THE LOVE I WISHED FOR

All of us were sitting on the couch in living room deciding to play some games.

" Anna where is Chris?"

Jade asked me.

" umm..I don't know maybe outside."

I lied and smiled awkwardly.

I just hope she just don't reject him.

Then we heard footsteps coming downstairs.

We all looked at the direction of sound and see Jinie and chris coming down with Hand in hand and smiling brightly.

Guess it went well.

"look like you did it."

Chris nodded and smiled brightly while Jinie blushed.

She came toward me and hugged me.

" Thankyou."

" No need. I am very happy for both of you."

We parted away from the hug.

" somebody please tell me what's going on."

Jade looked at us with confused face.

" Are you that dumb to not know what's going on."

Mark said and hit Jade on head.

I look at chirs and he nodded.

He took Jinie's hand in his and lifted it in air.

" me and Jinie are now official dating.

And she is my girlfriend."

I smiled and hugged Chris.

" you did well."

" All thanks to you."

Then afterwards everyone congratulate them one by one.

" Don't tell me that I am the one only single here."

Jade said with shocked tone.

" It's sad but it's true."

Said Edison.

" yah! Why did you said that? It's hurts you know."

He yelled and hit Edison.

" Don't worry Jade you will soon find the one who will love you."

" Anna you are the only one who cares about me. Tell you husband to be a little sweet like you."

I chuckled at his words and looked at Edison.

Edison glared at Jade and looked away.

He need to be a little non serious sometimes.

Everyone was happy and chatting when Emmy cleared her throat and said grabbing everyone's attention.

" Actually at this happy moment i want to tell you all a good news."

All diverted there attention at her.

" what's that Emmy?"

Mark asked her a little concerned.

Emmy looked a little shy and nervous.

I went to her and held her hand in mine.

"what is it? You can share with me?"

I said to console her. She looked at me with a smile yet nervous look.

" I -am_ pregn-pregnant."

My eyes widen. Did I hear it right.

She said lightly so only I could hear it.

" what?"

" I am pregnant."

She said this time looking at Mark.

"Oh..OK....WHAT!!?"

Mark yelled because of shock and happiness. He took a minute to process the input and then ran towards her wife and hugged her tightly.

" Is that true honey?"

Mark asked unable to control his excitement.

" yes that's true you are going to be dad."

" when did you? Why didn't you tell me before when you find out?"

" I was waiting for right time and it's been 2 weeks of pregnancy I found out 2 days ago."

" I can't believe this..I am so so happy...I..."

He hugged her wife again...both of them are so happy. I am happy for them.

" yeah i am going to be dad."

He jumped all around the house like a child who got his favourite toy and hugged His friends.

" Congratulations bro."

Jade Chris and Edison Congratulated Mark.

"congratulations Emmy."

I hugged her and rubbed her back.

Then I looked at everyone and said.

" we should celebrate this."

" yes we should."

Said Edison.

"so let's drink and play some games."

I said and all agreed.

Then after that we had some drinks and played games.

But I noticed that Edison was lost in thoughts. He looked rather more silent than ever.

Is he tired? I wanted to ask him that what was bothering him but I got interrupted and forgot.

I will ask him later.

Next day

I was doing my work in my cabin as usual in the morning..when I heard a knock at my door and Jinie walked in.

"Your dad Mr Smith and Mr william want to meet you."

" Dad and Mr william? Both of them? Why? Did something happened?"

" You will know when you meet them."

" why even ask just let them in then."

Why both of them wants to meet me at this time. Is everything OK?

Then my father and Mr Kim came in.

" oh dear."

I ran to my dad and hug him tightly and then Mr William.

" How are you daughter."

Mr William asked.

" I am fine Mr William."

" huh? If I remember i am you father in law so call me dad now."

" yeah mr- dad. I am sorry."

It was awkward for me.

" btw can I know the reason of you both visiting me at the same time."

" hmm let's sit first."

My dad and said and we all sat down on the couch in my cabin.

My father looked at me and then said.

" Anna it's been two weeks since your marriage and you and Edison been busy since then. You didn't get to spend time together so we planned honeymoon for you."

I almost chock at air. What!!? Honeymoon?? Me and Edison?

"w-hat are you saying dad?"

" yes Anna you and my son both of you should take a break from your work and spend sometime with each other. It's very important for a healthy marriage life."

" dad it's fine. We are okay? We are spending time with each other daily. Beside both of us have a lot of work in our hands."

" we knew you will make some excuse like that but thats not gonna work and we already booked your tickets. You just need to pack your stuff."

" But dad-"

"we are not going to listen anything. No excuses will work. That's for your own good. So just agree silently and do as we say."

" yes Anna..Edison will also agree. I will talk to him."

I sighed and I know I don't have any choice other then this. So fine let's do it are I agreed just like that.

" your tickets are of Paris for a week and the flight is tommorow morning 8'o clock."

" Tomorrow? Isn't that too early? "

" you are already 2 week late and saying tommorow is early."

"okay fine and thank you for thinking about us Dad and Mr...dad."

"oh you don't need to it's are responsibility. You are our child and we love both of you."

" still thankyou."

"okay then we should leave now. You should also go and start your packing."

"okay and please visit us next time."

Them greeted them goodbye and they left.

Oh god honeymoon seriously.

Honestly I really wanted a holiday but not a honeymoon.

But what I can do now then lets go i will talk to Edison tonight.

Then I called jinie and she came In immediately.

"Yes Anna you called me?"

"oh yeah me and Edisonare going on a honeymoon so-"

"what!! You are going on what?"

"honeymoon afterall we are married. Is that so shocking?"

" yeah kinda a little too shocking for me."

"I know..but we are going tomorrow so please clear my schedule for a week."

" okay and you don't worry I will handle everything you just enjoy your honeymoon with Edison and move on."

I signed and nodded.

" I will try my best. I will be going home now you take care here and call me if something came up ok. I will be back in a week."

" Dont worry just go and all the best for your honeymoon."

She said and winked at me before living the room.

" huh? What was that for?"
