calm, sweet, and perhaps even shy.

To Josh, she was warm and attentive, playing the perfect role of a woman who could one day be by his side.

But underneath the surface, she was coldly calculating, each move designed to bring her closer to her ultimate goal: the destruction of this family, piece by piece.

Tonight, her plan was in motion.

She had decided to make Josh propose to her again.

The memory of his first proposal during his sister's ring ceremony brought a faint smile to her lips.

He had been so earnest, so hopeful, but she had rejected him then.

At the time, she wasn't ready—her grief for Ibram was too fresh, her plans still unformed. But now, things were different. Now, she was ready to take the next step.

---

Josh, meanwhile, was in high spirits. After his earlier disagreement with Eithan and Adi, he had spent time reflecting on the importance of family.

But his thoughts inevitably returned to Sarah.

There was something about her that captivated him.

She was different from anyone he'd ever met—graceful, intelligent, and with a quiet strength that intrigued him.

As he walked into the hall room, he spotted Sarah sitting by the window, her figure bathed in the warm light of the setting sun. She looked almost ethereal, like a vision out of a dream.

His heart raced as he approached her, a nervous energy bubbling within him.

He had no idea that tonight, Sarah would use his feelings to her advantage.

"Sarah," Josh said softly, taking a seat beside her.

"You look… peaceful."

Sarah turned to him with a soft smile, her eyes holding a touch of sadness that only added to her allure.

"Looks can be deceiving," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper.

Josh frowned slightly.

"Is something bothering you?"

Sarah hesitated, knowing exactly how to play this moment.

"It's nothing," she said, shaking her head.

"I was just thinking about… life. How fleeting it is. How we should cherish the moments we have with the people we care about."

Josh leaned closer, his concern evident.

"You can talk to me, Sarah. You know that, right?"

She placed a hand lightly on his arm, her touch sending a jolt through him.

"I know, Josh. And I appreciate it more than you know."

For a moment, there was silence between them, the kind of silence that was heavy with unspoken words. Then Sarah decided it was time to act.

She shifted slightly, her expression softening further as she looked up at him.

"Josh," she began, her voice trembling just enough to seem genuine.

"I've been thinking a lot about what you said to me before… at your sister's ceremony."

Josh blinked, caught off guard.

"You mean… when I proposed?"

Sarah nodded, her gaze steady.

"Yes. I wasn't ready then, but… things have changed. You've changed. And now… I think I'm ready to give us a chance."

Josh's heart skipped a beat. For a moment, he could hardly believe what he was hearing.

The woman he had dreamed about, the woman who had rejected him once, was now opening her heart to him.

He felt a rush of emotions—joy, excitement, and a sense of validation that he hadn't even realized he needed.

"Sarah," he said, his voice thick with emotion.

"Are you… are you saying you'll marry me?"

Sarah smiled, a bittersweet curve of her lips that hinted at a vulnerability she didn't truly feel.

"Yes, Josh. I'll marry you."

---

Josh stood abruptly, his excitement almost childlike. He reached for her hands, pulling her up from the couch.

"You don't know how happy you've just made me," he said, his voice filled with sincerity.

"This time, I promise I'll make you the happiest woman in the world."

Sarah let out a soft laugh, the sound melodic but hollow in her own ears.

"I believe you, Josh."

Across the hall, Eithan walked in with Adi, his usual carefree demeanor firmly in place.

But as soon as he saw Josh and Sarah standing close together, hand in hand, he paused. Something about the scene didn't sit right with him.

He couldn't explain it, but there was a tension in the air that felt off.

"Hey," Eithan called out, his voice breaking the moment.

"What's going on here?"

Josh turned to him, a grin splitting his face.

"Eithan! Guess what? Sarah said yes! We're getting married!"

Eithan's expression didn't change, but his eyes flicked to Sarah.

She met his gaze with a calm smile, her façade firmly in place.

Eithan didn't trust him—he never had. But for Josh's sake, he forced himself to remain neutral.

"That's… great," Eithan said slowly, though his tone lacked enthusiasm.

"But ? Why Hey josh it's not one of your prank?."

" No , Eithan . I am god damm serious "

" Dad will gonna hate it. We will wait for this remaining 6 days then we will talk about this matter with our dad and her dad "

" Ahh .. pain "

Adi, who had been lingering behind Eithan, clapped his hands together.

"Wow, a wedding! Does this mean josh will get a real women for real , man? Lucky You"

Josh laughed, ruffling Adi's hair.

"We'll see, little guy."

---

As the evening progressed, the mansion buzzed with the news of the engagement. Leo congratulated the couple with his usual formality, while Albert expressed their excitement in their own ways.

Everyone was confused Ruhr and adi was also seem don't like it.

"Wait, just like that? Josh think again it's matter of marriage not Girlfriend"

Ruhr said her expression Darken...

Adi was also somewhat in confused,

" People Don't propose that way "

But in that Confusion, Eithan couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't right. He kept a watchful eye on Sarah, noting every subtle shift in her demeanor, every flicker of emotion that crossed her face.

Sarah, on the other hand, played her role flawlessly. She laughed and chatted with the others, her charm disarming even the most skeptical among them.

But in the privacy of her mind, she reveled in her small victory. Step one of her plan was complete. Josh was hers now, and through him, she would gain the foot hold she needed to dismantle this family from the inside out.

As the night wore on and the mansion quieted, Sarah found herself alone in her room.

She stared at her reflection in the ornate mirror, a cold smile playing on her lips.

"One down," she whispered to herself.

"The rest will follow."

But what she didn't realize was that Eithan, ever the observant one, was already piecing together the puzzle. And though he couldn't yet prove it, he was certain of one thing: Sarah was not to be trusted.
