Chapter 177: Lynn is one of us
However, with the previous base, Lynn was still able to carve the alchemy circle very quickly with the mithril carving knife.
His right hand, holding the mithril carving knife, moved up and down, and beams of golden light appeared on the surface of the alchemy cage, intertwining into alchemical formations glowing with strange lines.
Soon, dozens of different alchemical formations appeared above the alchemy cage.
Most of these alchemical formations had negative effects, such as alchemical formations with attributes like "suppression," "anti-magic," "weakness," "disintegration," "aging," and "soul erosion" as their main attributes.
As for the positive attributes Lynn promised Ron to protect Scabbers and make him behave, it was nothing more than the simplest defensive alchemical circle.
Even the alchemical circle designed to make Scabbers behave was still a negative one with "soul erosion" as its main attribute.
After all, soul erosion would continuously consume and drain a person's energy, and the exhausted Scabbers would naturally become so obedient that he wouldn't even want to move.
That makes sense, right?
One could say that only one of the dozens of alchemical sets was used to protect Scabbers from being attacked by Crookshanks, while the rest were used to suppress and disintegrate Scabbers's bodily functions, making him even worse off.
After the last alchemical circle was refined, Lynn placed the mithril carving knife down and raised his wand.
Dark syllables left Lynn's mouth as the wand tapped lightly on the alchemy cage.
When a golden light faded, the alchemical sets originally carved on the surface of the alchemy cage disappeared inside the cage, hidden from outsiders' eyes.
After completing this step, the specially customized alchemy cage Lynn made for Peter Pettigrew was fully completed.
After finishing the alchemy cage, Lynn put away the tools and went to bed to rest.

The Next Morning
When Lynn and Irina left their respective rooms, they saw Harry, who looked worried, and Ron, who had lost his temper after irritating Percy.
"Ron, I've made your alchemy cage," Lynn said, holding the alchemy cage he had refined the previous night.
Upon hearing this, Ron's depression vanished. He happily ran over and took the alchemy cage from Lynn's hand.
Ron thanked Lynn, "Thanks, Senior Rowle!"
Ron pulled out Scabbers from his pocket and tried to put him in the alchemy cage.
However, as Scabbers approached the alchemy cage, he seemed to sense that something was wrong. He could feel a wave of magical power emanating from this strange cage, which terrified him!
That magical power fluctuation was something he had only experienced with dark magic!
Scabbers' eyes widened, and his gaze became fearful. He screamed, struggling to break free from Ron's hand and trying to escape from the place.
However, before he could jump off the table, a large hand firmly held him down.
Scabbers looked up and saw Lynn staring at him with "kind" eyes and a "gentle" smile.
Scabbers felt as if the Grim Reaper's scythe was squeezing his throat, and the cold look made him feel as if he had fallen into an ice cellar.
"Try not to let him out. Just place the food and other things directly in the cage," Lynn said, putting Scabbers into the alchemy cage, closing the cage door, and then speaking to Ron, who was standing next to him.
Ron nodded like a fool and promised repeatedly, "Okay, Senior! For his health and safety, I won't let him out! I won't let that smelly cat hurt him. Scabbers!"
Hearing this, Hermione glared at him, "What stinky cat?! It's my Crookshanks, a very gentle cat! Isn't that right, Crookshanks?"
As she spoke, Hermione vigorously rubbed the side of her face against Crookshanks' belly in her arms.
Crookshanks let out a small "meow," echoing Hermione's affection.
But Crookshanks' eyes were fixed on Scabbers, who was locked in the alchemy cage, as if he wanted to kill him.
However, the terrifying magical fluctuations emanating from the alchemy cage made this large, pudgy cat with mixed blood—a blend of cat and kneazle, born sensitive to magical power—feel somewhat timid.
At that moment, Mr. Weasley poked his head through the door of the Leaky Cauldron and said to everyone, "They're coming, let's go, let's go quickly!"
Mr. Weasley led the group with big strides across a short stretch of sidewalk to the first car parked across from the sidewalk.
These were two old, dark green cars. The drivers of the cars were wizards with mysterious expressions, dressed in bright green velvet suits.
Obviously, the drivers of these two cars were Aurors from the Ministry of Magic, and naturally, the Ministry had ordered them to protect Harry, the young wizard known as the savior, from being attacked by the notorious fugitive, Sirius Black, who was injured.
The group took a special Auror car from the Ministry of Magic and soon arrived at King's Cross Station.
They all passed through the barrier one by one and boarded the Hogwarts Express. However, Harry didn't board the train with everyone. Instead, he was chatting quietly with Mr. Weasley on the platform.
As time passed, the Hogwarts Express was about to depart, and Harry was able to board the train just before it started.
"I need to talk to you alone," Harry whispered to Ron, Hermione, and Irina as they walked down the train aisle while the Hogwarts Express gradually picked up speed.
After hearing Harry's words, Ron looked at his sister Ginny and said, "Ginny, go on!"
"Fine, no problem." Ginny was angry. She didn't want to say another word to this annoying brother and stormed off down the aisle.
At that moment, only five people remained in the aisle: Harry, Ron, Hermione, Irina, and Lynn.
Harry walked down the aisle, trying to find an empty compartment, but along the way, his eyes would occasionally glance at Lynn.
Seeing this, Irina grabbed Lynn and said to Harry, "Don't worry, Harry, Lynn is one of us."
Ron, who had just received Lynn's favor, was also on Irina's side. He nodded and said, "Yes, although Senior Rowle is a Slytherin, he's definitely a good person. We don't have to avoid him."
Hermione didn't speak, but her attitude clearly leaned toward Irina.
Seeing that all his friends felt this way, Harry had no choice but to nod and led the four of them to the compartment at the back of the train.
This compartment was the only one on the Hogwarts Express that wasn't full.
There was only a middle-aged man in the compartment, sleeping soundly in a seat next to the bed. This middle-aged man wore a ragged wizard's robe, patched in many places.
He appeared sickly and weak, and although he still seemed young, his light brown hair was already graying.
