The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system

Chapter 253: So sweet vengeance.

By the time they made it to the portal, Alix's energy bar was almost red and she didn't think that it was any different for Hero.

When they made it inside, they faced another obstacle immediately, the floor of the top room of the tower was moving. One wrong move and you would end up falling down a very dark hole that led to someplace she didn't want to know.

"We fly." Hero suggested. The floor led to the door behind which the dark wizard was waiting. They were so close.

The portal was activated again and an ant like creature was thrust inside. It's body was filled with bruises. They would have attacked it if a notification that it was an avatar was not shared by the game.

"What's this?" Hero asked.

The body of the ant like creature was filled with bruises as if it had been in a battle that involved being sliced.

Th creature opened his mouth, regurgitated and threw up. A human fell out with what were the foul smelling yellowish contents of it's stomach.

"Dark death." Alix exclaimed.

She could now guess that Bichu had merged fully with her avatar and she swallowed Dark death who was weak, transporting her into the tower from within her body. She didn't know if the idea was ingenious or the act itself particularly gross.

"Are you fine?" Hero asked.

"I am fine." A weak voice came from Dark death.

Bichu and her ant separated. "I am out of energy and potion." She fell to the ground after saying that, completely weak as well.

The energy bar of each player was kept private so she couldn't tell how much energy these two had left.

Alix had many of those, all stocked by the system. She distributed a few and also drunk, taking her energy all the way back to maximum.

The potion was really like a magic cure because you could feel the energy surge back into your body with warmth.

"Is everyone fine now?" she asked.

Dark death jumped up and her wolf avatar re-appeared as well. "I am okay." She announced energetically. Her daggers appeared in her hands. "Let's go behead this bastard."

"He is almost here." The system warned Alix.

The he was Verka, the elf. As expected, he had found his way to the field of dead souls already. Alix had a feeling that he would use the necromancer to locate it. Who better to find where dark creatures were sleeping than the one who dabbled in dark creatures? If she had to guess, the elf had invited the necromancer to his guild for this particular reason.

On the virtual screen, she saw that only three people from his guild had survived. However, they were having an easier time getting to the portal because her guild had killed at least fifty percent of the monsters and the necromancer was controlling the rest.

She looked back and said rapidly, "Hero, use the holy light spell even before you enter." She activated her flute to play and hoped it would work long enough until she got to it. She thrust it and Hero and said, "You guys start without me, I am going to make sure that we are not disturbed."

Hero was already itching to confront the dark wizard so she didn't dally. She caught the other two in her hands and activated the holy light spell, blasting the doors open.

While they headed inside, Alix made herself invisible and watched the elf and his group make it to the tower. She ignored the clashing sounds coming from the room and controlled her breath and her anxiety.

When it came to games and music, she was a control freak. She didn't trust the others to accomplish the goal without her.

"Come on, come one, come on..." She was vibrating with impatience.

The elf, pig orc and necromancer made it to the top of the tower. They were so anxious when they heard and saw blasts which were evidence of a fight coming from within the private room of the dark wizard. This blinded them, and they didn't bother to check their surroundings. They charged in head on and the orc fell down the deep hole.

The elf was startled and he jumped back. Unknowingly, he fell back on Alix's waiting rarely used sword. She didn't waste a moment in holding on to his waist from the back, taking one of her small blades and slitting his throat. At the same time, she kicked the surprised necromancer and he stumbled straight to the edge of the hole which had yet to close.

Something pulled him down and he went with a high pitched scream. Alix made herself visible and she smiled. Then, she pulled her sword out of the elf's body and threw it down the hole too.

To say that she was surprised by how simple and quick the entire process was, would be an understatement. She didn't think her crude plan would work. Well, fate had helped as well because the orc died on his own.

She was not the only one in shock, even the system and the millions of viewers were surprised. The elf actually had more support and fans than Alix. On the polls, he was the most favored to win not just the second world ultimate prize but also kill Alix again.

For thirty seconds or so, she just stood there dazed in disbelief, looking at the sword as if it did not belong to her.

"Six minutes to respawn, run run, run." The system yelled in her mind.

She merged with her dragon and flew into the room blasting fire out of her mouth. She aimed her fire at the head of the dark wizard.

He was tall, abnormally so, like a redwood tree. Maybe this was why everyone's attacks were aiming for his upper body. He had a pale face and long nose, like a cartoon kind of villain.

His arms were so long, matching his abnormal structure and every time he moved, he easily swatted one them away as if they were annoying flies.

"Dark death, Bichu down, make him short." She yelled.

As she yelled, she flew past Hero and the other tossed her the flute. She put it to her mouth and used the invisibility spell again.

The dark wizard chanted a spell to make her re-appear but the power of invisibility spell clashed against his. Bichu took advantage of this to stab her thick sword into the left leg of the wizard and she kicked it.

Even his body was sturdy, like a tree, so she had to use forced to cut just one leg apart. Dark death wrapped her chain around the other leg meanwhile.

While she and Bichu worked on the lower body, Hero was blasting her holy light at the dark wizard. His eyes, she had noticed were his weakness. If he couldn't see, he couldn't fight back accurately.

"Twenty seconds until two more players to join you and two minutes to the elf respawning." The system warned Alix.

She was about to play the flute but the warning caused her her to pause. Time was not on their side so, to hell with the sleeping song. There was no law which said she had to win by playing a song.

She got the flute and stabbed the sharp end into the left ear of the dark wizard.
