THE LOVE I WISHED FOR

Chris's pov

Now I am here standing in the balcony and thinking how to propose her.

Anna told me to propose her but i am not ready.

But I remember what Anna told me before coming here.

' propose her now or it will be too late. There are already tons of boys waiting in line to get out with her. If you miss this chance you might never get a chance.'

I shrugged all the negative thoughts.

Jinie is so pretty obviously there will be tons of boys waiting in line.

Anna is right what if I never get a chance again.

I need to do it now or I will be too late as Anna said.

But what if she rejected me.

What if she already have someone in her life then what will I do?

I really like her very much.

Let's not think negative and think only positive thoughts.

I have done all the arrangements.

Anna and I decorated this place.

We just decorated it with flowers this was the maximum we could do in such short time.

It's not much but I hope jinie likes it.

I looked around once again and it was all set flower petals On the middle and some candles.

" Chris."

Someone called me and I turned around to see Edison.

I took a deep breath and thank God it's Edison.

" yeah.."

" why are you so nervous?"

He asked.

" nervous..or me? never."

" Then why are your hand and legs are trembling?"

I looked downward and see my hand and legs were trembling.

I sighed and nodded.

"yeah i am."

" don't worry it will be fine. No girl can reject you."

" I just hope so."

He looked at me with a questionable look like he wanted to ask something.

" you wanna ask something?"

" can i ask you a question?"

"yeah."

He looked a little hesitant but then said.

" how did you find out that you love her?"

"what?"

" means how did you find out that you have feelings for her in romantic way. That you love her and all."

I sighed and looked at the sky.

" Edison you know....when you are in love with someone you will feel it.

You will feel a feeling that you have never felt with anyone before. you want to stay with that person forever your heartbeat increases around that person you feel butterflies around that person you will feel jealous when you see her with another men you will also get hurt when you see her hurt or crying and you want to spend your whole life with her. And i feel all this around Jinie....so that's how I know that I love her."

I looked at Edison and he was deep in his thoughts.

"what are you thinking?"

"nothing...just how can people fall in love with someone just like that..we can feel that same with friends and family."

" No thats different...you will feel different. Love can't be described in words. It's something out of this world. You can only realize when you will go through it or will experience it yourself."

I looked at him and he looked at me with again so many questions in his eyes.

I placed my hand on his shoulder and said.

" I Know you are thinking about Anna and I know what you are going through rn."

" I felt so many emotions at same time for the first time in my life."

He gave me confused look

" I know....I know but don't think think much you will know with time. Just let yourself free and feel all the feelings. And it's nothing wrong she is your wife."

"I don't know."

" I know it's complicated but you will soon find out."

Edison took a deep breath and looked away.

" Edison I wanna to ask you something."

He nodded.

" Is there anything you are hiding from Anna?"

His expression change into a frown and also suprised.

"why do you think that?"

" nothing just i want you to take care of her she is most precious to me she had gone through a lot in her past but i want you to make her happy and if you are hiding something dont take too much time in telling her....Never break her heart or I Will break you."

I laughed at the last line but Edison became serious and seem to be thinking hard.

There is something he is hiding.

I got a message on my phone of Anna saying that be ready they are coming.

"they are coming what should I do."

Suddenly I went into panic mode.

My mind went blank the nervousness again took over me.

" Just relax for now took deep breath and calm down."

I took deep breath and tried to calm myself.

" just say it okay. Don't think too much."

" I am afraid what if she reject me."

"no she will never reject someone like you."

" okay i will do it."

" First calm down and be yourself okay."

I nodded and with that Edison went away.

After that Jinie and Anna entered.

Anna winked at me.

" oh i forgot something i will come back till then you both talk with each other."

She left from there leaving me and Jinie alone.

For a minute there was a awkward silence.

I decided to break the silence.

" how are you?"

"I am fine what about you?"

" I am just fine."

Jinie nodded and I took deep breath before saying. Say it Chris. Just say it.

" Jinie I want to tell you something."

"yes what is it?"

I kneel down in front of her And she look suprised.

"what_are..you..."

I cut her off in mid.

"shh let me talk today I am so nervous rn let me just say it."

I took deep breath again and hold her hand in mine she was fully taken back by my sudden action.

" I want to tell you that when the day when i first met you I started liking you. You make me feel a very special feeling that i never felt with anyone you make me feel better by just your presence. You make my heart flutter by your little smile you are very special to me and i want to spend my whole life with you. I Wanna cry with you..smile with you and Celebrate every little happiness with you.....I don't know when but I fell in love with you."

I looked up in her eyes and her eyes Started to get wet.

" I wanted to tell you this from such a long time that I love you Jinie will you be my girlfriend and live your entire life with a jerk like me."

As I waited for her answer and I can see the tear forming in her eyes she was on the verge of crying.

She looked away and then again at me.

" yes i will and I love you too from the very start."

I was shocked at her confession and happy at same time. I got up from the floor and looked in her eyes.

" so will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes ofcourse you idiot."

A tear left her eye and I wiped it before hugging her.

" I am so happy rn. I can't tell you. This is like a dream come true. You are finally in my arms."

" me too."

I broke the hug and looked at her.

It didn't took me a second and I capture her lips into mine .

Slowly kissing her and she kissed me back. I am so happy.

We pull away from the kiss and Her cheek were red like a tomato.

" I love you so much."

" me too I love you too."

" now let's go and tell everyone about this."

She nodded and we headed downstairs.
