The Legend of Damron

*The sun shined out and it was The Traveler's time to wake up.*

*Received a message from unknown number*

*"Hello there Traveler. Can you come to Duran's hidden cave just far away after the beachside. Thanks. If you accept your payment will be big."*

Traveler: "This again... But the payment tho... I'm curious. Lets sneak out this time."

*Sneaks out*

Traveler: *checks message again.* "Alright. It should'nt be too far away."

*Walks for like 1 hour*

Traveler: "Man how far is this shit!"

*Keeps walking and eventually reaches it.*

?: "Hello there. I've been awaiting you."

Traveler: "I hate you... *gasps for breath* for this..."

?: "Oh Pardon me for making you walk this far... Listen.. i need your help in fixing a massive outburst in this cave. If it isnt fixed this can risk everyone in Duran City's life... Will you help me?"

Traveler: "Let's... Get this over with..."

?: "Oh? But it will take a lot of time to do this."

Traveler: "How long are we talking...?"

?: "Approximately 12 hours."

Traveler: "12- WHAT!?"

?: "Please... Take my apology. You'll get paid a lot if you help me now. And maybe live to see tomorrow..."

Traveler: "Alright... Lets go i guess.. uhh.. i still don't know your name."

?: "Thanks a lot Traveler! Also call me Kate.

Lets get inside i will guide you through this."

*The two enter the Cave*

Traveler: "How big is this cave if i might ask?"

Kate: "Well as a citizen of Duran city i only know that its Huge. Only experienced travelers or gods might know how big this cave actually is."

Traveler: "My- never mind. Tell me now, what's exactly needed to be done?"

Kate: "You see, this cave once triggered massive earthquakes and sometimes increase in water levels almost washing away our Nation. And i want to solve this problem for good. Which is why i would need your help for it of course."

Traveler: "Aight bet!"

*At the first entrance of the cave*

Kate: "You see that barrier right there. Its covered in wind elemental power. These were made so that no ordinary person touched it to leave this cave in the same condition as it is now. Luckily for me, i have studied everything about these and know the right way to fix them. After we dispel the barrier i will be able to repair this and restore power here. Then we will have to look after 29 more."

Traveler: "So there are 30 of them!?"

Kate: "Yes. And i would'nt be able to do this without you if you didn't accept it. And we risk death in this case."

Traveler: "Wow. You did not lie when you said that the cave is that huge!"

Kate: "Of course. I said i studied this cave for like almost 2 decades. I should know everything there is to fix all of this madness and misery."

Traveler: "Now tell me what exactly should i do to this barrier if i may ask?"

Kate: "I would like you to use your elemental powers on it to start the process of removing the barrier. Then i will be able to access the stuff behind and repair them. Would you do it for me?"

Traveler: "Sure thing. I will do it. Now tell me where. It looks like it has a place where i should place my hand. But i don't see it."

Kate: "Well don't worry about that. Its right there on the left corner."

Traveler: "Found it!"

*The Traveler puts his hand on the place and soonly the process starts. The barrier shows a percentage until it would've been completed and then it would be over. What they didn't know is that the barrier is guarded by enemies that appear during the process of barrier removal.*

Kate: "Eek! Enemies! You can fight them while the process runs! Once you put your hand we usually have to wait! But i didn't expect enemies to appear!"

Traveler: "Got it. Time to put the girls's training into action. Come at me fools!"

*The Traveler fights the enemies that unexpectedly appeared. Then after the fight was over the Barrier was removed*

?: *Sys-120 granted access.*

Kate: "Alright. I got the access. Now i can go and repair the monument. And yes if you want to ask this isnt just a normal monument, we usually call these monuments the teleporters, tho as you may see those have been corrupted by Shadow powers used by enemies. And if i can restore each 30's power by repairing them with your help i might be able to restore everything and save Duran City."

Traveler: *in his mind "Damn she yaps a lot."* "Umm sure it sounds interesting."

*Kate starts repairing the teleporter.*

*After 2 minutes*

Kate: "Alright this is done! Onto the next one!"

*They kept going for a while until they came across a new barrier which was of the same type.*

Kate: "Alright Traveler same as last time but be careful at the elemental shock."

Traveler: *touches* "Elemental wha- OW!?"

Kate: "Oh please be careful... These hurt element holders... The barriers aren't that easy to remove you know?"

Traveler: "You should've told me! It hurts! Gosh!"

*touches again but more carefully this time. And then enemies spawn*

Kate: "They are here again! Please get rid of them so the process of removal can be finished!"

Traveler: "On it!"

*After the fight*

Traveler: "Phew! Wow this training surely helps a lot!"

Kate: "Let me take care of this."

*After 3-4 minutes*

Kate: "Alright i am done!"

Traveler: "Onto the next one i suppose..."

*It went on as time passed and they reached the 15th teleporter for the time being.*

Kate: "Last teleporter. Let me handle it."

*After the process.*

Kate: "For now everything is stable. Why don't we take a break for the time being and meet again another time? I'll message you when its the case. What do you say?"

Traveler: "I agree. Let's meet here some other time."

Kate: "Alright then!"
