The Extra’s Survival: Logging into the Game Master System!

Chapter 180: [The Vampire King!]

As I scrolled through the servers, looking at my contractors trying their best to survive in their own tutorials, I observed and analyzed the changes in their status and their behaviours.

Each of those players had reached a new height than before, becoming a formidable force in their worlds. A fascinating sight to see since not a single one of them failed, and were able to go beyond my expectations in their own way.

When I reached out to a few, they began bowing to the screen, thanking me and praising me as their saviour. Others were mostly calm as they asked me what my purpose was in helping them. As for the special few, they simply said that one day they will return the favour I had shown them.

One after another, I talked with them about their lives and such, asking if they needed anything from me, to which mostly denied saying that what I had given was already enough. Others asked me directly what they needed, while those who were desperate asked me for help before I could even ask them.

As for how I went about it was simple.

Those who denied for the gift were given a quest with a reward of a B-Grade Skill that suited them the most.

Those that agreed to my offerafter I asked for what they wanted simply got what they asked for without any conditions attached. I also gave them a quest to upgrade one of their skills to B-Grade just like the elf, Elise.

Lastly, the ones who asked me directly before I could ask them…

They were divided between three groups again.

The one who was really desperate. I gave them a blessing that suited their situation the best.

The one who wasn't desperate but still required help. I gave them a temporary skill or item that they can use to solve their problems for now. The skill/item should vanish after the task is completed or if the time limit runs out.

Lastly, the ones who wanted to take advantage of me. I don't know how they had so much guts, but I guess, people will always be people.

So for them, I gave them a C-Grade item that could help them through the situation they were 'going through.' If they were strong enough to protect that item, they would be able to survive, else that artifact would attract stronger powers, consuming them with it.

Also, I added a few conditions like if they were to complete a quest, they can upgrade the artifact's grade if they wanted to.

The Quests should motivate all of them to try harder to hunt the monsters, in turn giving me more GM Points to use.

And with that done, I finally closed the [Server] tab and then looked at the morning almost upon me. I yawned as I spent all my night talking with my contractors. Honestly it was fun looking at them growing on their own, kind of made me proud of it.

With a smile on my face, I then got off the bed before stretching a little. Through my enhanced senses I observed the half vampire girl, Navia, who was now standing at the ground floor of the building.

There was another man with her, an extremely beautiful and charming man that could seduce anyone irrespective of their genders.

'Seems like the Vampire King has finally appeared,' a smile formed on my face as I looked at his stats and skills. He was the perfect partner for me to check my current level right now.

Though as if he saw me checking on him, his eyes turned in my direction, before I chuckled and then used my new 'teleportation' skill to reach down there where he and Navia were waiting for me.

Or perhaps they had just entered here? I didn't know. Neither I cared about such things.

"Hello there!" I greeted them, making both of them turn to me with a slight surprise. While Navia was taken aback at my sudden appearance, the Vampire King was merely intrigued at the skill I had shown to him.

I walked towards them but none of them spoke. Navia seemed to be waiting for the Vampire King to speak, while the Vampire King observed me from top to bottom, trying to analyze me perhaps?

Though as his gaze turned from nonchalant to surprise and finally to shock, I pretty much guessed that he failed to see through me.

That put a smile on my face as I spoke politely,

"It's not good manners to pry into other's secrets, is it?"

Hearing my words, the Vampire King smiled a bit before finally asking,"are you the traveller from another world?"

I nodded, making his eyes brighten a bit before he asked,"can you take me there, to the other worlds?"

A direct request, or perhaps a wish? He seemed to be pretty straight forward with his words. Seems like we will get along, huh?

"I can't take you but I think you can go there yourself," I said as I knew the tutorial was going to happen soon and it was pretty obvious that this guy would survive that. He was the strongest being here, and hence with the highest chances of survival.

Unless of course he is turned into an Admin just like that dragon. That would be pretty sad not gonna lie… but let's keep that secret for now.

His eyes were expectant, he was silently waiting for me to explain what I meant by that. And pondering about it for a few seconds, I decided to not tell him directly.

"I will explain everything in detail but I have a condition first," I said as I decided that it would be better to make this a bit exciting for both of us. It's not like he would mind given I could see him itching to fight with me right now, only held by the thought of what if I were killed by him by mistake.

It was laughable… but then again, his power in this world was the root of his arrogance. Something that had seeped into his mind for over thousands of years. It was understandable yet pitiful at the same time. The people in the tower are going to either have a hard time, or give a hard time to this guy. Especially the ones in the higher floors.

Still… it had nothing to do with me.

"Fight with me. If you win, I will tell you anything you want to know. If you lose… well, I will still tell you a few things but only what I want to tell you," I said as my condition the smile on the Vampire King's face widened even more than before.
