Vampire Queen : Fated Love

Chapter 31: Chapter 31 : How to make money ?

Sarah shifted uncomfortably in her seat, her eyes darting around the hall room.

She didn't know why, but the tension between the siblings was palpable, and it made her feel like an outsider in a moment she wasn't meant to witness.

While the others seemed to have settled down for now, Sarah couldn't shake the unease building in her chest.

From where Eithan was sitting, he observed her closely, his usual carefree expression softening.

In his mind, this wasn't Sarah's fault at all. The real issue was Josh. As the older brother, Josh had a responsibility to guide and protect his younger siblings, but his actions often reflected poorly on him.

The way he had dismissed Adi earlier was unacceptable in Eithan's eyes. Family should come first, no matter what.

Josh, meanwhile, sat slouched in his chair, clearly uncomfortable with the atmosphere as well.

After a long silence, he suddenly stood up, his movements abrupt and purposeful.

He walked over to Sarah, who stiffened slightly as he approached, unsure of what to expect. Without saying much, Josh plopped down beside her on the couch, his usual self-assured attitude masking the underlying awkwardness.

---

"Hey,"

Josh started, his tone casual as if nothing had happened earlier.

"So, uh... what do you know about that movie we watched earlier?"

Sarah glanced at him, surprised by the question.

"The movie?" she repeated, her voice tentative.

"No... That time I was in my bed ."

Josh nodded enthusiastically, latching onto her response.

"Yeah, right? I didn't see that coming either. But the movie has so much amazing scene that The way they built up the suspense was genius." He leaned back slightly, trying to appear relaxed as he steered the conversation into safer territory.

Eithan watched the interaction unfold, his expression unreadable.

He wasn't entirely pleased with how Josh was handling things—diverting attention away from his earlier behavior instead of addressing it directly.

Still, Eithan chose to hold his tongue for now. If talking about movies was Josh's way of smoothing things over with Sarah, so be it.

"You know,"

Josh continued,

"we should totally have another movie night sometime. I've got a list of classics I think you'd love."

Sarah smiled faintly, though her unease hadn't completely disappeared.

"Maybe," she said noncommittally.

"It depends on what kind of movies you have in mind."

Josh grinned, his confidence returning.

"Oh, I've got great taste. Trust me, you won't be disappointed."

He started listing off a few titles, gesturing animatedly as he described the plotlines.

As Josh and Sarah chatted, Adi, who was still sitting near Eithan, leaned closer to his older brother.

"Is he always like this?"

Adi whispered, his voice low enough that only Eithan could hear.

Eithan smirked and shrugged.

"Josh has his moments," he replied softly.

"He means well... sometimes."

Adi raised an eyebrow but didn't press further. Instead, he shifted his attention back to Sarah and Josh, his expression a mix of curiosity and mild annoyance.

Sarah, for her part, was doing her best to stay engaged in the conversation.

She nodded along as Josh spoke, offering occasional comments and questions to keep the dialogue flowing.

Despite her initial discomfort, she began to relax slightly. Josh had a way of making even the most mundane topics sound entertaining, and for a brief moment, she found herself forgetting the earlier tension.

However, Eithan wasn't about to let Josh off the hook entirely. After a few more minutes of watching his brother monopolize the conversation, Eithan decided to intervene.

---

He stood up and strolled over to the couch, his hands casually tucked into his pockets.

"Don't mind him, Sarah,"

Eithan said, his tone light but pointed.

"Josh has a habit of talking people's ears off when he gets excited about something."

Josh shot his older brother a look but didn't say anything, choosing instead to roll his eyes dramatically.

Sarah laughed softly, the sound easing some of the lingering tension in the room.

"It's okay," she said.

"I don't mind. It's nice to see someone so passionate about movies."

---

Eithan tilted his head slightly, a small smile playing at his lips.

"Fair enough," he said.

"But if he gets too carried away, let me know. I've got ways of shutting him up."

Josh groaned, leaning back against the couch.

"You're such a buzzkill, Eithan," he said, though there was no real malice in his voice.

Eithan chuckled.

"And you're too easy to tease. Balance, little brother—it's all about balance."

The playful banter between the brothers seemed to lighten the mood, and Sarah found herself smiling more naturally now.

Even Adi, who had been quiet for most of the exchange, appeared more at ease.

"Anyway,"

Eithan continued, turning his attention to Sarah,

"don't let Josh drag you into his world of endless movie trivia. If you ever want to hear about something actually interesting, come find me."

Josh scoffed, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Oh, please. Like you have anything better to talk about."

Eithan smirked, unfazed by the jab.

"You'd be surprised,"

he said simply before stepping back to his original seat.

For the next hour, the conversation in the hall room became more relaxed and free-flowing.

Adi eventually joined in, adding his own humorous observations to the mix, and even Eithan contributed now and then with his signature laid-back wit.

Through it all, Sarah couldn't help but notice the dynamic between the siblings.

Despite their differences and occasional clashes, there was an undeniable bond holding them together—a sense of loyalty and love that seemed to transcend their individual quirks.

It was both endearing and fascinating to witness.

---

By the time the sun began to dip below the horizon, casting warm, golden light across the room, Sarah felt much more at home.

The mansion, with all its grandeur and history, no longer seemed as intimidating. Instead, it felt like a place where stories were made, where moments both big and small shaped the lives of those who lived there.

And as for Josh, though his thoughts still occasionally drifted back to Sarah's captivating presence, he couldn't deny the importance of what Eithan had said earlier. Family was everything.

And no matter how much he might want to chase after his own ambitions, he knew deep down that his siblings would always be a part of who he was.

---

" Kids are doing well . Where is my secretary?"

Max spoke to himself after seeing some photo that Eithan send .

Max was First thinking that he will crush this mansion and make a hotel but now he has some new idea .

" What if I make function for bid , and sell all of antique in high Price. It will be both Profit and Honor "

So max simply laughing in his room all himself
