The car was filled with silence.

But not the cold kind.

This was thick… breathless… humming with something dangerous and magnetic.

Ryu Xian sat there, breathing hard, his thumb tracing Meilin's bottom lip, swollen from their kiss.

Her knees had slid up to rest beside him, her body curled toward him like a sin waiting to be committed.

"Why do you do this to me…?" he whispered, voice low and raw.

Meilin gave a lazy smirk, her fingers ghosting over his collar. "Do what?"

He exhaled a shaky breath. "Make me lose control."

For a moment, neither of them said anything. The air was charged, hearts thudding too loudly to ignore.

And then—he spoke again. But this time, softer. Vulnerable.

That swallowed silence whole.

Their lips collided, hands searching, bodies pressing impossibly close.

His jacket slipped from his shoulders as her fingers ran through his hair, tugging softly.

He gripped her waist, guiding her hips against his with aching slowness.

Her breath hitched as his lips trailed from her mouth to her jaw, down the line of her neck.

> "You're mine now," she whispered into his ear.

> "Say it."

He smiled against her skin. "I've always been yours."

The windows fogged with heat.

Hearts racing.

Desires blooming into wildfire.

And for that night—
