Chapter 544: A Taste of The Sanctious Forbidden
[KIA]
"Your majesty, are you okay?" Dumi asked as he looked at her. She seemed stressed and that wasn't a good thing for where they were headed. The rogues would sense that and they would try to manipulate the queen.
It was already bad enough that they had taken an amnesiac queen out of Olyana, and now they would have to deal with the aftermath of it all. Oh, how they hoped that this wouldn't be a bloodbath because that would be an actual hell day for everyone here.
"Yeah, let's get going," Kia said a bit harshly, making the high guards take a few steps back. They knew that she needed her space for some reason and honestly, they didn't blame her.
The woman hadn't stepped out of the realm for a really long time and now it was like she was being thrust into a world that seemed to have answers to questions she didn't know she had in the first place.
Maybe patience was the one thing they would have to deal with this time.
"Alright," Kadiam said as they walked with the queen to the club. It was a strange relay how hard she had held onto the packet that she had been given by Thando. Anyone would think that this was her life and honestly, they couldn't be blamed.
The woman was not easy to understand at any point in time, and this right here was one of the many exhibits of what they could have done and the hows of all that could be for the lot of them anyway.

Club Hernia was a busy club and yet when the queen came it was like order had been restored and everything was right. Well for the queen, she felt like she would find the missing piece of the puzzle here.
Kadiam and Dumi had been tasked with finding the rogue and bringing them to the queen because the queen wanted the kind to walk around the club that she didn't know shit about. And with the protocols, it was easier for her to be inside the club.
"Welcome to Club Hernia, your majesty," Samia greeted and the queen didn't say a word. Once again, she held onto the packet that she had been given even though Samia had tried to help her out.
The warriors just nodded at her and the queen Kia walked in. However, she got a whiff of a familiar lavender scent; a beautiful scent that screamed home for her. It was strange and she wanted to know where it was coming from.
So instinctively, she looked around, scanning the warriors who had a tint of the scent.
She was almost confused; until she looked up.
"All hail her majesty, Queen Kia, of Olyana Kingdom!" Samia announced right as the queen walked in. She looked gracious in her outfit and looked royal every step of the way, but that didn't seem to matter to her.
'Who is that?' Kia asked herself as she stayed glued to the familiar dark ones a little far from where she was at. She could see two men, hurdle in the distance, staring at her with shock and disbelief in their eyes like this was nothing that shouldn't have happened.
"No," Kia heard as the impossible happened. The two sets of eyes she had been looking at earlier changed and they were no longer men, or even had their scents hidden, no. They transformed into a familiar face and a face that she couldn't quite recognize.
But the one she recognized was the girl from the photo earlier.
It was Hawi.
And before Kia could say anything, their scents engulfed the club, before a portal opened and they went through it, looking like they had never intended for this to happen in the first palace.
But that set of white hair, the beautiful eyes, and the dark pupils not to mention the armor she had seen, it was all too familiar and Kia felt the breaths leave her lungs. She had not been sure what to expect, but this hadn't been it.
"Don't go after them!!!" Kadiam suddenly shouted and the wolves stood at a standstill. They all knew the woman who had just left and they wouldn't even catch up with her even if they followed them, and even worse was the possibility of what she would do to them.
"Everyone! Get into the club and lock the doors. All humans leave this instant. All the wolves who aren't part of the high guards, a portal to the werewolf realm is being created, make it you go through, and go back to your families.
"Not a word about who you saw today because if you do that, all hell will break loose, and good luck explaining to the Sicario psychos what happened here!!" Dumi added and there was chaos.
The queen stood there in the middle of the madness as her guards stood around her, keeping her safe. She had a feeling, however, that if the woman from earlier wanted to get to her she wouldn't even have to try as hard.
Hawi was beautiful and Kia had to admit that to herself. She was perfect and it was just a pity that she had fallen unconscious when she had seen Kia. It was the one thing that got Kia curious.
If their lives had been that perfect, what the fuck had happened then?
What had gone so wrong with their relationship that people had chosen to stay so quiet about it? No one had ever mentioned that Hawi was alive or what she could have meant to Kia and that was disturbing for the werewolf queen.
"I feel sick," Kia whispered as she stumbled where she was standing.
Even then, she held onto the packet that had been given to her so tightly you would think it was her way to get all the answers to even the only thing that could lead her to a path that was filled with so much emptiness.
"Your majesty… here," one of the high guards said to her as he handed her a glass of water before helping the queen to the nearest seat. All this time, her eyes were still glued to the one place she had seen the woman who had made her happy.
Kia could feel her heart constrict as she yearned for a little more time with Hawi. She didn't know that it was and got her looking, desperately. She needed answers and as the chaos unfolded around her, she knew she had to try and get her answers.
So, she watched in silence as the wolves ran around, and left the club back home. It was obvious that some of them had one part of Hernia for the longest time, but even the daring ones seemed to have a sense of urgency in their eyes.
Whatever Hawi was, she was dangerous and scared the living hell out of everyone. Hell, even the guards who were keeping the wine safe kept looking around, like they were scared of the woman coming back. And Kia was curious even more.
'Fuck,' Kia mumbled as she looked at the food she had been holding onto. Her stomach was growling and frankly, she didn't feel like eating anything from this club. So, she took a leap of faith and opened the packet that Thando had given her.
It may have been a risk, but the moment she looked at the food and the aroma hit her nose, Kia felt like the missing pieces of the puzzle would come together and soon.
