I smiled at her teasing before I asked something. "Wait? What about Nathanos? Shouldn't he fall in charge of your business now since he is a member of the main branch? Would be nice to see the stepson again."

Kathrine's face became a little downtrodden, despite her cave walls caving in at Apollo calling her child his stepson, the other part was still too upsetting. "Nathanos has been... Ghosting me since he heard the news about the divorce. He passed the business' he works on to his trusted subordinates and has disappeared. I think he has gone with his Dad. They always were close after all. And to be fair he is right to, I am the one that asked to break up the marriage after all.

I got up off the couch, leaving the comfort of my Sophia body pillow, and went over to hug Kat. Kathrine was surprised by the hug, but took it in stride and hugged back hard. "I am sorry if I have caused issues with your children my dear. I know how much you love them."

Kathrine felt so safe in her lover's arms. She had not brought the subject up to him in case it upset him, but she must have forgotten for a moment how loving and supportive Apollo was. She allowed herself a few more moments of safety before pulling away.

"Thank you. I really needed that. And you haven't caused any issues. Nathanos knew it was a long time coming, I think he is more upset with the fact his momma is getting dicked down by a man younger than he is."

Kathrine shook her head. "No, Rhea does dangerous work, she can't get updates for months at a time. I send a message to the designated address I am told to send them to, but It could be months, or even a year before she gets that. I gave Kathrine a side eye at that comment, but decided not to say anything further. We then made our ways outside where an Air cab was already waiting for her. I gave her a final peck on the lips before watching as the cab took her north.
