Chapter 1287  Golem

They arrived at the bottom of a large and empty rectangular room, very spacious with a very high ceiling while the stone floor was covered with rubbles that seem come out of nowhere since nothing in the room could explain where all these rubbles coming from caused everything in the room to seem perfectly intact.

[Master, what is this place?] The fire spirit looked at the place in confusion.

The Golem's head broke apart but then the rocks came back together a few seconds later without a single scratch. The golem became furious, it opened its hollow mouth which looked like a bottomless pit, the creature then let out a scream that felt like a shock wave. Once again Zhao Li Xin was pushed back, still he remained steadfast.

He planted his feet on the ground to avoid being thrown away, he crossed his arms in front of his chest then released qi to form a barrier to counter the enemy's attack. The golem knew its attack was in vain, the monster rock then threw a punch at Zhao Li Xin, this time Zhao Li Xin didn't have time to dodge as a result he was knocked to the ground, fortunately, its barrier minimized the damage it received, nevertheless, the injury he got it's not small, Zhao Li Xin spits the blood then wiped his mouth.

Zhao Li Xin was surprised at how sturdy it was, he then gave another punch at the creature's chest this time the crack got wider however it turned the Golem's attention back to him.

Zhao Li Xin felt the heavy wind come in his direction then he saw a giant rock fist swing at him, fortunately, he managed to jump down and then roll onto the ground.

He stared at the crack in the Golem's chest which was now close again. Zhao Li Xin gritted his teeth in frustration, it was troublesome, all creatures with healing abilities were troublesome, not including his wife though...wait, LORY!

[Fire spirit where's my backpack?] Zhao Li Xin lost his backpack, AGAIN!

Zhao was blown away by a gust of wind causing him to spin uncontrollably in the air but then a purple shield enveloped him like transparent glass blocking the impact of the explosion.

After everything calmed down, the Golem shattered into pieces but because the crystal core was destroyed the Golem could no longer be fused, on the other hand, Zhao Li Xin knelt on one leg without being injured.

When Zhao Li Xin raised his gaze, the shield protecting him had disappeared after completing its task. Seeing Zhao Li Xin safe and sound, the fire spirit breathed a sigh of relief.
