UCHIHA JOURNEY TO MULTIVERSE

Chapter 17: uchiha journey

The world outside Konoha's walls was cold and silent, a stark contrast to the chaos and fire left behind. The Uchiha radicals moved swiftly through the forest, every sense sharpened by adrenaline and fear. Mali, clutching a small pack and his grandfather's hand, tried to steady his breathing. He could still hear the distant echo of the Nine-Tails' roar, a reminder of the destruction they'd narrowly escaped.

Raigen signaled a halt. The group gathered in a moonlit clearing, counting their numbers and checking for wounds. Some had blood on their clothes—not all of it their own. The forbidden scroll, wrapped tightly in oilcloth, was handed to Raigen, who stowed it in a hidden pouch. Its weight seemed to press on everyone's conscience.

"We move north," Raigen whispered, his voice barely audible. "The rendezvous point is two hours away. We'll rest there, then decide our next move."

Mali nodded, glancing at the faces around him. Some were grim, others haunted. A few wept quietly for family left behind, or for the violence they'd been forced to commit. But there was no time for grief. Not yet.

In Konoha: The First Signs

Back in the village, dawn crept over the shattered rooftops. The fires were dying, the Nine-Tails finally sealed, but the cost was everywhere: bodies in the streets, wounded filling the hospital, and the Hokage's office a scene of frantic activity.

Hyuga Hiashi, his Byakugan active, led a patrol through the Uchiha compound. The clones were convincing, but something was off. Their chakra signatures flickered oddly, and when Hiashi looked closer, he saw through the deception.

"These are not real," he said coldly. "The Uchiha have vanished."

Alarm spread quickly. ANBU and Jonin fanned out, searching for any sign of the missing clan members. In the Hokage's office, Minato—pale and exhausted from the sealing—received the news with a heavy heart.

"How many?" he asked.

"Dozens, Hokage-sama. The radicals, at least. We believe they took the forbidden scroll. There are casualties among Root and ANBU."

Minato closed his eyes, the weight of leadership pressing down. "Find them. But do not endanger the civilians left behind. And… inform the council. We must be cautious."

The Wounded and the Left Behind

In a dark hospital room, Kakashi lay unconscious, his left eye bandaged. The medics whispered about his injuries, about the Uchiha who had attacked him. Guilt and anger simmered in the village, but no one dared speak openly yet.

Elsewhere, Shisui awoke to pain and emptiness. His Sharingan was gone, his vision blurred. He tried to rise, but the world spun. A medic found him and called for help. Shisui's first thought was not revenge, but sorrow—for his clan, for the future he had wanted to protect.

The Uchiha's Flight

The radicals pressed on, moving through the forest in tight formation. Scouts doubled back to erase tracks and set traps for any pursuers. Mali walked beside his grandfather, his mind replaying the night's events. He felt older, changed. The world he'd known was gone.

At the rendezvous point, they paused. Raigen unrolled a map, tracing a route toward the border. "We'll split into three groups," he said. "If one is caught, the others may escape. Our goal is the old safehouse in the Land of Rivers. From there, we'll decide our future."

Mali listened, absorbing every detail. He knew this was only the beginning. Their actions had bought freedom, but at a terrible price.

In the Shadows

Far from the fleeing Uchiha, in a hidden lair, Obito watched the chaos unfold through a swirling portal. Black Zetsu murmured, "The Uchiha move as expected. The village will never be the same."

Obito's masked face was unreadable. "Let them run. Konoha's wounds will fester. All according to plan."

Seeds of Consequence

As the sun rose higher, the village mourned its losses and counted its dead. The council argued in hushed voices, some blaming the Uchiha, others fearing what their disappearance meant. Minato stood alone in his office, staring at the empty space where the forbidden scroll had been.

Outside the walls, the Uchiha radicals vanished into the wilderness, fugitives in a world that would never trust them again. Mali looked back only once, the village a distant smudge on the horizon. He felt no triumph—only the cold certainty that nothing would ever be the same.
